{3rd Pov}

"Looking through the window, all I see…

is so creepy bastard staring at .

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with him?

I swear, if I could, I'd walk out there and stab him already,

because that guy is way too damn creepy for my liking.

Ooooh—

just you wait until so psychic finally takes my life,

or I end up becoming stronger than All Might himself.

Either way, nobody's ever taking alive…

because, let's be real here—

I'm not even alive to begin with. (Ooh—Ooh)

My patience is waning... is this entertaining?

No, seriously, our patience is waning... is this entertaining?!

I—I—I…

I'm losing my control.

And right now, all I wanna do…

is tear you apart and eat your damn soul.

Because there's sothing wrong with —

sothing unnatural—

there's literal magic in my bones."

Akari continued singing his poorly disguised rip-off of "Bones," his voice erratic and unhinged, yet strangely synchronized with the chaos around him.

Despite the absurdity of the situation, his focus never wavered from the enemy in front of him.

The S-Rank Spirit lunged forward with violent intent, its distorted form twisting unnaturally as it attempted to strike him down.

However, Akari reacted instantly.

Spiritual energy surged through his veins like a raging current, visibly crackling around his body as he raised his hand.

"Binding Curse."

The mont the words left his mouth, invisible restraints snapped into place around the spirit.

Its movent halted abruptly, its body jerking as if caught in an unseen cage.

It struggled, emitting a distorted, inhuman screech, but the curse held firm—at least for now.

Akari didn't waste a single second.

A manic grin spread across his face as he poured even more energy into his next move, his entire arm glowing with an overwhelming concentration of spiritual power.

"Let's end this… Yang Overload."

The energy compressed, then violently released.

A blinding beam of pure spiritual force erupted forward, tearing through the air with destructive precision.

The ghost reacted imdiately, unleashing its Domain Expansion without hesitation.

In an instant, the surroundings warped and twisted, reality folding in on itself as Akari was dragged into a sealed world entirely under the spirit's control.

The space around him beca suffocating, distorted, and inescapable—a prison where the only way out was simple: defeat the one who created it.

But Akari didn't panic.

If anything, he looked even more excited.

"Wow… fancy trick," he muttered, rolling his shoulders as if he had just stepped into a playground instead of a death trap.

The ghost didn't waste ti.

It surged forward, its presence pressing down on him from all directions, trying to crush him under the overwhelming pressure of its domain.

Akari just laughed.

"Too bad—"

Before the spirit could fully capitalize on its advantage, Akari's arm flared with energy again.

"—you're still getting hit."

"Yang Overload."

The beam fired point-blank.

There was no buildup this ti, no warning—just a sudden, violent blast of concentrated spiritual energy slamming directly into the ghost's face.

The attack ripped through the domain's atmosphere, distorting the space itself as it struck.

The ghost let out a piercing, inhuman shriek.

Its form destabilized instantly, its spiritual body flickering and warping as if it were being torn apart from the inside.

The once-intimidating presence now looked broken, its structure failing to maintain cohesion under the overwhelming force.

And Akari didn't stop there.

The mont he saw the opening, he moved.

He lunged forward with unnatural speed, closing the distance in less than a second.

His expression twisted into sothing feral as his jaw opened far wider than it should have, stretching in a way that no normal human body could replicate.

Then he bit down, hard.

"ARGHHHHHHH—!"

The ghost scread, its voice filled with raw agony as Akari tore a literal chunk out of its spiritual form.

The sound wasn't just loud—it was wrong, echoing unnaturally throughout the domain as if the very space itself was reacting to the pain.

Akari chewed, slowly and then—he smiled.

"...Huh. Not bad," he said casually, as if he were tasting food instead of devouring a spirit. There was genuine delight on his face, sothing disturbingly satisfied about the way he reacted.

"Not so scary now, huh?"

His grin widened further, stretching into sothing deeply unsettling. The lighting inside the domain shifted subtly, or maybe it was just him—but his face began to darken, shadows swallowing his features until it almost looked completely pitch black.

The ghost froze.

For the first ti since the fight began… it hesitated.

It finally understood.

