2253 Arrival
Ling Tian watched as the whole of the Olympian region plunged into chaos.
He saw battles moving all over the place. It was a good that there was curfew and a lot of people were not allowed to move around. Of course, so hidden commoners here and there are not exactly safe now.
But with such a large city as a battlefield and so many buildings, they could always find a place to hide and maybe get out of this with so luck.
The problem however is that sothing Ling Tian has yet to observe. Taking the chaos as an advantage, so people with ulterior motives are moving around. The most common goal… killing their info mule.
They are barging into academies and started killing their targets. In the hopes that the whole thing will be swept under the rug as the collateral damage of the chaos. The first graders who were usually considered as the backbone of the academies, since they are the ones who will evolve into the second, third and fourth graders are being slaughtered left and right.
All the damage Sam has done until now.
With the flaming skulls, the weekly paynt, the trial by combat and even using Stone… he killed so many first graders over the past few weeks.
Even with all the destruction he created, before the fourth graders were targeted and killed by the managers, the biggest damage he has actually done is to the first graders. Particularly to the Zeus academy.
Now, even more damage is happening.
Ling Tian looked at Wharton who is still surrounded by the Deans. They are the only ones left there apart from so stray elders.
Nian who already recovered, jumped into the fray with his halberd and so other elders.
Ling Tian noticed that he is not needed and turned around. Once again sitting with Sam in that room.
"You might not want to relax that much. A lot of people are killing their info mules at the mont."
Sam said all of a sudden. Ling Tian frowned and asked.
"Why are you saying this to ? Do you really want to use for another step of your grand plan? Give a break."
"Not really. This has nothing to do with the plan. I just want to know sothing and in return I might tell you sothing that you might want to know."
"What would that be?"
"White. The young man that has been on my back ever since I ca to the academy realm."
Ling Tian's body stiffened. He forgot about White. With all the chaos that is happening, he forgot about that guy. He also forgot that he revealed his relationship with White to Sam. There is no way Sam who is an information addict to not want to use this.
He was in fact a bit surprised that Sam didn't press further to know more about it.
Now that Sam asked, he had a bad feeling that this will not be sothing that he will like.
"I would like to know who White is and how is he related to you. Why is he targeting ?"
Sam asked calmly.
Ling Tian pursed his lips and asked.
"What were you planning on exchanging with for that?"
"You know, White is also a first grader and even though he didn't get the wrist band and the puppet at the start, he owns one set now. And he was also among the people who got injected with the mories.
He is an info mule."
Ling Tian clenched his fists.
"Did you reveal his information?" His face is glowing with anxiety. It couldn't be more clear that he scared of what might happen for White.
"No. Not yet at least. It depends on the information that you give ."
"Sam, are you really threatening ? I thought our relationship was better than this."
"It is, that is why I am not exactly threatening you here. I am telling you that I spared him by not giving his info to the person whose information he is carrying right now. I am doing you a favor by not killing that guy who is so dear to you.
But Ling Tian, you should know that you are the one who owes already.
You already asked for a favor regarding that guy. And I did it, regardless of his constant pestering. You know better than anyone how irritating I get with pests and how I usually deal with them.
I left him alone because I had bigger fish to fry.
But sooner or later he was going to die.
However, you interfered in the middle and you asked for a favor to relieve him of the coins. Either he knows that I own the hub and my relationship with you, or he just asked you for the coins without knowing that I own the hub.
He is close to you.
I would have treated him like any other first grader and made him an info mule. Even to a dangerous person. Like the info of a Dean or a grand elder. To make sure he definitely dies.

Ling Tian stayed silent and waited for Sam to continue. Although, he knew what Sam is going to ask next.
"You of all people know that I am not that generous. So, if you want to spare him, tell who he is, or I will treat him like any other guy."
Ling Tian slumped into himself. He is like a lazy and exhausted old man who doesn't want to deal with the world anymore.
"In the past few hours, you have made feel more and more helpless and exhausted.
Only Gambler made feel that way. You are the second one. Not even other gods did this to ."
"I will take that as a complint."
"To be honest, I would like to reveal it to you. But I need to confirm it with Gambler first.
You might have so guesses and I have a feeling that so of them are very close to the truth. However, the truth about him is not mine to reveal. As for my relationship with him, you can consider as his teacher.

Sam was about to say sothing. But at the mont, his senses scread. Not just his, even Ling Tian's senses scread just the sa. He hurriedly stood up and waved his hand.

The wall collapsed just at that mont. Ling Tian's hand wave created a shockwave that collided with so energy that ca at them.
The first grader were all blown away, but they were safe, nothing life threatening. Ling Tian kicked the ground and launched himself into the sky.

With another explosion, he knocked down another incoming attack. The attack was powerful and strong enough to kill a dozen elders at the sa ti. Even Sam who is now far away and completely protected from the attack was shaking in his boots.
It was primal fear, or rather his body's instinct warning him that it could kill him at any mont.

But the mont they were steered in the direction of the attacker, the puppet was destroyed, however, he managed to grasp a slight glimpse at the person or rather the people at that short mont.

Around half an hour ago.
When the chaos outside was at its highest, the whole region was in the flas of murder and slaughter. One of the space gates of the Zeus academy was activated.
From within two people ca. One of them is way too familiar a face for the people of the Zeus academy and the people who were trying to run for their lives imdiately knelt in front of him.
"Dean Heron, please save us. Please."
"Save us. They are trying to kill us."
"It's the elder from the other academy. I know his secrets. He is trying to kill ."
Heron looked at the blood soaked academy in horror. There are dead bodies everywhere. Most of the space gates are locked and only the special ones were unlocked, but they can only be used to co in the academy, not out. That was what Heron and companion used.
The rest of the students up on facing the wrath of the other elders imdiately ran to the space gates, but they are unable to use them.
A lot of first graders and the seniors that tried to save them are dead.
And the culprits stood in front of him.

Lightning roared in the skies of the Zeus academy as every intruder was slaughtered in the matter of seconds.
