Magman clan’s leader used his divine energy to create a shield and compress the explosion to the best of his ability.

But to his dismay, his brother is already effected.

After so effort, he finally managed to negate the explosion. He ran to his brother to see if he is okay. Right now, the first elder’s body is corroded with the fire elental energy. It is very hard for soone to do that to a cultivator at Peak of Astral Plane.

Divine energy is indeed a lot more dangerous for people below Divine Plane.

He called for so guards.

The guards that spotted the area managed to capture a little part of the video and they showed it to Kumar.

When he saw that video, he was stunned for a momt.

Sam looked like he is fighting sothing there. He is hurt a bit. He looked frustrated and exhausted. But there is nothing in front of him.

The only reason the guards even thought that it is a fight and not soone crazily swining their fists around is because they could see Sam being hit and flying around like crazy.

Kumar then took out the map and then marked all the spots Sam appeared at.

“He is approaching the city, from different directions and every ti he ca to a certain radius he is being stopped.” Kumar said to the father and son duo.

“So, he is indeed coming, are you saying that soone is stopping him from coming here?”

“Maybe. But if Sam really wants to enter the city, he has many ways to do so. He has enough ans to sneak into the city without alerting anyone.”

“Then why is he not using them?”

“My bet is that he cannot use them right now. Whatever it is that’s stopping Sam from entering the city physically, might also be sothing that is stopping him from using his usual thods.”

anwhile Kumar took this chance to go to the spot where the fight was being reported from. He saw Sam just running off after he got hit. But this ti, he is not just running as if soone is tailing him. He just ran off after seeing that soone is coming there.

“WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING HERE?” Kumar kicked a stone on the ground and scread in anger.

He saw in the sky where the lightning ball is falling down on to the city’s formation while the Clan leader is defending against it. It is not exactly taking a lot of effort for him. But it is just way too big of an explosion that is happening for a span of ti.

Kumar ran back once again and looked at the situation. He tried to keep everything in place to see if he can understand what is happening. The Clan leader ca back as well and he is also very much frustrated just like the rest.

“Soone is doing sothing and we don’t who and what.” He turned to Kumar and asked.

“What do you suggest? If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have gotten any idea that sothing like this is happening. What do you suggest we do?”

“These attacks that are happening. At least we are sure that Sam cannot get in. Think of a way to block the kid from being taken away by a person at your level, even if you are not beside the kid. If these attacks co again, you should be able to defend them.

I will try to get in touch with Sam and get so information. Who ever that is doing this, Sam must have so idea about them.”