The thing standing in front of it—laughing, biting, enjoying this wasn't even human.

Akari tilted his head slightly, his grin still visible even through the unnatural darkness covering his face.

And that's when the realization fully hit the ghost.

Akari…

was a ghost too.

...

There are all kinds of people in this world.

So get married early and settle down like they've got everything figured out.

So throw themselves completely into work and beco full-on workaholics who barely even rember what free ti is.

Then there are loners who avoid everyone, handso guys who get way too much attention for existing, and those ugly, creepy weirdos that nobody wants to be around.

And then… there's .

The boy who got reincarnated.

Yeah, apparently that's a category now.

Because after getting jumped and shot to death by four ard idiots—just because I had the audacity to speak out against so politician—I didn't end up in Heaven, and I definitely didn't end up in Hell either.

No divine judgnt from a fat mustache god.

No afterlife queue of hey! 'You even need to wait for entering the hell because of how full it is of sinners nowadays.'

Nothing.

Instead, I woke up in a completely different body.

A kid's body.

Specifically, this young boy nad Akari.

At first, I thought it was so kind of ssed-up dream or maybe my brain just firing its last signals before shutting down for good.

But nope, everything was way too real for that.

The sensations, the mories that weren't mine, the environnt—it all confird one thing.

I wasn't dead.

Or at least, not in the way I expected.

My previous na? Honestly… does it even matter anymore? It feels kind of pointless to hold onto sothing like that when literally everything about has changed.

New body, new identity, new life.

Hell, even my ethnicity changed.

…Wait.

Actually, scratch that.

I was Asian in my previous life too, so I guess not much has changed on that front. If anything, I just got a different version of the sa setting.

And if I had originally been from the northern regions, my face probably wouldn't have looked much different from a typical East Asian anyway.

So yeah.

New life, new body… but sohow, still stuck being .

Now, you might be wondering how I'm accepting this whole reincarnation—or rather, transmigration—thing so calmly.

Like, no panic, no existential crisis, no dramatic breakdown.

Yeah… about that.

These just happen to be my current thoughts while I'm being actively chased by a ghost.

So no, I'm not "coping well." I'm just too busy trying not to die again.

"Fuck!" I cursed out loud as I nearly tripped over my own feet, barely managing to keep my balance as I rushed forward. My breathing was uneven, my chest tightening with every second as that thing kept getting closer.

I didn't dare look back.

I stumbled through the door to my father's room, nearly slamming into it in my panic before forcing it open and rushing inside.

My eyes darted around frantically, scanning every corner, every shadow, searching for sowhere—anywhere—to hide.

Think. Think. Think.

Under the bed—!

I froze for half a second.

Right.

Japanese beds.

Lower than usual.

Way too low to actually hide under like in movies.

There was barely any space beneath it, definitely not enough for a whole person unless I wanted to get stuck halfway and die in the dumbest way possible.

"Okaa-san should have brought more expensive bed," I muttered under my breath, my panic rising even more.

So much for that idea.

I forced myself to look around again, faster this ti, my thoughts racing.

Then I saw it.

The closet.

A traditional Japanese closet—simple, sliding doors, just enough space to squeeze into if I didn't care about comfort, but honestly, the best option I had and who the fuck cares about comfort when a pedophile creepy dude is after your ass.

I didn't waste another second. I rushed toward it, nearly slipping again as I reached out and grabbed the door. My hands were shaking, but I still managed to slide it open as quietly—and as quickly—as I could.

Then I shoved myself inside.

I pulled the door shut right after , careful not to make too much noise, and curled into the tight space, trying to make myself as small and as invisible as possible.

My heart was pounding so loudly I was convinced it could be heard from outside.

Every breath felt too loud.

So I stayed completely still, pressing myself into the corner of the closet, hoping—desperately hoping—that whatever was chasing … wouldn't find .

It hasn't even been a few hours since I reincarnated.

Not even a full day.

And I've already been pushed way past what I can ntally handle.

I've been barely holding myself together this entire ti, forcing myself not to break down, not to start crying like a kid—well, technically I am a kid now, but still.

I've been trying to act normal, trying to process the fact that my previous life is just… gone.

