It is just an hour away from the closing of the second pocket dinsion. Sam is standing in an empty patch of the land along with the rest of the players.
However, they were not staring at each other, instead all of their focus was locked on one person who stood at the other end of the patch.
It is the sa young man who stole the first legacy inheritance. At least that is what he is known as for Dayus, who recognized him instantly.
"Hand over the legacy inheritance and surrender. Or I will fucking kill you." Dayus scread on top of his lungs as he looked the young man. The young man didn't reply, he just looked at the players with a smirk.

White ca running to the patch and stood beside Dayus.
"He is the one?" He asked, but no one felt the need to answer. White looked around to spot Sam who stood there with a straight face. He had his hands crossed across his chest. It almost looked like he isn't worried about this scenario.
If only White knew how true it is.
The other party that stood there is none other than Kiran. He just employed his disguise technique, that is all. He is acting as the representative of the flaming skulls to attract as much focus as possible. "Do you think you can escape with the legacy inheritance that easily? The seniors of Zeus Academy are waiting outside and we already have your energy signature. Even if you escape us in the grey area, you will be easily spotted by the elders and instructors of our academy.
You can fool us with your energy signature because we are of sa level, but do you think those with such higher level strength will also be fooled?"
White spoke as he locked his eyes with Kiran.
Kiran didn't answer for a mont. He stayed silent with that smirk. Dayus and White's Duo kept on threatening him.
"Shut the fuck up."
All of a sudden Sam spoke up. He looked at the two of them and continued.
"Can you guys stop and think for a mont? Do you know how pathetic you look with all those threats? If that guy can steal the information from the heart of Zeus Academy, do you really think he cannot estimate what you can fucking do?
Just stop insulting his intelligence.
If you want to attack, do it. If you don't want to and just want to sit back and wait. Then Wait. If I hear one more peep of threat out of your mouths, I will fucking kill you guys myself."
His voice was cold and harsh. He acted like he was fed up with all the empty threat bullshit.
"YOU…."
White's aura raged and he looked at Sam. He wanted to jump at Sam imdiately.
Even before Sam could reply. Dayus pulled White back.
"He is the last person to piss off in this type of situation. Reign in your temper. Let's focus on him."
He turned to Kiran and imdiately lunged forward. He swung his spear at Kiran hoping to catch him by surprise. White also hit the ground with the recoil shot and dashed forward.
Kiran started running. As he moved forward, he took out a few small spheres and dropped them in the path of Dayus and White.
*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
Explosions hindered the two and then only they realized that the other players are following them and in that small gap, they already overtook them. Sam was in the lead. Whenever Kiran dropped a sphere, Sam would skillfully hit it with his spear.
The sphere would fly over and 'coincidentally' land in the path of the players. Mostly in the path of Dayus and White.
Of course, the players are not stupid enough to assu that it was purely a coincidence. They understood that Sam is hindering them and they couldn't do much about it. It is a competition after all.
The chase intensified with every passing second.
But there was no progress. One hour later.
Sam almost closed the distance between him and Kiran. He almost caught the guy and the other players also believed that it is a done deal. However, at that exact mont…
They all felt a force pull them away and they landed in the grey space awaiting the evaluation with the rest of the students.
"FUCK.. FUCK FUCK."
Dayus scread at the top of his lungs swinging his spear wildly. White rushed towards Sam and held him by his collar. Imrse Yourself in the Storyverse: N♡vεlB¡n.
"Its all because of you. You sick bastard. If you weren't so focused on hindering our advance, we could have caught up with him. I have enough reason to suspect that you might even collaborating with the Flaming skulls."
Sam took a deep breath and looked at him with a death gaze.
"Let him go." Dayus ca and forced White's hand off of Sam.
"I already told you not make an enemy out of him now. Do you have no better thing to do? If you are so excited to pick a fight, go and find the flaming skulls."
Dayus yelled at White.
He looked at Sam's cold gaze and had a bad feeling. If Sam just scread and yelled, then it would be much easier for him. Things wouldn't be too complicated. But Sam stayed calm. It is enough to raise alarm bells in his head.
He just hoped that nothing serious happens.
The evaluation was done. Dayus and White waited patiently. They are sure that their instructors will catch whoever that person is based on the energy signatures they collected. However, when they ca out, they were stunned by what they saw.
Or rather, they were stunned by what they couldn't see. They were expecting the presence of a bunch of their elders and instructors, but most of them were not even there.
Only so low level instructors were left behind.
The approached the students of Zeus Academy and said.
"Hurry up. Let's go. Another pocket dinsion opened. You need to be there."
They didn't even explain the situation clearly before they dragged the group away.
Soon, everyone is gathered around the revived pocket dinsion. The tir is showing just five more minutes for the opening of the dinsion.
The players and other students who just ca out of the second pocket dinsion learned the news of this from the other students. Five minutes passed quickly and everyone sward into this. Only after that did the instructors and elders outside began to talk about the legacy inheritance.
When they heard that the flaming skulls snatched the second one too, everyone beca angry. But all of their combined cannot be on par with Dean of Zeus Academy's anger. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists.
His body trembled in range.
Not a single thing has been going well for him until now. Not a single thing went according to his plan and he finally lost his cool.
He wanted to bash the shit out of everyone that so much as looked wrong in his eyes. He imdiately called for his elders.
"Create a blockade out of this pocket dinsion. Tell every instructor, elder and student to move. Call back everyone that went out on a mission. Share the energy signature of the kids to every one of them. I want to see how the flaming skulls will escape this ti."
He didn't hide or whisper his orders. In fact he was very loud and he let everyone at the location hear him.
However, the rest of the stayed unnaturally silent. Not letting their thoughts known. They didn't even resist one bit.
In fact, most of them welcod such an action from the Dean. Since the legacy inheritances were in the hands of so unknown entity, they were unable to take any serious actions. Even if they wanted to direct their strength, they didn't know where they should target it.
However, if Dean succeeds in capturing and acquiring these inheritances, then they can finally pressure him. Since they already know the strength of the Zeus Academy, they also know which buttons to press and which levers to push.
That day, the Zeus Academy's force was moved. The energy signatures were shared and they started searching every single First grade level cultivator within the city.
The city gates were blocked and no one was allowed to leave the city without the permission of the Zeus academy.
While the city ca to a standstill because of Zeus Academy's sudden actions, sothing else is happening inside the revived pocket dinsion.
When the tir ca to zero and everyone entered, a spatial formation was triggered sending them to different spots within the Pocket dinsion. When they arrived, they were all trapped inside a formation.
The formation is also created with using the trees and rocks as nodes. They were using purely wood and earth elental energies.
They also got a set of instructions from the chanical voice. They all need to travel towards the peak of the mountain where the blue sphere under the golden do was placed. That is their final reward.
They need to crack the formations, fight the obstacles, fight each other and finally reach the peak.
That is their task.
At least, that is what they were told. What they don't know is Sam who is also in the pocket dinsion is the one deciding who encounters what obstacles and who has to fight which opponent.
In the end, he is the one going to decide who wins the biggest prizes in this pocket dinsion.
