Lycans reached the area over the formations.
The humans got ready to attack. Everyone is levitating. No one is fighting from the ground.
The low-level lycans just ran towards the formation and they are maniacally attacking the formation. Sam went to the south side this ti. The place where Jate is fighting.
That is the place where the fewer Initial Stage Divine Plane Initiation cultivators from the human side are present. Sam himself took the position of dealing with these guys as well as the Middle stage Divine Plane Initiation Lycan he was assigned to.
Sam took out the reaper sword and took off the Harbinger as he set out. His first focus was on the first line of attackers. With a swing of his sword, he made heads roll. The dead lycans fell into the air.
And the next second, the Lycans were stunned.
Because the deadbodies that fell started disappearing slowly. It is almost like they are dissolving into the ground.
Sam didn't hesitate to take the change and started attacking the Lycans.
After creating a small bracket of space within their offensive line, he activated partial fire elental fusion and blasted off a bunch of Lycans.
This ti, he didn't use the sa intensity as he did before on the west side, but it has enough to make them fall down from their levitation. He didn't even kill them directly he only made them fall down into the formation.
Now the Lycans saw even these people got 'dissolved' into the ground.
After making the first batch go down, he shifted his attention to the Middle Stage Lycan he was assigned to.
"Just how fucking arrogant are you to fight against a Lycan above your level? I will drink your blood for this offense."
The Lycan snarled coldly and made a move against Sam.
Sam's fusion form changed. He let the harbinger go and activated wind elental fusion as he got the wings out.
The Lycan that ca at him was t with a myriad of wind blades with every flap of Sam's wings.
Lycan activated his own fusion form. The fire elental fusion and he tried to use the blasts of fire to change is trajectory rapidly to deal with Sam.
Just like that, a chase ensued in the sky. Sam agilely maneuvered in the sky as he threw the wind blades around. The wind blades are not exactly large or lethal. Even the concentrated energy is not that high. But the wind blades are nurous.
In every second, over a dozen wind blades are coming off of the wings.
The Lycan looked like a burning teorite as he tried to catch Sam. But the barrage of wind blades are making him go crazy.
Sam looked at his opponent in amusent. This guy is obviously very skilled in aerial battles. This is definitely not his first ti.
As this thought crossed his mind, he wanted to test sothing.
He stopped in his tracks all of a sudden and both of his winds started glowing and two large wind blades were launched at the guy while Sam also moved along with them.
The Lycan used his fists to block the wind blades and deflected them. But the energy is too high and the wind blades gave him a sense of danger. He was pushed back and Sam is already near him.
Sam made a grand move as he closed on, the wings gave out a loud gust creating a tornado there for a mont and when he was about to complete the rotation, the wings closed off. By now he sneaked from under as the Lycan lost his balance started rotating along with the wind.
And he saw Sam's palm coming at his face.
The palm was like a knife as wind energy surged chaotically.
*BOOM*
A large fiery explosion happened in the sky as he tried to dodge.
When the flas cleared off, Sam is floating in the air and the Lycan was backed off several feet. He lost his fusion form and there is a large gash on his face that extended towards his chest. He bled profusely.
He looked at Sam with gritted teeth.
"Fucking Bastard."
Sam raised his eyebrow and said.
"I would have played along dude. You should have kept your mouth shut. Now you have gone and done it."
Sam activated full wind elental fusion and he disappeared in a flash. The Lycan also activated the fire elental fusion and he threw a giant jet of flas towards Sam.
Sam made a twisting movent in the air and the jet of flas seed to have been enveloped by the wind and their direction changed completely before they dispersed.
Before the Lycan could realize what happened, he is stuck in a tornado.
The wind grew so chaotic that soon the fire elental fusoon of the Lycan was gone completely.
It disappeared and he started losing control of himself. The wind turned sharper and sharper and it beca a bit abrasive. With every rotation of the tornado, a layer of flesh is being chipped off of the Lycan.
The fur is gone, the fleece is gone, the upper layer of the skin is gone and soon blood ca out. With every second a layer of the claws is being shaved off. Soon, the eyes, nose and ears are gone.
He wanted to scream to the heavens so that he could die and this pain would go away.
But he could. He couldn't even breath much less speak out.
All he could do is incomprehensible noises.
Sam looked at the tornado from outside as he controlled it with his hands. He moved the tornado to the middle of the Lycan army and soon he started using his resonance and amplification technique.
The energy in the surroundings started resonating and four more tornados appeared. The Lycans were terrified as the low-level cultivators started getting into the tornados. The tornados turned bloody. Blood mist rotated along with the won and everyone who witnessed was terrified beyond words.
Whether it is the Initial stage Lycans that got caught in the tornado, or when the middle stage Lycans who were lucky enough to not get caught in the tornado and the late-stage ones that are far away from them.
They are all terrified. And more terrifying than the tornados is facial expression of Sam, which looked emotionless.
With his hand extended he took hundreds of lives without a flinch and didn't even leave a bone behind.
If only they had seen what Sam had done on West side, they would have been less surprised. After all, massacring is not a new concept for Sam.
Just like that, the attack on the formation on the south side are gone in an instant.
Jate suddenly grinned after he ca out of the daze. The tornados are powerful and Late Stage cultivators would also have a tough ti getting out of them. They wouldn't die and they wouldn't be critically hard, but they would have lost so balance.
The Late Stage cultivator on the south side had to go and disrupt these tornados to save his army and this disrupted their original pincer attack.
Jate took this chance and didn't hold back. He went to the East Side and where another Late Stage Lycan is waiting to make a move and slayed him with a single move.
The war took a turn just like that.
Sam went back into the city after he finished his massacre. He tapped his face and tried to calm down. He is definitely not as explosive as before when soone called him a bastard, but he did beco a lot colder.
He doesn't know if it is a good thing or a bad thing.
Because previously once that explosive anger ca, he wouldn't be as smart, he would just go on a crazy maniacal spree. This leaves a lot of openings and he can only maintain that state before his logic and reason kicks in.
But now, there is no such rage bout. His insane anger and the sane intellect are rging together and he has feeling that it might create more destruction that if he just went on a maniac episode.
He looked at the battlefield and sighed. He just hoped that the world wouldn't give him more chances to test the theory. It would be too harmful for this world. It wouldn't if it knows any better.
Sam took a step back after that attack.
No soldier on human side objected or asked anything more off of him.
Particularly, when they saw the true might and the purpose of the formation pillars in a very short while.
If what Sam did made the fear for their life. Then what these formations made them have nightmares for the rest of their lives. Many of them vowed that they would never ever go against anyone who practices soul necromancy.
