The man who was waiting for him belongs to Yaksha Race. The sa ones that Sam encountered in his journey, but this man has a very high-grade bloodline among Yakshas. They are basically considered the assistants of Gods.
"A Yaksha. Haven't seen you guys in a while. So, what are those conditions that you want to talk about? And what is your na?"
"You can call the ssenger."
"Oh, you are part of that unit. This makes it easier. Out with it, let's just get this over with."
"Sir, the moves of the managers of the hub, as you might know are very sketchy. The Hub of our region has been completely taken over by our alliance of academies."
"Alright, I know that would happen. Get to the point."
"I am about to. The compromising video of you and Gungnir discussing a deal with Joker is out now. So, we don't really have too much trust in you. In fact, there are other rumors about you, your organization and the noble league.
So, I hope you can release our people in your region first. That is our main condition. Apart from that, we need complete details on the expedition that you planned under the guidance of that Joker…."
ssenger went on to explain the conditions.
Bloody Chariot listened in on with his fists clenched and jaws tightened. He wanted nothing more than to rip that throat off the ssenger.
But he held back.
He got his balls locked in a vice at the mont and the last thing he can do right now is act up. The Zeus academy is locked in such a critical phase right now…
He agreed to several of the conditions and with great effort managed to push so of them back with so negotiations. Only after that did he heave a sigh of exhaustion.
He went back to et with the elders.
"Start releasing those outsiders and call in for a lockdown after that. Only allow one exit and check every single one of them. If you find them remotely suspicious hold them down. Contact all the academies.
Make sure you get a ssage across.
Tell them that the zeus academy is on the edge and their spies won't co out if they don't admit to their identities. We will not shake them down, we will not ask them to reveal any information they might have collected until now.
They just need to admit their identity.
Anyone that cannot prove their own identity will be held here and they will be locked down completely.
They will not be allowed to leave."
The instructions were sent imdiately.
The eight managers started moving along with the crowd. They walked through the exit, they even managed to answer all the questions that were asked. They were prepared enough. So, smoothly they escaped the lockdown without arising any suspicions.
Once they left and entered deep into the forest without anyone noticing their presence, they had a eting. Their disguises disappeared and they are back to their normal forms.
"So, the next step of the plan. We need to get back in there."
"How many do you think we could do like this?" One of them asked the other.
"I don't know, until they actually realize the pattern in the killings that we are making. I am sure they will know, after we are done with the second academy. With bloody chariot there… that guy is very smart if not anything else."
"Let's get on with it. We already got the goods, didn't we?"
They all took out the special injections once again and injected themselves. This ti however, their bodies changed into a different set of people. And all of them took out the costus they prepared beforehand.
The costus re just uniforms of different academies.
"You all know the plan right. Go to marked spots, activate the special devices which we don't know how they work and then get back into the Olympian city.
And be sure that when you activate the device, you take care of your safety. Don't go within a few hundred feet of the device. If you do, you will take the heat that the Olympian city has to take."
Icarus announced and all of them moved.
They used their full speeds to reach their respective locations. There, in the middle of nowhere, each of them found a large tallic pillar. They didn't dare to step anywhere near a hundred feet of that pillar.
They looked at them from far away and took out their crystal tablets. At the sa ti, they also sent a bunch of tal puppet birds. The bird puppets circled around the tal pillar. Then the crystal tablet was activated.
They pressed a few combinations as per Sam's instructions. The birds activated and so did the pillar. It started glowing brightly. At least that is what the managers could see.
But what they couldn't see, hear or even feel is emitting from that pillar. It's a frequency of the sound that cultivators of most races would not even be able to listen. It is programd and created to only alert the beasts.
Sothing similar to a modern day dog whistle.
A very highly upgraded dog whistle that will make every beast go crazy with rage. The plan is created with the information Sam gained from his travelling around the realm. He used all his knowledge to find what kinds beasts are situated in what locations.
As he already learned before, there are a bunch of beasts transported to the academy realm by the gods, to not only test the students, but also the instructors and the Elders of the academies. He used the knowledge he gained and the locations of the beasts, before setting up these pillars carefully.
The managers looked at the pillar and the beasts in the surroundings that are gathering towards the pillar.
Ivar looked at the pillar he was watching and the beast that ca in at the last. The earth quaked a bit as the beast stepped forward.
"Oh boy. Bloody Chariot is going to have hell of a ti with this."
The beasts gathered at the pillar. The small fries didn't dare to touch the pillar for so reason and the big one imdiately slamd the pillar with its paws.
The next mont however.
The beasts imdiately beca silent. There is no sound whatsoever. It seed like the peace that ca with the absence of the pillar made them savor without any roars. The silence only lasted for a couple of monts though.
Because a few hundred feet away from the original location of the pillar, the earth started shaking a bit and opened to up to push another pillar out.
The frequency a bit higher and making the beasts crazier. All the beasts imdiately ran towards that location and destroyed that pillar, only to activate the next one a few more hundred feet away, in the direction of the academy.
"This will do. The beasts will be there to give us good enough distraction. Gotta go et up with the team."
Ivar muttered and left.
The situation is pretty similar in all the other locations as well. Everyone did the exact sa thing as him and started going to back to their eting point before heading to the academy realm. But they are not doing a normal entry, they are doing a special entry with the transference tokens.
Straight into the belly of the beast instead of doing it in a more roundabout way.
They t up one last ti before executing the next step.
'Here goes nothing'
That's the thought they all hand in their minds as they used the transference tokens at the sa ti. All of them disappeared and each of them reappeared in the space gates of the respective academies.
Not just them, while they are there they saw dozens of people of different grades appear at the space gates.
Sam's guess about the academies' behavior was right. He said that once the disaster strikes, the academies will call up their students to co back just in case.
Since the tensions are high, they need to keep an eye on all their loose ends. So, a lot of students either ca back to the academies or they moved to their secure bases and resource points. None of them are at the individual missions at least.
The managers are now inside the Academies. They made their way to the dormitories person, whose identity they are assuming at the mont. They didn't face any resistance as they went there. Now, all eight of them, who are stronger than any of the fourth grade students in the academies are mixed in the midst of them.
Ready to break the hell loose.
The best part about this plan? Not a single one of them entered the Zeus academy. They all targeted other Olympian academies only.
While this is happening, the elders of all the academies, including the Zeus academy are gathered at a single place. eting to make a critical decision.
