Frowning, Shen Fei read through the information in the post. He saw that an hour ago, of the more than six hundred siege teams from Xia Country, 300 had been repelled during the very first counterattacking wave from the defending NPCs. The defenses of ninety-nine percent of the large and dium-sized cities had shattered the invading teams with a single wave the mont they stepped into siege range. If most of the teams hadn’t been so quick-witted and promptly retreated out of siege range, they likely would have been completely wiped out by now.
Even so, that initial counterattack had brought catastrophic disaster to the besiegers who had underestimated the defensive forces. Many teams suffered heavy casualties. They were no longer livestreaming the siege. Instead, they had retreated dozens of miles and were now streaming themselves treating the wounded.
Three hundred teams were repelled in the first wave. After the second, another four hundred teams had withdrawn from the siege. These four hundred teams had lost their qualification to continue the siege right from the start, without even touching the Neutral City’s Shield. They returned with as much disappointnt as they had left with excitent! No one had expected this situation.
Now, after nearly an hour of fighting, only 18 siege teams remained in all of Xia Country. Of those, three had already destroyed the Heart of the City, achieving victory in the first stage. The remaining 15 were still fighting through the first stage.
There was no ti limit for the siege of a Neutral City. As long as a team completed the second stage—the city defense—within three days, they could occupy it. Therefore, as long as a team didn’t retreat, there was no need to rush during the first stage.

Just as Shen Fei was watching, the leaderboard suddenly flashed.
