Bloody Chariot shook Yudhi’s hands, but didn’t say anything.
But Yudhi on the other hand was very friendly.
"So, how are you feeling now? I am sure soone who used that power at your level would have to pay a pretty price.
I personally don’t know what that experience is like, but I have heard things."
"I am fine, thanks for your brother’s care and hospitality." Bloody Chariot couldn’t just ignore his nice words anymore and had to reciprocate.
"Don’t ntion it. I am sure Naka was more than happy to do it."
Naka nodded with a smile and one of the kids brought a wooden chair for Bloody Chariot to sit.
Bloody Chariot hesitated for a mont and said.
"I would like to get straight to the point. I agree to give any information that you need to know about the outside world. But I need you to answer so questions as well. And I need your help in getting out of here..."
"Mr..."
"You can call Bloody Chariot..."
"Quite a Moniker. Bloody Chariot, it is our pleasure to serve our guests to the best of our ability. But that hospitality only extends to the ti that you are in our village.
In fact, it is not even our responsibility to save you from the beach. But I felt that it was too wrong for a man who don’t know what he was in for... to suffer in this place. So, I sent my brothers who had to risk their lives to save you.
So, it is against our will and policy to give you anything other than our hospitality within the bounds of village.
If you need information in exchange of the information that you give us, it is fine.
I can promise you that as long as it doesn’t harm my village, I will share it with you. And if whatever information you need to get out of here... I can try to get that, provided my village is not hard.
As for the rest, you have to earn it."
Bloody Chariot took a deep breath, a bit frustrated. The whole village seed to be too stubborn for their own good.
He really wished he had his power right about now. From the looks of it Yudhi is also at the peak of consummation, so at least Bloody Chariot could be confident about his equal footing.
But now, he doesn’t have that leverage.
"So, what exactly do you an, that I have to earn it? How do I earn your help? Do you need spirit stones? Divine energy resources? Tonics?"
"No, no. Why would we need anything monetary? All you need to do is earn our respect.
See, we respect people based on their capabilities. And the more we respect you, the more we help you. In fact, if you are respected enough, our whole village will fight to death for you. We are simple people, Bloody Chariot.
So, if you need our help in getting that safe passage or whatever you desire, earn our respect.
That is all..."
Bloody Chariot was a bit taken aback.
"Respect?"
"Yes, that is all. Respect."
"If you treat the guys that you don’t respect like this, I wonder how well you will treat soone with respect." He muttered out loud.
"Of course, we already respect you. As a guest and a person. In fact, you can stay until you recover completely and you will be accommodated in our village. We would do that for anyone who doesn’t an any harm to our village.
We are not monsters.
But anything more than that... is asking too much."
Bloody Chariot scratched his head.
"So, how do I earn your respect?"
"Simple. Strength.
If you can defeat , basically the whole village will respect you."
"Would that be enough to get the safe passage?"
"Oh, if you defeat , you will get a lot more than that.
For that safe passage, as long as it doesn’t involve too many risks, you just have to defeat Naka and you can get it."
Bloody Chariot raised an eyebrow and said.
"Now... you do know that my current state is not my default state, right? This is not my strongest. If I recover... your brother who is of a lower stage..."
"Of course, I know that. But if you think the cultivation stages are the only thing there is to strength, you will lose a teeny tiny bit of my respect for you, because of your ignorance.
And if you truly believe that you can defeat him that easily... then go ahead and do it. I won’t mind, he won’t and the rest of the village won’t mind either.
And you can take your ti with recovery to do that. No pressure there."
Bloody Chariot nodded and asked.
"But for the information exchange, do we need to wait?"
"Of course not, I can’t wait to hear about the outer world."
"Okay, ask away..."
For the next couple of hours... Yudhi went on and on about the outer world. Naka, Saha and even a bunch of other people from the village, almost a hundred people gathered as they heard everything Bloody Chariot said.
And for so reason, all the questions were pretty simple and straightforward.
There was nothing complicated or secretive about them. The whole village was just really curious about what the outer world is like. And all Bloody chariot had to answer were the questions about the few worlds that he had been in.
But they were just too many questions, which kinda irritated him.
"So, if you are done, can I ask you so questions?"
"No, before that, we need to know two more things...
How did you get here? And what purpose did you co to our world."
And this is the only ti Yudhi ever asked a relevant question that felt normal to Bloody Chariot.
And he was not sure how to answer that...
After so contemplation he decided to go with the truth.
