Unknowingly, Jiang Shu had already spent three months in the Heaven and Earth Secret Realm.
He murmured to himself in secret.
Beneath his blade,
one Mutant Beast after another of the third rank fell, turning into Dead Souls.
The vital energy and blood surrounding him had been pushed to their peak just a few days ago.
All five of his vital organs had been trained!
In terms of realm, he had already reached the peak of the Refining Internal Realm!
As soon as the "Four Symbols Internal Energy" reached Great Success, he could begin refining his bone marrow and officially step into the Blood Exchange Realm!
"What a pity," he thought, "from small success to Great Success in the ’Four Symbols Internal Energy’ requires even harsher conditions. In the outer circle, my Xuanwu True Force progressed painfully slow—only upon entering the inner circle could it begin to grow again. But even then, the growth only resud at a normal pace."
He shook his head.
Though he had the panel, even the toughest cultivation technique could have its proficiency ground up, little by little, in his hands.
But gaining just one point of proficiency a day versus ten points a day,
that was a whole different story!
It was hard to go from luxury back to frugality.
Having grown used to rapid improvent, if Jiang Shu went back to grinding all day and night just to gain a asly couple of points,
*even soone as tough-minded as he was would find it hard to adapt.*
There ought to have been about ten days left before the Secret Realm passage closed.
He could still cultivate for a while longer.
He cald his mind.
Jiang Shu continued training, *his mind already having settled on which Heaven and Earth Secret Realm to hit next.*
Ti lost all aning within the Secret Realm.
Just as Jiang Shu was imrsed in his training,
from a great distance away, a fierce, vicious roar suddenly erupted!
The whole world darkened in an instant.
Over the sea’s surface, thick clouds churned and gathered rapidly with the roar.
It looked like a torrential rain was about to hit.
Even though Jiang Shu was deep beneath the water, he still sensed all of it.
He shot from a hundred ters below like a cannonball, bursting through the water’s surface.
He saw three figures sprinting wildly across the sea’s surface.
Behind them, a giant python cut through the water in pursuit.
Endless waves surged up in its wake, the commotion was overwhelming.
Jiang Shu narrowed his eyes.
He imdiately recognized one of the figures as Wang Jing, whom he had t once before at the Grade C Heaven and Earth Secret Realm in Heining Province.
And behind them, that giant python made the old Fog Python from back then look ta by comparison.
Its massive body was one and a half tis the size of the Fog Python!
It could summon wind and rain!
The sea itself roared in its presence!
On the python’s head, a bloody red bump jutted out!
"This is... a python about to beco a Flood Dragon!"
Jiang Shu’s entire body trembled violently, and a light erupted in his gaze, a light he had never felt since entering the Heaven and Earth Secret Realm!
A Mutant Beast in the form of a Flood Dragon was at least Fourth Rank!
*Back in Pingling County, the Fog Python he encountered could already fortify his internal organs with its flesh.*
*But this Evil Flood Dragon, its blood and flesh could refine bone marrow!*
*For soone already at the peak of the Refining Internal Realm like him,*
*that flesh was worth its weight in gold!*
Although the python before him hadn’t officially beco a Flood Dragon,
the flesh on its body was more potent than any ordinary python mutant by far.
*It was nearly equivalent to Flood Dragon blood and at!*
The effect on marrow refinent was the sa!
"Jiang Shu? Run!"
As Jiang Shu spotted the giant python,
Wang Jing noticed Jiang Shu too.
Ignoring the danger on his heels, he shouted at the top of his lungs.
The C-grade grenade in his hand was hurled backward!
Boom!
A C-grade grenade that could instantly kill a normal third-rank Mutant Beast,
was utterly useless against this giant python.
A massive wall of water exploded upward,
but the detonation only struck a patch of the python’s scale armor.
"You guys go first."
To Wang Jing’s horror, Jiang Shu charged toward them instead of backing away!
Clutching his alloy warblade, he stepped across the water right at them!
"Jiang Shu? Jiang Shu, ranked twenty-third on the Grandmaster List? Run! That’s a python on the verge of becoming a Flood Dragon! You can’t beat it!"
One of the Grandmasters—na unknown—shouted in panic.
"Got any more C-grade grenades? Hold it off a little longer—once we make it out the passage, even that thing can’t handle the army!"
The other Grandmaster was slightly calr. During their flight, they had used up all their C-grade grenades.
If not for all three possessing excellent movent techniques, the python would’ve caught up long ago.
They would have died midway!
Even three Grandmasters working together couldn’t take the python. They could only flee in panic.
That showed just how terrifying the creature really was!
The towering body, forty ters tall, reared on the sea like a skyscraper!
From the sky, sheets of torrential rain poured down!
Standing at barely one point eight ters tall, Jiang Shu looked tiny before the giant python.
Torrential rain...
That mixed perfectly with sumr thunder!
Beneath his feet, Xuanwu True Force exploded outward.
The water surged up in columns, lifting Jiang Shu dozens of ters!
He stood on the spraying waves, looking up at the giant python.
Battle intent filled his eyes!
*A regular Hua Jing Master would stand no chance against this python.*
*But he had crossed through the Two Realms.*
*Now, he was a Martial Artist at the peak of the Refining Internal Realm!*
All five organs trained, all four mysterious true strengths had each reached small success!
The alloy warblade in his hand blazed with Vermilion Bird True Strength and White Tiger True Strength.
In the stunned gazes of the three Grandmasters, Jiang Shu’s blade hacked toward the darkness like it ant to split the whole world open.
A peal of thunder seed to crackle out of nowhere!
"Old Wang, is that really Jiang Shu—the one ranked twenty-third on the Grandmaster List?"
One of the Grandmasters trembled.
His sprint suddenly stopped, and he turned his head, a look of utter disbelief in his eyes.
Beside him, Wang Jing looked as if he’d just been struck by lightning.
*It was as if that blade had struck him instead of the giant python.*
*He’d only t Jiang Shu once, and had followed him on the Grandmaster List ever since. But, like other Martial Artists in the Martial Artist Alliance, he figured Jiang Shu had peaked at rank twenty-three.*
