After Luo Qianqian finished eating, she hadn’t done much yet when she heard her phone buzz. She took it out and saw a missed call and an unread ssage, both from the sa person—Deng Ming.
The ssage was asking if she had anything urgent, explaining he was out leading a training and didn’t bring his phone along.
The ssage had been sent twenty minutes ago.
The call had been made an hour earlier.
Furrowing her brow, Luo Qianqian checked the ti and decisively called back.
Almost imdiately upon connecting, the call was answered.
"Hello?" The deep, husky voice on the other side sounded like soone with a cold.
"It’s Luo Qianqian." She introduced herself directly, "Can you talk now?"
"I... can." Deng Ming answered after a sigh from the other side.
"Actually..." Luo Qianqian just managed to say two words when she was caught off guard by a duet-like sound. She went to the balcony window, listened to the sound of stray dogs outside, but there was a duet sound in the background?
"Where are you?" Almost imdiately, Luo Qianqian asked suspiciously.
Deng Ming looked at the dog in front of him with eyes glistening with green, feeling utterly helpless. Was he seen as food? Or did he look delicious?
