Whether they are the cavalry or not, the few dozen centaurs are all emitting an aura of destruction and death.

Explosions rang as the beams were still being shot from the do.

They wielded their swords blocking every single attack that is coming their way. As the black mist completely disappeared, it is apparent that their speed has been reduced by a large margin. However, their attack was still as sharp and precise.
Icarus looked at them and frowned.
From all the way there, with the help of the Hub, he could sense the cultivation level of these centaurs. It should be considered a weird state to say the least. They are clearly emitting an aura that is of Peak of Divine Plane Transcendence.
But their strength and even the quality of that black-colored spiritual energy they are emitting is of Divine Plane Consummate stage initiation.
Icarus can understand why their strength is much higher. Many people can attain strength beyond their cultivation.
But the quality of energy shouldn't and beco different no matter what as long as the person is alive.
He paused and looked at the centaurs once again closely.
"Are they undead?"
He muttered out loud, the question wasn't ant for anyone else. It was just for himself, however he heard a voice that he is kind of familiar with at that mont.

Along with the voice a small screen appeared in front of them. It showed the image of the centaur along with a bunch of text that accurately described what these centaurs are.
All the information it gave ca from the database Sam collected.
He did prepare well when he left this place. Even including these kinds of features, but he forgot to inform Icarus of all these details. It could have made him feel at ease.
As he wondered, the screen revealed more and ore information.
[The Centaurs in the yard are genetically modified. Their cultivation is the sa, but their strength is indeed different. It is genetically enhanced. Their cultivation was forced to enter that level. The shadow affinity was also forcefully enhanced and amplified.

The screen changed and it started showing a bunch of information.

There are different thods all nad and the columns showed the steps followed in each thod. The final column showed the probability of completely annihilating the crisis of the Shadow Cavalry.
The team looked at these things. Icarus was shocked, but the rest were more or less able to accept it. Sam did really invest a lot in this.
When he was still in Mortal Plane, as a Grand realm cultivator he was already fighting with Transcendent cultivators using the formations of a city.
With all the research progress he made and the new thods he discovered, it should be a given that he managed to create so many thods.
Icarus looked through the table and his eyes landed on one that looked most unbelievable.
The thod was called 'Infinite Bombardnt'
The probability of destroying the cavalry before it could even reach the doors of the Hub is 99%.
The only drawback for that is so property damage which would be automatically recovered in a few days.
He wanted to call bullshit on it as soon as he read it. However, he really wanted to see how it will work.

He asked the rest for their opinion. They just shrugged. He pursed his lips and clicking on it.

The feminine chanical voice gave out the announcent. The do that was shooting out the laser beams suddenly stopped. The next mont, the pillars that shot out to create the Light soul formation were also retracted.
The vision is back for the outsiders, albeit still blurry. The cavalry is confused by the sudden change.
But they didn't have a long ti to revel in that confusion, because they were greeted by the shock next.
*CLUTCH* *KEEN* *HMM* *BANG*
Various tallic sounds spread from all over the compound. Multiple turrets of various sizes, blasters, guns all of different sizes, lengths, and lethality.
They all grew out of the ground, the wall of the gate of the hub and even the walls of the building itself. There are hundreds of them if not a thousand or more.
And that is not all. From the roof of the hub several spheres shot out and hovered all over the compound in the sky. They were all glowing with different elental energies.
The cavalry felt a bad feeling creeping up their hearts. They imdiately took control over their black mist once again and tried to turn ethereal. But at that mont.
*BOOM*
A gun that was on the wall of the hub's building shot out. It's bullet was around five inches long. There are over a thousand runes engraved on its surface as it glowed brighter with every passing centiter.
As it reached close to the centaur nearest to it, the bullet transford. It exploded and turned into a fire ball and it is not just an ordinary fire ball. Everyone inside the hub and also the centaurs could feel that the fire ball is of at least Divine Plane Transcendent level. At least late stage.
Alarm bells rang in the centaur's head. He hurriedly blocked the attack with his sword.
*BOOM*
The explosion was defended, but not completely. He was blown back because of the shock. *BANG*
Another bullet from a different gun. It was aid at another centaur. When the attack was near the centaur, it exploded into an ice spear of similar level as the fire ball.
*RATATATATATATATATATA….*
Then began the rapid fire. Bullet after bullet. They rained over the centaurs that are spread out.
*SWOOSH* *BOOM* *BANG*
The bullets turned to various attack spells as they neared the targets. So are basic spells like fire ball and ice spear. The only trouble with them is the sheer energy injected into that attack.
But there are complex spells as well. Like the phoenix charge. A fire elental spell that shoots a consecutive stream of six attacks. All six attacks are conjured phoenixes. They are conjured purely out of fire.
They can be controlled by the wielder for a few minutes before they explode with utmost damage.
Right now, a turret that has six barrels is firing Phoenix charges at a regulated pace.
The cavalry soon noticed that they were being overwheld by just the sheer number. There is no technique, there is no restraining formation, nothing. They are just facing a lot of the attacks all of the different kinds.
And since the start of the attacks, they are unable to bring their mist back and rge with it. Their physical body is being attacked in this small gap.
*BOOM* *BOOM*
The attacks continued. The surroundings of the Hub are vibrating from the attacks and the force behind them. These tremors went as far as the city and the city center. They are that strong.
One of the centaurs dodged a few attacks and then ate the next few, all of it just to reduce a few guns into dust.
But as soon it broke a few weapons, the sphere in the air, floating over them, started vibrating. It opened up and a bunch of puppets flew out of it. They are all small bird puppets and they had inbuilt storage features as well as all the knowledge embedded in them