My family is gone.

Everything I knew is gone.

And I don't even have the luxury to properly grieve it.

The place I ended up in? Japan.

More specifically, a place called Hanamugi.

From what I can tell through Akari's mories, it's either a small city or just a slightly larger town.

Honestly, I'm not even sure which one it is.

The information in his head isn't exactly detailed—it's just random bits and pieces that I'm trying to piece together.

Everything I know right now isn't even truly mine.

It all belongs to this kid—Akari.

And now, apparently, I am Akari.

Today started off almost normal.

My mom—well, this life's mom—told she was going to visit a neighbor who lives nearby.

She said she'd be back in an hour or two, nothing unusual for a Japanese parent to leave their children alone.

At the ti, I actually thought I got lucky.

Finally, so ti alone.

So ti to sit down, think, and try to sort out the ss inside my head. Maybe even co to terms with everything that happened.

Yeah… that didn't last.

Because it turns out, it wasn't luck.

It felt more like a setup.

Because not long after she left, I noticed sothing, so creep standing outside right in front of the window.

Just… staring at .

A creepy, ssed-up bastard with this disgusting look on his face, completely fixated on like I was so kind of target.

I froze when I saw him.

And then it got worse.

He licked his lips.

Actually licked his damn lips while staring at —an elentary school kid—with that kind of expression.

Not even trying to hide it.

Not even pretending to be normal.

Just openly being a freak.

I swear, in that mont, I genuinely wanted to kill him.

Because seriously—what kind of sick piece of shit looks at a child like that?

But then, out of nowhere, it started muttering sothing under its breath.

I couldn't even make out what it was saying.

The words sounded broken, distorted, like they weren't ant to be understood in the first place. Its eyes widened unnaturally, stretching far beyond what should be physically possible, like sothing inside it had just snapped.

And then—

it twisted its head.

A full one-eighty degrees.

Just a smooth, unnatural rotation like it didn't even follow basic anatomy.

Yeah.

That was the exact mont I realized I had seriously, completely, undeniably fucked up.

Because whatever that thing was…

it wasn't human.

Ghost? Demon? Oni? Satan? So kind of biological horror? Evil spirit? Parasyte? Hell, at that point I was even ready to bla so random ChatGPT nonsense if it ant I could make sense of it.

But no.

There was no explaining this.

I didn't know what the hell it was, and honestly, I didn't want to find out anymore.

Because right after that, it proved sothing even worse.

It moved.

Not like a person.

Not like anything normal.

It just… passed through the wall.

Straight through our house's outer wall like it didn't even exist.

Just in one side—

and then inside.

At that point, survival instincts kicked in harder than anything else.

Using every bit of intelligence I had left—and probably a lot of blind panic—I bolted out of my room without looking back. I didn't stop, didn't think twice, just ran straight to my dad's room, hoping that maybe, just maybe, I could find a place to hide.

And now here I am.

Curled up inside a closet like an idiot, trying not to make a single sound.

Praying.

Actually praying.

That whatever the hell that thing is… doesn't co in here.

'C'mon… okaa-san… please co back already and save from this demon,' I begged silently in my head, my thoughts shaking just as much as my body.

Tears kept slipping down my cheeks no matter how hard I tried to hold them back.

I clamped my hand tightly over my mouth, making sure not even the slightest sound escaped.

Because right now, even breathing too loudly felt like it could get killed.

Suddenly, I heard it.

Footsteps.

Slow… deliberate… dragging across the floor.

Each step made the wood creak in a way that didn't sound right, like the floor itself had been rotting for years and was barely holding together under its weight.

The sound echoed unnaturally through the house, uneven and heavy, like whatever was walking out there didn't understand how normal footsteps were supposed to work.

My eyes widened instantly.

I clamped my hand tighter over my mouth, pressing hard enough that it almost hurt, just to make sure I didn't make a single sound.

I should have been braver than this.

I know that.

But I didn't want to die again.

Not like this.

The first ti already hurt like hell—getting gunned down by four guys wasn't exactly a peaceful way to go.

And sohow, this situation felt even worse.

