Every player had their own calamity to deal with. And they were in big trouble because of them.
They have to find a way to deal with them.
While they are all struggling, Sam wasn’t having an easy ti.
After he entered the shadow realm, he floated in that dark empty world full of shadows. The shadow energy ran rampant. However, with his shadow fusion, he fit right in. Once he regulated his energy, the world took him as one with it.
But even that state and the barrier between the two worlds didn’t help him.
More and more butterflies conjured up from who knows where and surrounded him.
At first he thought that the butterflies wouldn’t do much damage if they are destroyed. But even that didn’t help. The butterflies flew around him and they seed to be creating a weird disturbance in his mind.
When the butterflies were destroyed, the smoke that’s invading his body, acted like an aphrodisiac.
But when he didn’t destroy them. The more it stayed with him, the more it evoked a desire in his mind. While most people can’t tell the difference, Sam could. The physical phenonon was just that, physical.
But the ntal changes are more dangerous.
And the fact, even with his beefed up soul with all the ntal training he had... wasn’t immune to this made him worry about it more.
So, he destroyed the butterflies and inhaled the smoke. When his body is getting aroused, he imdiately restricted energy refining, letting the shadow energy of the shadow world corrupt him a bit.
Then as he took in the corruption, the pain helped him clear his mind and restricted his physical arousal. The ti he spent refining his body from the corruption back to normal, helped him a bit.
But once he is back to clean state, the lust hit harder.
He never knew the blood in his body could spread so fast to his groin.
He spent two days straight in the shadow world and then encountered a different problem. Unlike most people thought the shadow energy in the shadow world is not just corrosive to the body. He realized it is equally corrosive to the soul.
The more ti he stayed there, the more he felt that he belonged to the place. It felt like the shadow world is ready to dissolve and absorb him completely.
So, after two days he ca back from the shadow world and rested in his base.
He cleared up an empty patch of land, and set up a formation for himself. He used a couple of divine inheritances to set up an incineration formation that targeted his body. At the sa ti attached a calming mind formation to clear his mind.
While sitting in the formation, he removed the spiritual energy resistance to protect his body, letting it burn in the fire.
His natural healing of course, tried to patch it up as soon as it burned, but of course, the raging fire from the formation kept on burning him.
It had a similar effect as the shadow world, but as not as impactful.
At least, during the refining process, Sam had a little bit of window to be relieved from all the lust both physical and ntal. Now he didn’t have that luxury.
However, he had to endure it.
After settling there for a while, Sam sent a ssage to everyone. From managers to his friends. That day they all abandoned their training and ca to him.
Sam sat in ditation, without even opening his eyes he addressed them.
"Managers, I understand that you don’t know the full story.
But I don’t have ti to explain. You can let the boys explain it to you later. In short, it is related to the issue I have with the gods.

Once everything is in order, Sam deactivated the formation, took the beasts and dove back into the shadow world.
