Chapter 1854 Ready for War
The next day.
Forest City.
Green Bamboo faction.
The faction leader looked at the new report of all her factions mbers' performance. She had a wide grin on her face.
"It seems like we are doing great everywhere. I think it is about ti we call them back and start advancing on the shorefront. Once we get the sea coast back, we will have a great contribution under our belts."
"That plan seems feasible. But what do you think we should say when the Solar Sect asks for a reason? The very fact that they tried to divide all of our forces and sent them to different places screams that they are trying to prevent this."
"I have a plan.
I got in touch with an elder from the Solar Sect. His faction obviously had many juniors and even though he had a great position within the sect, his juniors are not that good.
If we can make a deal with him, we might be able to get our mbers back to this place.
From the reports out of all the seven factions, our green bamboo obviously had better results on the front lines, so we need to capture that lead. If only the green bamboo faction solely manages to send the White Sand Guard away, imagine the level of contribution we will have.
That could be the first step of breaking away from the Seven Star alliance and becoming our own power. Green Bamboo Sect. My dreams finally have a chance of coming true."
The faction leader was lost in her thoughts as desire burned in her eyes.
At this mont, her communication token rang as she got a ping from the tower. It is about a spatial transference and to her surprise the location is actually the tower itself.
She hurriedly ran over and by the ti she reached there, there are already a bunch of people gathered around.
At the entrance of the tower, there is a heap of fruits. All of them of the wood elents and on top of that heap, there is one large fruit glistening with divine energy.
As soon as the faction leader's eyes landed on those fruits, her heart started racing. She imdiately reached out to check that fruit and when she touched it a series of images flashed in her head along with a voice.
It is of Sam.
Sam is standing as he looked into the horizon and he relayed a ssage.
"I managed to cultivate these with great effort and they ca at a price that even I cannot scoff at. But I believe they would be put to good use by you and you can use them to reach new heights in this war."
The ssage was over and the faction leader felt like her heart almost stopped with excitent. She has never been so overwheld with joy.
She imdiately stored the fruits away and left the tower. She went back to her private office and only her closest and most trustworthy confidant was allowed to enter.
She placed the heap of fruits on the table. A lot of them fell off as the table is not big enough. She looked at them and then at her confidant.
She held one of the fruits in her hands and used her spiritual sense to check them.
"We need to speed up the process. Imdiately.
Call for all of our faction mbers. We need to use these fruits and distribute to our factions before the Solar Sect tries to take away all of them."
"But, don't you think the Solar sect will retaliate if we use all of them by ourselves, particularly when we don't inform them? They could even use that as an excuse to deal with us."
The faction leader fell into deep thought and said.
"Let contact that elder. I will use him as a shield. If I voluntarily give a piece of this pie to him, then he should help us fend off the rest of the sect.
Also, contact our spies in other factions. We need to spread the rumors about these fruits as soon as possible. The rumors should be saying that the other factions got a higher number of fruits. You know what to do right? I don't need to spell it out for you."
"Yes, leader. I will do as you instructed."
Things moved fast.
The faction leader personally called one faction mber after another and started distributing the fruits based on their level. She put out a share separately for the solar sect's elder and called him to co hurriedly.
The solar sect head ca the sa day and when he heard the deal proposed by the faction leader he readily agreed. He didn't even ask for a better price or try to sound out what kind of gains the faction leader has since she is willing to give up so much.
Even the faction leader felt that sothing is very odd, but that guy only gave out one reason as he sensed her doubt.
"This is an investnt. There is a reason why those envoys are favoring you and I want to cooperate with the chosen ones of the god. I believe in the long term I won't lose out."
Basically, he is also brainwashed by Sam's bullshit.
leader made sure that everyone got at least one round of training within the tower.
The troops are being rallied.
Now the elder went back to the solar sect the sa day and by night he created a ruckus. The faction leader doesn't know what he did exactly, but all of their mbers were sent back imdiately and the Green Bamboo faction even got a subtle order to 'scout' the shores.
Basically, they are given a green light to take so action and who knows, there might be so trouble when 'scouting' and it might just dissolve into an all-out war.
That is what she wanted.
By the next evening, all the Green Bamboo faction mbers are gathered and the fruits Sam sent are actually pretty much enough for all the core mbers of the faction. Apart from that the faction leader made sure that everyone got at least one round of training within the tower.
The troops are being rallied.
After a couple of days, the green bamboo faction decided to make its move.
While they are doing this, the remaining factions are not really staying idle. They had their own plans. Two of them did the sa thing as the Green Bamboo faction. They tied up with a different elder in the solar sect and managed to gather their forces to distribute the force.
One of them was caught in the trap of solar sect, but the faction leader used the benefits to sell himself out and get a Junior elder position within the sect. So, now the seven-star alliance is down to a six-star alliance.
The solar sect managed to squeeze in so more benefits from the remaining factions.
The whole of the Seven-star alliance didn't fight for almost seven days, but they are more chaotic than any battlefield could ever be and they decided to raise more chaos after these seven days.
On the eighth day, the green bamboo faction was ready to attack and the faction leader is wearing her armor and started discussing the battle plan.
At this mont, Sam also returned to the city.
When he t the captain, he asked about the situation and he was relieved that their plan actually worked.
Sam is the official interim commander of this front and he can order around the troops as much as he wanted.
Sam nodded in satisfaction and went to the room he set up. anwhile. The news of his arrival already reached a bunch of other big wigs in the camp and they all sward to his room to get an audience with him. But they were all blocked away by the rest of the captain.
Sam didn't care about them, instead, he looked at the large network of orbs in the room. Right now the orbs are not neutral-white colored anymore. Instead, they are all of different colors. So of them are green, so are red and so are blue. There are a bunch of colors and the whole room looked like so kind of weird fungus is spreading crazily.
He looked at this and smirked.
Only after inspecting everything did he co out.
He looked at all the commanders and captains waiting for him and then Sam said.
"We are going to attack the Green Bamboo faction. We are taking down the forest city by tomorrow. You can kill everyone except for the Divine Plane Initiation cultivators in the initial stage."
Everyone is dumbfounded. They all looked at Sam as if he was an idiot and when soone was about to oppose, Sam raised his hand and said.
"I am not going to explain too much. I already made so preparations so that you will have a better idea of what is about to happen. So, just take a look at these crystal tablets and you will understand what the current situation of the faction is."
With that Sam passed a bunch of crystal tablets while he went back to the room.
The tablets automatically activated and they all saw a bird's eye view of the forest city. All the troops of the green bamboo faction are currently stationed there and then there is the view of all the towns around.
The troops are stationed there too.
The forest city and green bamboo faction are all ready for the war.
