Watt took down two of the opponents from Thor Academy.
Sam took down two. Now there are only two left from that Academy. Thor and another guy who is watching over the first opponent to save him. Sam is actually a bit surprised that out of ten people from Norse region there are six people from Thor Academy and three people from Hel Academy.
Only person made it in from the other academies and ironically he is also working for Thor.
Sam kind of guessed that Thor must have pulled sa bullshit like Pearl did. However, Sam was there in Olympian region to destroy her plans, and here Thor succeeded. And that success is not going to last long because Sam is now going to take it out on them bit by bit.
Watt left the three heavily injured Thor Academy students in that forest before making his move.
His job is done there, now he can go and find new prey.
At this mont, Thor is running after Sam's trail to see if he could find him. Tough luck, he couldn't. He could feel that Sam is very close, but he was unable to reach him and catch up to him.
Soon, the rest of the allies he made also started searching the surroundings.
What they all don't know is that Sam is watching them from the top of the largest tree in the vicinity. He activated wood fusion and rged with tree and watched as they moved around searching for him. They occupied the whole area.
Even if Sam uses the space elent now, they might be able to roughly estimate the direction he was moving in.
He is a bit impressed by their efficiency, but he also pitied their stupidity.
In the guise of searching in a larger area, they spread themselves thing. Now only duos are moving and started keenly searching the surroundings and this is a great situation for Sam. It makes things easier for him.
He took out his rifle and shot at a certain location. The bullet whistled through the air.
At the sa mont, a thousand ters or so away from Sam's location, two people are looking around for Sam.
One of them belongs to Hel Academy and the other one belongs to Hou Yi's Academy. They looked pretty bored.
"Fuck this. I don't want to do this anymore. This guy is like a slippery eel. I am getting tired of this."
The guy from Hou Yi Academy expressed his displeasure.
The student from Hel Academy is setting up a trap formation for anyone that might cross this path. Sam or otherwise, this is a competition after all. Just as she was about to finish the formation, they sensed sothing coming towards them.
The bullet ca toward them and both of them dodged to either side.
*BOOM*
They barely managed to escape from the bullet. Even the trap formation they set up was destroyed.
"What the fuck is that?"
Both of them looked in the direction the bullet ca from. The explosion alerted a lot of people around. Sam had to change the locations. He imdiately ca out of the tree and flew away as he stepped on the wind with partial fusion and once again disappeared into the thick and lush forests.
Everyone started moving that particular direction, even the two people who were attacked by Sam wanted to do the sa.
However when they just moved a few ters, a sword slash appeared out of nowhere.
*THUD*
A line of trees fell down with a single slash which was followed by the swordsman who made it. Jack ca with the Black teorite Sword in his hands.
Unlike Watt, Jack didn't bother speaking any nonsense. He went into action imdiately.
Sam who was on the run, took a high position once again and aid his rifle in a different direction. This ti he shot down one of the opponents out of a three man group. The remaining two stopped in their tracks for a mont and were a bit nervous.
At that mont…
*BOOM*
A massive explosion of flas happened.
Five Elental King gave a flashy entrance and jumped in between the two of them.
In a different spot. Another gun shot. Philip went after two candidates. Unlike Jack and the rest, he took up an annoying tactic. He didn't even bother with showing face. Instead, the fiery tal projectiles started raining down on the opponents out of nowhere and suppressed them completely.
The spectators watched this from outside and felt that sothing is odd.
If not for the fact that the timing is too perfect, they could have brushed this off as a series of coincidences. Sam is shooting soone from far away while luring the people to his direction. Wherever his shot landed soone is reaching there and are dealing with the people that are already there.
The Elders started slling so conspiracy, but of course, soone just took the most ordinary theory into consideration. They believed that since soone was attacking a spot, the nearest person decided to go there and reap the rewards.
But so believed that Sam might have allied with the others from the Olympian region, since the people that were attacking were only from the Olympian Region and the rest of the people were being targeted.
This caused a lot of discussion among the Elders.
But there is nothing against making alliances. Thor Academy has led a bigger alliance with students from all the regions.
The only ones they didn't include is the Olympian Region. So, if Sam managed to buy the Olympian region, then they couldn't do anything about it.
Thor who is running at the forefront realizes that sothing is wrong. Whenever Sam is aiming at a point, he is only aiming once. He is not following up and he is not even going in that direction to take the prey.
This made him feel nervous.
After the fifth hit that Sam made, he finally decided to stand still for a second. He took out the communication tokens and contacted everyone he could to co and gather.
They gathered within a few minutes and he made them contact all of their teammates. He could see the visible change in everyone's expressions as they made one call after another.
"I couldn't contact the rest of my teammates."
The Hel Academy representative, Zaara said in a worry.
The others also had similar responses. Apart from the people that are there, the rest of them are not available to contact.
"We need to go back and take a look. Sothing is off."
"Shall we split up?"
One of them suggested.
"No. No, we are not splitting up. We need to be together. Sothing is wrong. I can feel it. We will move…"
Before he could finish, he felt sothing coming from behind and dodged to the side.
*BOOM*
The bullet landed exactly where he stood and exploded. Sam clicked his tongue. He didn't really like missing the shot like this. But he realized that the more powerful the cultivation level is raising to, the harder it is for the guns to keep working as efficiently as before.
Unless he used a large amount of divine energy and used that explosion as the source of energy for the propulsion, it would be hard for him to deal with this. Anyway, he could think about it later.
Now it is ti to conclude this shit.
He aid the rifle and started shooting at the sa spot multiple tis.
Around five to six shots later, Sam's friends understood what he wanted. Except for Vidyut, who is tagging with White at the mont, the rest of the team made their way to this spot. Since Thor is so into making alliances and taking soone out of his way, Sam used the sa.
Within no ti, Watt, Philip, Jack, and the rest of the team already arrived at the spot and they surrounded Thor and what was left of his team. Sam was about to go there and finish the fight, but the next mont, he had to turn around and throw a kick.
*BOOM*
His leg t with the kick of White and the recoil sent Sam flying. He put the rifle away and regained his balance. His leg trembled a bit. That is a perfect kick. If he really took it to his head, he would have been in a state of confusion for a few seconds at least.
Sam hovered in the air and looked at White Cautiously.
"Co on, do you really want to do this now?"
"I cannot let you be. Now there are no arena border restrictions, so this would be a proper fight."
"Nah, I don't think so."
White frowned at Sam's laid-back attitude.
"You know, since there are no boundaries, I just walk away."
Wind elental fusion activated and wings ca on Sam's back. He zood towards the spot where the groups were confronting, he cannot miss it now.
As for dealing with White, once the top sixteen are set and they are in the actual tournant. He has all the ti in the world.
At this mont, Thor is leading the group as they try to attack Sam's team, but to his shock these people who were supposed to not know each other that much, at least according to his knowledge, are a perfect team.
But still, Thor's team has more numbers and he wanted to take advantage of it. He knew that he is fucked and he cannot afford to not get into the top 16.
So, he has to find a way out of this.
