Sam looked at the envelopes. One of them is red and another one is black.

"What is in them?"

"Two tasks. You see, I am a bit of a ga lover. I find joy in a proper ga like no one else.

So, I created a very special ga for you kids this ti. And this ga has many variables. I will explain it to you after you choose one of these two tasks.

The first task, the red envelope is a Compound mission of Escort and Assassination. Your task is to be soone's bodyguard for a while and kill everyone that cos after that person. Rember, you cannot leave anyone that cos to kill your target of protection.

The second task, is a compound mission of Assassination and Escort. You have to definitely kill soone and you should escort so people."

"Who should I protect and who should I kill?"

"In both cases, there is one common thing. You would be escorting so whiny brats and you would be killing the people who are after those whiny brats."

I am not going to reveal any other information. All I will tell you is that the Black envelope has a higher risk of you dying, but the potential number of points you could gain from both the missions is sa.

I offered similar missions to your fellow players and they didn't even think twice before taking the red envelope."

Sam thought for a mont and asked.

"What is your choice?"

"My choice?"

"What mission do you want to take?"

"Interesting, no one asked that question."

"I will prefer that you take the black envelope. If what I heard about you is true, the

Sam looked at the envelope curiously. He tried to pry it open, but all of a sudden he felt a piece of information entering his mind. He looked at Lucifer in shock. He wanted to speak up, but he was sucked out by a force and disappeared from the spot.

"This should be interesting."

Lucifer smiled as he disappeared as well.

Sam reappeared in a black tunnel. The tunnel seed to be deep in so cave ruins. All he could see is darkness with his naked eye.

But at this mont, he couldn't care less about it. All he is thinking right now is the information that ca to his head.

It turned out that the mission is not as direct as Lucifer told.

There are too many layers to it and Sam felt kind of cheated when he thought about all of those layers.

He opened the envelope and used took a look at it. Even in that darkness, he didn't even need to use his spiritual sense the letter had that effect.

There are just two sentences on it.

"Find the woman buried deep inside the caves and unseal her. She is essential for the rest of your mission."

Sam sighed and looked around.

He waved his hand a bunch of insect puppets flew out of his storage. The puppets are going to do the hard work for her. All he has to do is wait while thinking about the ga.

From the information, he received the missions given to each and every player are different. There is no overlap at all. But there is a chance for that overlap to happen and if things go south things will lead to players trying to kill each other.

Of course, with the current dynamic of the players, unless it is Dayus, it is very unlikely for death to even happen.

But even if the players held back, the number of people and forces that are actually involved in this whole shitstorm is way too many.

There is no explicit tiline too, so it is hard to know when the mission will be over.

The worst part is that Sam doesn't know what exactly the cause of the shit storm is.

The only thing that he got from the ssage from this envelope is that currently there are almost 18 organizations that are involved with many gods and are now fighting each other while trying to snatch sothing from their common target.

And the common target itself is not a single or small entity.

There are seven organizations that also belong to different gods. One of the organizations actually belonged to Zeus.

Another organization that solely worships Hera. Zeus' wife and sister.

These incestuous gods are actually deeply involved in whatever is happening.

Then, there is one organization worshipping Loki, another one worshipping so more gods that Sam really didn't know about.

They seed to be gods like Gambler. They exist in this world, but he never heard of them back on earth.

These seven gods gave out a combined boon to these seven organizations and the other eighteen organizations' gods gave them the tip on this boon. Telling them to gain whatever that ca out of that boon.

Apparently, this boon will tip the power scales very much if it realized its full potential.

But Sam already felt like the power scale has been destroyed.

A war between twenty-five individual organizations all with their own selfish agendas. This is not going end well for any party that is involved.

And for so reason, this woman is connected to all of this.

Sam doesn't know how yet, but he knows that there is a connection.

As Sam is contemplating things, he felt a signal from one of his puppets. He used shadow fusion to move swiftly through the tunnels and arrived at the location in a few seconds.

Sam is surprised by what he saw. There is a large stone door that is guarded by a few guards.

And his spiritual sense is unable to tear through the door. Even his energy vision is a bit off because the energy emitted by the door is too dense. He could barely make out so silhouettes behind the door, but he couldn't see exactly what it is.

He didn't worry too much. He disappeared into the shadows and appeared behind one of the guards.

*BAM*

One hit to the back of the head and the guard fainted. The remaining guards are alerted, and Sam moved swiftly to finish them off one by one. He didn't kill any. He just made them faint.

Of course, before he could finish all of them, people inside were already alterted.

As the door was about to open, Sam disappeared once again and he hid a bit far away while looking at the entrance.

Four people ca out of the door anxiously. Sam used this chance to take a look at what is inside his spiritual sense.

He saw a woman lying on the ground. She is covered in so ragged clothes, her whole body seed ssy and she is extrely weak and unconscious.

There are two more n in the room, one is sitting beside her as he is what seed like examining her.

The other man just looked at the man and the woman coldly.

There is another thing Sam noticed.

Lucifer is in his winged form. He was surprised, but not too much.

Sam understood that the woman inside is the person that lucifer talked about. But he doesn't know if these people are hostile or not.

The door closed within that short interval and the formation on it seed to have increased in intensity.

Sam thought for a mont and decided to just barge in. If they are hostile he could kill them, if they are not he could see if he could use them. After all, none of them is stronger than him in terms of cultivation level.

Which ans all of them are weaklings.

He disappeared from the spot and reappeared at the stone door.

The four guards that ca out and are looking around in frenzy noticed this.

Sam looked at them calmly while extending his hand to the door.

His spiritual energy spread across the door before he destabilized the formation as the guards ran toward him.

The explosion sent the guards flying away. They are injured and unconscious.

anwhile, Sam just walked through and looked at the three people inside.

The person who was standing on the side took out a sword and looked at Sam.

"Who the fuck are you?"

His words and eyes are laced with killing intent.

The man who was examining the woman suddenly stood up and yelled.

"You said, no one knows that this bitch is alive, that is why I ca to help you. Now, what is happening?"

"Even I don't know who it is. I will deal with him. You get back to working on healing her. That whore is of no use to us if she isn't healed."

Sam sighed as he looked at them.

Just from that one exchange, he understood what is happening. These people are definitely not friendly.

He can just kill them. Things are a lot simpler now.
