Qhianqhian didn’t really care about this issue; after all, it wasn’t her who would hatch the egg.
The other four people, however, told Luo Xinyue all the information they knew. After all, hatching an egg was not an easy task...
After eating and drinking, Luo Qianqian leisurely bathed An Hao and tossed him onto the bed. By the ti both of them were done washing up, An Hao was already asleep.
Luo Qianqian pinched his little face: "Xiao Yu, you all rest first, I’ll go find my dad."
"Mm, okay." He Wenyu yawned and lay down beside An Hao, leaving a large space for Luo Qianqian.
Luo Qianqian left the room and went to find Luo Xinyue, catching him sitting in the living room looking at a photo. It was a photo that seed very old, making Luo Qianqian quite curious. She quietly walked over, only to be discovered before getting close.
"Qhianqhian? Why haven’t you slept?" Luo Xinyue looked back at his daughter’s cautious appearance and couldn’t help but find it amusing. He waved her over, pulling her to sit beside him, and showed her the photo in his hand. It was a very old family portrait, obviously often taken out for a look, though it was now covered with a layer of laminate.
"I spend most of the nights cultivating, which is also kind of resting. It’s still early, no rush." Luo Qianqian shook her head with a smile, looking at the photo’s content.
She recognized the people in the photo.
It was her dad, mom, and one-year-old brother. The photo was black and white, yet it carried a nostalgic feeling.
"When your brother was young, he was just like An Hao, very cute and smart." Luo Xinyue reminisced, looking at Luo Qianqian with a face full of mories.
Luo Qianqian rolled her eyes: "Dad, my brother is still smart now, and very handso. An Hao is just a little greedy piggy, eating until his stomach hurts but still wanting more."
"Your brother used to be like that too. Sotis I wonder, if I hadn’t left you back then..."
"Dad, in that case, I might not even have been born to see this world." Thinking about the secret hidden beneath the villa, her face clouded.
If those heartless people knew of their existence, they might not kill anyone to keep the secret.
"...You’re right." Luo Xinyue nodded with a bitter smile. Indeed, if he hadn’t sensed danger back then, he wouldn’t have left.
And what’s already happened... there are no such things as ’if’.
"Actually, things are unstable everywhere now." Luo Xinyue calmly put the photo away, opened his wallet, and tucked it inside. There was another photo of her in the wallet, seemingly a childhood photo as well.
"Where did this photo co from?" Luo Qianqian blinked in curiosity.
"I got it from your brother." Luo Xinyue looked at the sweetly smiling child in the wallet, a smile on his lips as well: "Oh, by the way, you all should go here when you have ti." Luo Xinyue pulled a slip of paper from his wallet, which had an address written on it.
Luo Qianqian glanced at it and frowned: "Isn’t this the place known as the Temple of Light?"
"Yes, so incidents happened there before, which caught my attention. But your safety is the priority. However, it shouldn’t hurt to have a little adventure, right?" Luo Xinyue chuckled lightly.
Luo Qianqian felt a wave of frustration: "I don’t really mind, but how are those four and An Hao going to manage out there?"
"Leave it to ..."
Just as Luo Xinyue finished speaking, Luo Qianqian’s eyes widened. An exquisite black bow appeared in her hand: "Dad, call Elvis to Xiao Yu and An Hao’s room."
With that said, she quickly went out the door.
There was an extrely dark power present around the villa, yet it didn’t seem like a creature from the Otherworld.
"Shiqi!" Yan showed up first, with a red long sword in hand, standing at the door looking around. There didn’t seem to be anything unusual, but that aura kept moving, surrounding them left and right.
The wind blew through the leaves like they were dancing on the horizon, lifting Luo Qianqian’s skirt and making it flutter in the air.
A sharp blade ca slicing through the air, aiming straight at Luo Qianqian’s face.
She tilted her head slightly, and the blade skimd past her cheek, imdiately issuing the sharp sound of a blade piercing the ground.
In the moonlight, a stream of blood trickled down Luo Qianqian’s face.
She squinted her eyes a little; since the moonlight wasn’t very bright, she simply closed her eyes. Blessed with the ability to hide in the darkness, where could she simply see clearly?
"On the slanted rooftop in the direction of your right hand." Mo’s voice sounded. Luo Qianqian didn’t doubt him, bending her bow and shooting an arrow directly. A whistling sound sliced through the air before she opened her eyes, waiting quietly. Yet she found that the opponent had fled quickly, or rather... flew away? It was a very familiar creature.
A bat.
Rashal’s clan? Why would they do this?
"Very peculiar energy, dark and bloodthirsty, yet different from the Otherworld," Yan frowned, and Mo quickly verified the location where the bat had flown away, holding an ice arrow in his hand, which had so strange colors on it.
"A demon? It’s not quite like that either..." Mo also frowned tightly.
Dad just asked her to take a look over there, and sothing happened here? Aren’t they supposed to be opposites? Moreover, she should be on good terms with the Blood Clan, right? Even though she only took away those two siblings.
"In our terms, those are called the Blood Clan, a race that lives on drinking blood." Luo Qianqian took a deep breath: "Originally, I wanted to have a couple more days of fun with you guys, but it seems business has to co first."
Huangfu Yihui and Yann Yao each stood guard, one by the door and one by the window, protecting the weaker ones inside. Though He Wenyu and An Hao were asleep, it didn’t affect their actions in the slightest.
Luo Qianqian returned and looked at the slightly frowning two, pulling up the corners of her mouth: "Thanks a lot, I’ll explain it to you later. Let explain it to my dad and my brother first, then you guys go rest."
All four nodded before returning to their rooms. Although Luo Xinyue didn’t look very fearful, he nodded and led Elvis out of the room, not disturbing the two sleeping children.
"Dad, take care of what just happened as soon as possible. We have to get over there quickly, or we might run out of ti." Luo Qianqian smiled bitterly. Although there was still ti, they didn’t even know where the Gate of Another World would open.
Most importantly, Tang Guo went into an ergency retreat, leaving her unable to help at all; everything was left to the Will of Heaven.
"Okay, before tomorrow night, I’ll have soone..."
"Qhianqhian, you know soone there." Elvis’s eyes suddenly lit up, eagerly saying: "Didn’t you invite soone from the Nine Heavens Pavilion when it opened before..."
"Right, I almost forgot... Tomorrow I’ll go pay a visit. Elvis, tomorrow you take them around, and as long as An Hao has sothing good to eat, he won’t cause trouble. If he eats too much, just hold him for a while, then let him walk by himself." Luo Qianqian seriously instructed, then looked at Luo Xinyue: "Dad, I’ll make a greeting tomorrow. Better not let them suspect anything, don’t arrange identification for us."
"Okay." Luo Xinyue nodded in agreent.
