Similar etings were held in all the regions, except for the Duat region.
Because of the deal Sam struck with the Set academy, even if those people built up the resentnt, they couldn’t do shit. In a way, the prestige the Set academy and that elder commanded was a lot more than Bloody Chariot did in the Olympian region.
The etings in the other regions, only had one difference from the one in the Olympian region. Envoys from Olympian academies attended the etings in other regions and they relayed the plans and ssages sent by that one dean.
The plan was well liked by the other Deans as well and everything was set in motion.
anwhile back in the Hub.
Ivar yawned lazily and walked up to Sam who was still in his chair in front of hundreds of screens.
"I still can’t believe you actually got so many prisoners. We barely made any move too. But I believe going with the original plan. Capturing one candidate every three days would have been a lot more fun."
"It would be. If not for the situation, I would have done that. But that plan was a decoy from the start.
I just wanted to create a false sense of trust in them. Even though they were pissed, they knew I would only attack once every three days and I would only capture one person.
With so many people involved, the odds are that they might not be the one for that week. That kept them from taking desperate asures.
And if I did that one every three days capture, then the others would sooner or later understand, I am capturing way more people, even before we capture a desired number of candidates. And that is absolutely important. We need a certain number of people for this to work properly.
Now, we almost got them.

Just like Sam ntioned. Everyone was trying to desperately make a move. Except for the Duat region and Olympian region, all the academies made a move at the sa ti. It was to a scale, even Sam was surprised.
All regions had the sa movent.
The fastest and most accurate long range attackers were in a sniping position with the attacks locked in. They were all aiming at the hub, or rather the air space around the hub.
anwhile, the ones with the highest defense were leading the charge as they walked into the hub’s grounds.
Sam didn’t really activate any restrictions. Since the conquest started, the hub operations were just as usual. It was just that no one dared to use it.
Still, the intruders were very cautious. They didn’t know what kind of attack would just flow straight into their asses.
They inched in slowly. Sam just watched in amusent.
After they entered, all the intruders aid at their attacks at various spots and finally an elder spoke.
"Joker. I know you can see us.
I am telling you right now. Hand over Sam to us. Or else, we will destroy everything there is in this hub. After all, we already got the technology. There is no point in thinking too much about preserving this. They can burn to ground for all we care."
Sam smiled amusingly.
"These guys are really pea brained. I knew they would do this. This was such an obvious move and they didn’t even think that I might just predict this. They just went ahead with it like sheep.
I almost feel ashad that I had to think so much to sche against these guys."
Ivar and Icarus were standing next to him, along with the other managers. They were actually surprised that Sam was so carefree about the whole situation. After all, hub was such a wondrous thing and it was already a miracle that Sam created it.
Watching them get destroyed... even they as just his partners in cri couldn’t stomach it.
Joker’s projection appeared in front of all the groups, in all the hubs at the sa ti. Sam closed his eyes and split his attention, made his mind work in all directions simultaneously.
"Blow it up. I will even highlight the weakest parts for you. Just blow them up directly."
With a wave of Joker’s hand, all the machines lit up at specific spots. All of them highlighted the weakest parts of the machines.
Joker continued.
"Blow everything up, though. Don’t leave here with any regrets. Destroy it to the last pits. If you hit the highlighted spot properly with enough force, it can be destroyed.
But, the mont even a small piece of tal was off in my building, then I will pay a price to Sam and take over the captives for myself.
And if you think you have seen, the true extent of torture... you would think Sam was actually making sweet love with them, based on what I would do."
Everyone was dumbfounded. Not just by the brazen words, but by the choice of words as well. It was just too unique.
Joker just spoke without giving them a chance to speak up again.
"Spineless cowards.
Do you think I don’t know what you are planning here? You for the sake of a piece of scrappy tech, were ready to kill each other just a day before. Now that you had everything you desired, you think you can co back and take those people with you?
They are the paynt you made for the tech.
Do you think you can take them back without paying a price?
I dare you to try."
"You... Joker. You are being unreasonable here. You are making the whole of the academy realm your enemy, just for so little brat. Do you think this is worth it? You even sold off your technology for Sam. Now, you are even willing destroy everything you built, all for him?
It’s just one kid. One bloody brat."
