"Huh?" Isn’t this just a regular little cat? Would an unusual cat be bought by Second Uncle as a pet? From a practical standpoint, it’s unlikely... Second Uncle’s abilities are just a bit better than an average person, and that’s about it.

Even though she intervened halfway, it still can’t change the fact that this cat was originally ant to be given to Qin Nuan, right?

Evolving? Doesn’t that an it’s quite powerful? If it’s very powerful... should she return it to Qin Nuan?

Moreover, shouldn’t powerful beings be hard to deal with?

Actually, Yan was also quite puzzled; they rarely encountered such creatures, and there wasn’t anything special about it on the way here. But ever since it started to doze off, they hadn’t been bothered by any Spiritual Beasts, almost as if they had a radar, clearing the path wherever they went.

He had seen this state before; it could only be described as evolution. Beyond that, he couldn’t find any other words to describe it.

This little creature even clung to him for so highly potent herbs.

Such a vast amount of energy, followed by sleep—this could only an evolution.

"Oh my god..." Is it really that powerful?

Luo Qianqian gazed at the little black cat with astonishnt, her surprise displayed on her face.

Not only Luo Qianqian herself, but even Yann Yao and Huangfu Yihui were in disbelief. Did they hear it wrong? Evolving???

"Then will it still be able to catch mice in the future?" Luo Qianqian was inexplicably wondering this, stroking her chin.

The response she got was three big capitalized bewildernt.

The night, slightly cool.

Leaves rustled as Luo Qianqian calmly held the Jade Flute, standing on a flat ground, behind her lay a vast, smooth avenue, and in front was the forest they had just erged from.

Yan held the little black cat, intimately covering its ears. As for things he hadn’t seen before, or those not described in records, he maintained great curiosity.

anwhile, Yann Yao and Huangfu Yihui were seated to the side, quietly watching Luo Qianqian stand at the edge of the forest. Her red dress fluttered as a breeze from the forest lifted the hem of her skirt, swaying in the air.

The Jade Flute gently touched her lips, and a never-heard lody quietly began, lanting and recounting a distant holand, family longing, weaving through and touching the heart.

Yann Yao’s expression changed subtly, instinctively covering his ears as he glanced at Huangfu Yihui, only to find him listening intently to the music.

Soon the tune shifted, murderously overt, and fully displayed.

The sound of battle erged from the trees, yet soone stepped out—a man in white, quietly standing at the edge of the forest, gazing at Luo Qianqian. A silver mask glinted under the sunlight.

Luo Qianqian ignored him, calmly closing her eyes, imrsed in the music. Yan showed slight surprise in his eyes, but then also ignored.

Luo Qianqian listened to the sound in the forest, engrossed in the song, and after a while, the tune ended.

She opened her eyes, looking at the man in white before her, raising a brow: "Mister, the tune’s over, the crowd dispersed; next ti you kill, do it early."

Without looking, although those in the forest might not be dead, they’ve certainly lost their power to fight. Luo Qianqian was aware of Water Spirit Flute’s attack power.

"Luo Shiqi?" His questioning tone and affirmative manner, the man in white stood quietly by the tree, no intention of advancing nor departing.

Luo Qianqian raised her eyebrows—was he here for her?

One hand held the Water Spirit Flute, while the other hand took out a small bow behind her back, looking defensive.

"What’s your business?" Her voice was calm, without any anomaly, except her fingers behind her back slightly pale, revealing in Yan’s eyes. He frowned, standing slowly.

"I’m not here on a task to kill you; you can relax." The man in white lowered his sword, stepping forward, looking at her delicate eyebrows and eyes, smiling. If not for the hint of bloodlust in his eyes, Luo Qianqian might be bewitched by his gentle expression, but she imdiately beca more cautious, retreating two steps.

"I’m Mo, Mo of Youye."

He stated he was, not nad, indicating his fa.

Luo Qianqian turned her head, glancing at Huangfu Yihui and Yann Yao, their faces showing utter astonishnt and disbelief.

Youye, the continent’s top assassin organization, Mo, ranked first within the group.

"Hmm, so what?" Luo Qianqian continued to look at the man in white before her, showing no signs of retreat.

The man in white smiled, continuing to approach Luo Qianqian; as she couldn’t retreat further, he whispered by her ear: "I am Mo, Yue Zhimo."

Luo Qianqian remained puzzled, yet suddenly slled a fresh scent.

Though Huangfu Yihui and Yann Yao didn’t hear, Yan who was close to Luo Qianqian did, and he frowned imdiately.

Luo Qianqian felt a bit blurry directly in front and was about to fall backward when Yan stepped up to support her, handing her a white pill, easing the situation slightly.

Before anyone spoke, Yan explained: "Yue Zhimo, also known as the Poison Saint."

Beside them, Huangfu Yihui and Yann Yao looked utterly shocked. No matter how hard they thought they wouldn’t associate the leader of the assassin organization with the infamous Poison Saint, right?

More surprisingly, Poison Saint was so young?

Wasn’t it said that poison practitioners aged rapidly?

Yet still youthful looking.

Luo Qianqian looked at Yue Zhimo right in front, furrowing slightly; he seed familiar sohow.

"Yes, indeed, it’s ." Mo nodded calmly, showing no embarrassnt from being exposed, rather asserting that they wouldn’t dare to do anything to him.

Having stood straight, she carefully glanced at the little black cat, relieved to see it alright, she whispered to Yan close by: "Was I poisoned just now?"

"Yes." Yan nodded calmly.

The next mont Luo Qianqian hugged the little black cat, hiding behind Yan while clutching the small bow tightly, ready to shoot Water Spirit Flute as arrows if provoked.

"Scared so easily?" Mo noticed Luo Qianqian’s action and smiled at Yan.

"...What brings you here?"

Yan seed acquainted with Mo, speaking quite familiarly, Luo Qianqian frowned slightly, peeking curiously.

"Good things, can’t let my brother take them all..." Mo smiled freely, yet upon seeing Yan’s expression, sighed helplessly: "You know, Mother is rather troubleso... so I had to co."

"Do you still have Red Blood Ginseng?" The topic shifted swiftly as Yan directly stretched out a hand to Mo.

Mo instinctively handed over a box to Yan, asking belatedly: "What for? It’s not that precious..."

Yan opened the box, glanced inside, and calmly turned to pat the little black cat in Luo Qianqian’s arms, placing Red Blood Ginseng near its mouth.

Everyone was stunned—what’s going on???

"Bro! Even if it’s not pricey, you can’t feed... what is this anyway? Short of evolutionary energy?" Mo glanced over, yet Luo Qianqian imdiately turned defensively, blocking his view.
