"Shall I go up?" Seeing Luo Qianqian troubled, Yan took a deep breath, suggesting.
"Can you manage alone?" evidently worried, Luo Qianqian asked.
Yan gently nodded, indicating she shouldn’t worry.
Luo Qianqian softly said: "Then we’ll keep watch, call if anything happens."
Yan vanished with a flicker after speaking.
The Ancient Tree, a Star Path landmark, its species irrelevant, its ancient age is significant, ho to guardian Star Beasts.
The Star Beasts mainly rest at midday, thus the lair remains largely safe.
About a quarter of an hour later, Yan returned by Luo Qianqian’s side holding an item.
Luo Qianqian accepted, bewildered: "What is this?"
"An Ancient Fruit, from the Ancient Tree." Yan paused, explaining: "The mission..."
Luo Qianqian shook her head gently: "My mission requires the Star Core."
At her words, they all changed expressions simultaneously.
"Really?" Yan’s eyes filled with disbelief as he looked at Luo Qianqian.
"Yes." Luo Qianqian nodded.
"Do you know what the Star Core is?" Bai Jian swallowed, bitterly smiling at Luo Qianqian: "Looks like we might spend our lifeti here."
"The Star Core is that thing’s Inner Pill." Huangfu Yihui explained, seeing Luo Qianqian’s confusion, face also in shock.
Why, despite both being Ninth Level missions, was Yan’s so much easier than Luo Qianqian’s?
Though Ancient Fruit was challenging, obtaining it still feasible, but this Star Core...
