Sam now just waited.
Ronx has been dealt with. The land abomination is done. Any lackeys left are not threat anymore. Now, two abominations are left.
Judging from the progress, the sky abomination will be unable to hold on anymore. The red feathers are even effecting its generals. Quite a few of them have died.
The water abomination is also suffering more losses. But the commander level creatures are dying more than the general level. The low level lackeys are nurous.
However, neither abominations made a move.
While waiting for them to co, Sam decided to strengthen his defenses also think of the future plans. The first thing he did is to revamp the formation of the Triala's territory. He has a dozen ways to destroy this city on the top of his head.
That is the sa thod he used to destroy the Ronx city.
He cannot have the sa fate repeat here. Particularly now that he killed all the mbers of Telchines and the Aspirant, he could guess soon so more people will be coming here.
But he cannot stay here all the ti to defend this place. So, for that, he figured out a way. That is part of the deal he made with the Gambler academy and Ling Tian.
After giving the blueprint to Triala, he instructed.
"Construct these with the material that we gathered until now. The structures should be precise. I want them as fast as possible.
You can even put a stop to the mining if you want. But this should be done first.
Also, gather all the Ronx people and make them stay in the city. From what I can see, all the people from all the settlents can easily fit in one city. Just expand it according to the requirents and finish this.
You can guys can be safer compared to now."
Triala nodded and imdiately went to work. She didn't even bother resisting or even expressing any doubts to Sam.
She is blindly following his orders.
Now that was set aside, Sam gave so other orders to the scout team and other teams that are roaming outside. To find the green portal. Luckily for him, they found the green portal in the Ronx city.
Of course, before he uses it, he has to deal with the abominations and there is only one day before he could do it.
And based on his calculations, by that night, most of the sky abomination lackeys will be dead, leaving the abomination itself alone. If the abomination doesn't co, he can just directly go there.
While Sam was preparing, the Sky abomination is roaming the skies trying brain storm a way to finish Sam. He is losing creatures and what Sam doesn't know is that he has been infected by those red feathers.
No matter what he did, no matter what asures he took, the feathers had spread and soon he ca into contact with them while trying to prevent them.
Of course, the situation is not as bad as it is with the generals. However, he could feel his strength depriving.
"Why the fuck did this guy co here?"
The Sky abomination cursed as he arrived at a spot in the sea.
"CO OUT. AQUA. CO OUT NOW!!!"
He scread to the water, maybe hoping that the noise would penetrate to the depths. And at the spot that he was aiming to reach, deep under the ocean, in fact at the deepest part of the ocean, a humanoid figure is sitting in a giant clam.
She is ditating and the energy of the surrounding sea is entering her. She suddenly opened her eyes and swam up.
A minute later, she appeared in front of the Sky abomination, floating in the air.
"What is it Sky?"
Her voice sounded ethereal. Almost like that of a siren's.
Sky looked at her, sizing her up. She didn't have the scales like her generals and commanders. Instead her body is smooth. But it is fully blue. Her palms and feet are webbed, with her whole body covered in so sort of ripple pattern.
Her eyes changed, with a beautiful green color.
"Have you not noticed it? An outsider has co and he is killing the abominations. Almost all of my lackeys have been killed. I am also infected with a weird venom he deployed into this world."
"I am aware."
"Then why are you not reacting? I noticed that he left so weird machines in the seas. Aren't they killing your children?"
"They are."
"Then why are you not taking any action?"
"You know as well as I do, why."
Sky shut up imdiately. After a pause he asked.
"Your situation has not improved?"
"No. After all, what we are is unnatural. It is already a miracle that you reached a relatively
stable state."
"Then what should we do?"
"I don't know."
"Are you not going to fight back?"
"I... don't know."
"What do you an?"
"Sky, sothing is happening to . My very condition right now seems like its telling to just disappear. I am soone who shouldn't have existed in the first place. But not only do I
exist, in that rageful state we have created those lackeys.
Even now, there are two instincts
ning in my head.
One to increase the number of lackeys and spread my species, and the other telling to act
human.
Every day this conflict is increasing and I need the energy of the sea to keep my body stable adding to additional stress.
In process, I wasn't able to control the lackeys at all. They are wrecking havoc everywhere, even though I didn't want to attack any further until I figure out my thoughts.
Whatever decision it is, I just want it to be over."
"You... you are out of your mind.
Don't you understand? We are not abominations. We are the extension of nature. We are the next step of evolution for the humans because of this planet's restrictions."
"But, from what you said, an outsider has co. Doesn't that an that there is already a proper way out for us? A proper next step? Doesn't that an we are wrong?"
"You... you are dood.
If you really think that way, then just wait here and die. That damned outsider will co for
your head."
With those words, he left.
Watching his receding figure, Aqua muttered.
"That is what I have been waiting for."
As if on cue, she suddenly sensed a presence in the water.
She dove back in and sat on the clam as she saw the presence she has been waiting for. That is
one of Sam's puppets.
The puppet entered her vicinity and imdiately let out the small tallic objects. She closed her eyes and accepted the objects without any resistance. As soon as she did, she felt a change in her body. The objects are fighting against the abomination gene.
And the mont they ca into attack, she suddenly felt a wave of relief invade her mind. Her thoughts suddenly beca clear. As if she beca human once again. The conflicting
thoughts beca clear.
She no longer felt the need for increasing the species.
At the sa ti, all the horrors she has created dawned on her. Her heart shattered and tears streaking down her eyes disappeared with the sea water around her.
At that mont, Sam was in the middle of constructing the defenses suddenly got an alert
from one of the puppets. He opened a screen and looked at it.
He was stunned by what he saw.
He didn't see the abomination before, but Triala did and she described the abomination. He
was surprised by what she was doing.
He was expecting a grand showdown by now, but instead of a showdown, she is closing her
eyes accepting the objects.
His instinct suddenly told him to go there.
Sam didn't even hesitate and used the dinsional drifter to move.
He appeared almost a few ters away from her position and she opened her eyes
imdiately.
"You must be the outsider." She spoke.
Sam created an open space around his head so that his voice could be transmitted better.
"Yes. You must be the water abomination."
"Abomination... I prefer that you call Aqua."
"Aqua.... I do hope that you know what you are doing."
"Why? Wouldn't being ignorant serve your cause better?"
"It would, but still, I would rather you die knowing than not."
"You are weird."
"Not as weird as you. You are the person who contributed to the largest portion of the current
state of this hell.
Now, you are dying willingly. What is the reason?"
"The sense of reason is the very reason.
When I beca the abomination I lost all sense of my reason. That is what prompted to
beco like this.
A montary decision. An impulsive one has caused this current state and we brought this to
this state. Only after gaining this mont of clarity did I understand the true destruction that
I brought upon this world.
And I would like to atone for it with my death."
Sam just stayed silently. It seed like the problem of this planet is a lot easier to solve than
he thought. And the original reasons he thought of about the abominations keeping the humans alive might not be the true reason.
Maybe due to complete lack of resistance, the water abomination succumbed to the tal substance very quickly and died.
