Flas blazed through.

They manifested into a large inferno with roaring noises and all of this is directed at the new clan leader that was just listening to the alarming arrangnts.

The full brunt attack hit him from the rear and he crashed into the house nearby.

Of course, the attack range is too big, the crashed building soon started burning down and started lting.

The clan leader that was explaining the situation to his new counterpart is shocked. He didn't expect such a scenario all of a sudden.

As the flas destroyed everything within their site for a brief mont, they died down.

The clan leader who got attacked ca out of the crashed and burn debris of the building and looked at his peer angrily.

"You better have a damn good explanation. What is the aning of this?"

"I don't know my friend. You must trust ."

"Shut the fuck up. Do you really think you are that trustworthy? How dare you guys try to sneak attack on ? Do you really think I am a pushover.?"

As he spoke, he took out a sword.

"Just listen…"

"Shut up, I am gonna fucking kill you."

"But.."

"I said shut the fuck up."

"BUT THE FLAS ARE UP YOUR ASS AGAIN."

*BOOM*

Another fla attack hit the newcor before he could even wield his sword. But as the flas died down and he completely got rid of them, he didn't even speak anything and jumped on the old tir clan leader with his sword.

Just like that, the battle started.

In a similar way, the other two newcor clan leaders were attacked just like that and they also dove into battle.

After all, they still held so slight suspicion when Clan leader 1 is so generous and easygoing. Going as far as inviting them to capture Sam.

But now as soon as they were attacked, they felt betrayed and fooled. So, they didn't bother listening to any more explanations and started fighting.

Clan leader 1 who just thought that the extra help and extre asure of destroying the city will help them catch easily, was dumbstruck as soon as the attacks ca in.

He rushed over to one of the spots and let his two friends go to the remaining two.

When he reached the spot he was rushing towards, he was dumbfounded by what he saw.

The two clan leaders are fighting crazily as they destroyed everything in their sight. They are so angry at each other to the point that they behaved like mortal enemies.

He imdiately wanted to go and stop the fight. But as soon as he took a step forward a sword ray shot out of nowhere and made him stop.

The sword ray is not aid at him though. It is aid at the newcor clan leader who is fighting crazily.

The sword left a deep gash on his back as he was already attacked there by his opponent. He turned around and all he saw is Clan leader 1 standing there.

"You bloody fuckers. How dare you take for a fool? I will not let this slide."

As he spoke, he imdiately used so of his trump card moves. He swung his sword and attacked both his opponent and the clan leader 1.

Both of them had to take the attack because of how fast it was and could only hope to defend it with all of their strength. Only after they managed to deflect it, they turned around to see the clan leader fleeing.

A similar thing happened in the other two areas. So, the three new clan leaders that just ca in 'escaped' from the 'trap' that was set up for them by Clan leader 1 and the rest of the clan leaders in the city.

And of course, when they are escaping, the formations around the city obviously ca in their way.

"They are going to break it."

Clan leader 1 Muttered under his breath as his expression turned ugly. He would very much like to stop them, unlock the formation, and make them leave the city. But he is sure as hell that these three wouldn't bother listening to one word of his, much less, stopping and letting him send them off.

As he watched, the formation was broken open and three of them fled in different directions.

Clan leader 1 sighed as he looked at the situation.

His thoughts ran rapidly and after a short while, he went to the center of the city and called up all the clan leaders.

anwhile, the alarm is still triggering constantly, but this ti, he didn't care.

"The city is rigged. There are so inscriptions or formations set up that started the attacks against the three clan leaders that just fled.

Sam is much more tricky to deal with than we initially thought. We need to be careful."

He paused a bit and then spoke.

"Lets evacuate the buildings near the clan grounds and when you are doing that investigate every single one of them. Don't bother about invading their privacy. Completely scan them from top to bottom.

Ask them to remove their disguises if they have any."

He paused and took out a communication token to send out a ssage to his subordinates. The subordinates ca out of the clan grounds and once again surrounded the city.

Then he activated so formations that were not used before.

"These are advanced spatial locks. All the spatial nodes within the city will be locked for a while, no matter what device, artifact, or formation he uses, without the node access, they will not be able to travel using space. But this formation is temporary. So, we need to finish this off quickly.

So, I will order my clan mbers to do the sa search for the people that are already inside.

I will find this guy and personally kill him myself."

Clan leader 1 obviously beca enraged. Rightfully so. After all, Sam just beat him at his own ga.

Clan leader 1 originally thought that he would be able to capture Sam with his strategic mind rather than his strength. In his opinion, in this particular scenario, his strength is an added variable that helps him positively.

He strongly believed that his tactics would have been enough.

But too bad, he is facing Sam."

While the clan leader locked the space, the alarms finally stopped triggering.

At this mont, Sam is speaking to Maya in a very impressed tone.

"This guy beca decisive. He is searching for every single person in the city and he doesn't care about damage or reputation anymore. He even locked the space nodes. He is placing all of his cards on the table."

Maya looked at him and didn't know what to even say.

Sam looked at her and smiled.

"No matter where we are in the city, he would be able to find us with this approach.

Too bad for him though. We are not in the city anymore."

He chuckled as he plucked a fruit off of the tree that he is sitting next to.

Currently, Sam is sitting along with Maya and the kids in the nearby woods and he is looking at the whole scenario played out in the city through the crystal table.

As soon as the three clan leaders broke the formations around the city, he left with Maya and the kids. From the clan since the start, he already understood how this Clan leader 1 behaves. He is smart and calculative and just by what is revealed, there is no way, this guy is going to let Sam stay hidden after that.

He is going to try his best to get Sam out no matter the cost and just like how Sam assud he did exactly the sa.

He escaped and now he is watching the show relaxedly.

"Are you sure we should stay here? Don't you think it is a bit dangerous? There are too many clan leaders around."

"Don't worry about it. We still have one move left to make and after we make it, let's go and get so of your children. Two of them if possible."

"In fact, we can even gun for three."

Maya looked at him incredulously. Sam just smiled and waited.

"Just wait for a while. There should be soone coming back to this city."

"Coming back? We are waiting for soone?"

"Yeah, the three clan leaders that just left. They are going to co back with so reinforcents.

If my guess is not wrong, the news about her location would have been revealed to every other clan leader out of this city and a lot of them might be making their way here upon being prompted by three guys.