At least bullets were straightforward, quick and simple.

That thing out there?

Yeah… that looked like a much worse deal.

I stayed completely still, forcing myself not to move even an inch as the creaking footsteps grew louder and closer. Every second felt stretched out, like ti itself was slowing down just to ss with .

My heart kept pounding harder with every beat.

Too loud.

Way too loud.

I was half convinced it could hear it from outside the closet.

But then sothing felt off.

The closer the sound got the less scared I felt?

At first, I thought I was just going numb. Like my brain was shutting down from fear or sothing.

But then I noticed sothing else.

A sll.

Sothing… good.

Wait.

What?

I frowned slightly, confused even in the middle of all this panic.

Was that… food?

Why the hell was I slling sothing delicious right now of all tis?

It didn't make any sense.

My stomach twisted slightly, reacting to it, and that only made it worse.

Don't tell —

there's no way—

Is that creepy bastard seriously covered in sothing like baby oil or drenched in perfu so strong that it basically beca the outermost layer of its skin?

Because that's the only explanation I could co up with, and even that sounded completely ridiculous.

The sll didn't go away.

If anything, it beca stronger.

Sweeter.

More tempting.

And that's when a worse thought crept into my mind.

What if this isn't real?

What if this is just my brain ssing with ?

Like so kind of last defense chanism—trying to calm down, make accept whatever is about to happen, so I don't panic when I die.

Yeah…that sounded about right.

Because unlike in horror movies—where the sound suddenly drops, everything goes quiet, and then the monster jumps you out of nowhere—this wasn't like that at all.

The sound didn't get quieter.

It got louder, closer and heavier with each passing second.

Each step felt like it was right outside, like whatever that thing was had no intention of hiding its presence. The creaking stopped just short of the closet, and for a brief, horrible mont, everything went still.

It was right there.

Just outside the door.

I could hear it breathing.

Not normal breathing—no, this was sothing else entirely.

It was heavy, wet, and disturbingly uneven, like its lungs weren't working properly or like it was enjoying this way too much.

Each inhale and exhale sounded wrong, almost perverse, like it was savoring the mont before tearing apart.

And the sll?

It was even stronger now, sweeter than before.

So sweet it was almost suffocating.

My mind couldn't process it properly. Fear and confusion were clashing so hard that I couldn't even think straight anymore.

Then—

thud.

The closet door slid open violently.

And there it was.

Standing right in front of .

Up close.

Too close.

Its skin was a disgusting grey, like ash sared over sothing that had already started rotting. Its head looked decayed, uneven, like parts of it were falling apart but still sohow holding together. Its eyes—if those things even counted as eyes—were bulging out unnaturally, almost like they were about to fall out of its skull.

And its mouth…

Its mouth was filled with so thick, sticky, blood-like substance that dripped slowly, stretching in strands as it opened wider.

'Oh no…'

'I'm dead.'

That was the only thought that crossed my mind.

And then it lunged.

Everything happened too fast.

One second it was in front of —

the next, it was on .

And then—

pain.

Pain.

Pain.

It wasn't normal pain.

It felt like I was being hollowed out from the inside, like sothing was digging into , tearing through , chewing on .

Not just my body—but everything.

It felt like I was being eaten alive in the worst possible way.

I couldn't see.

My vision went completely dark.

I couldn't hear.

The world went silent.

All I had left…was sll.

That sa sweet, overwhelming scent filled everything, drowning out even the pain for a mont.

And without even thinking—

I opened my mouth.

And bit down, hard.

"Shiaaaaa—!"

The thing suddenly recoiled, jerking backward as if it had just been shocked. Its reaction was imdiate, almost panicked, like it hadn't expected that at all.

My vision snapped back.

My hearing returned all at once, the sounds rushing in like a flood.

And then—

I tasted it.

The flesh.

The piece I had just bitten off.

It was sweet.

Unnaturally sweet.

And sohow… good.

Really good.

I swallowed.

And the mont I did sothing changed.

I could feel it.

Strength surged through my body like a current, spreading rapidly through every part of . The pain that had been consuming just seconds ago vanished completely.

Like it had never existed in the first place.

I exhaled sharply, my body trembling slightly—not from fear this ti, but from sothing else entirely.

The thing froze for a second, like it genuinely didn't understand what had just happened.

Then its face twisted.

Not just anger—pure, violent fury.

"Hahaha—!"

I started laughing, my voice loud and uncontrolled.

Because for so reason… I wasn't scared anymore.

Not even a little.

The fear that had been crushing just monts ago? Gone. Completely gone, like it had been ripped out of and replaced with sothing else entirely.

Sothing worse.

"You think you can haunt ?" I muttered, my voice shaking slightly—not from fear, but from excitent.

My grin widened.

"Nah… I'll be the one haunting you."

The ghost lunged again, this ti faster, more aggressive, like it was actually trying to kill instead of playing with its food.

But I didn't back away.

I moved forward straight at it.

We collided.

And then, we bit into each other.

I don't even know if it was flesh anymore.

Or soul.

Or whatever the hell ghosts are made of.

All I knew was that I was eating it.

And it was eating .

Pain shot through my arm as it clamped down, chewing into with that sa disgusting, tearing force from before. For a split second, the pain ca back just as intense as earlier but I didn't stop.

I bit harder.

Faster.

I grabbed onto its arm and sank my teeth into its fingers, crunching through them one by one. The sensation was wrong, everything about this was wrong, but I didn't care anymore.

I swallowed.

And then I tore.

I ripped its entire hand off and devoured it completely.

And that's when I noticed sothing.

It wasn't just normal biting anymore.

Every ti I took a bite, its body didn't just tear—it lted into my mouth. Like it was dissolving the mont I consud it, like so kind of twisted cotton candy that didn't belong in reality.

I laughed again.

Because this was insane.

The ghost shrieked once more, but this ti, sothing was different.

There was fear.

Actual fear.

Right there on its face.

Good.

It started moving back, slowly at first, then faster, retreating in a way that was almost… human.

Like it finally understood the situation it was in.

Like it finally realized it wasn't the predator anymore, I was.

I stepped forward, slowly and nacingly, still with a smile on my face.

And that's when I noticed sothing out of the corner of my eye.

A mirror.

I glanced at it and saw both of us.

The ghost was there, wrapped in that dark, twisted aura, its form unstable and broken from everything I had done to it.

But ?

I froze.

Because what I saw…wasn't normal.

I didn't look human.

Not anymore.

I looked like a corpse.

My skin was pale, lifeless, my expression twisted into that sa unnatural grin. And surrounding was an aura darker than the ghost's.

For a second, everything clicked into place.

All of it.

The strength.

The hunger.

The way I could eat it.

The way I could even see the damn thing in first place.

"…Oh."

I stared at my reflection, my grin slowly returning.

"…So that's what's going on."

I let out a short, almost breathless laugh.

"I didn't reincarnate."

My eyes locked onto the ghost again.

"Not like a normal person, anyway."

My grin stretched wider, sothing completely unhinged settling into my expression.

"I didn't transmigrate either."

A pause.

Then—

"I fucking possessed this kid."

To be continued...

(A/N: How about you think this story? In fact the idea is so flexible I can either make it an original novel or a fanfic.

If It becos an fanfic the worlds I will be adding are Ito Jungi, Dark Gathering, Kaya-chan isn't scary, Mieruko san, Parasyte, and any more worlds that fix the narrative.

And No- JJK, Tokyo Ghoul, Noragami, Hellsing, and definetly not DXD or HOTD.

If you guys want it as original then get ready to see my creativity at full swing.

Now before you scream 'Mtf you cannot just publish another fanfic when you have so many ongoing, I am still waiting for the new chap of Fate/Gacha'

Don't worry, I will be putting Versatile Mage: Infinite Resources into indefinite hiatus after this, so yeah your updates won't be affected anyways, I have also taken that fanfic out of Patreon advance chaps list and priority of it has fallen all the way to Exposed in 4k levels.

And either way I will be uploading an original after this in a few months, enough of you guys bullying into writing fanfics, I will MAKE A FRICKING ORIGINAl, and give it all my love and lust.

*Ahem*)
