"Oh? Back then, even the Xu Family had their eyes on ?" Qhianqhian raised an eyebrow in surprise, but did not hide the disdain in her eyes.
Whatever the Xu Family did, they would naturally pay the price!

After arriving at the destination, Qhianqhian naturally got out of the car and asked Elvis to head back, saying she’d call him if she needed a ride later.
Elvis nodded, feeling sowhat like a professional driver. In reality, he’d only chauffeured Qhianqhian. Given his status, even Luo Xinyue drove herself and didn’t need him.

Just as he was about to take out his phone, he saw soone coming out to greet her, so he stopped any further actions.
Han Chen, seeing Qhianqhian’s attire, had a fleeting look of amazent but quickly composed himself. He smiled lightly at her, "You’re right on ti, please co in."
"If I were late here, wouldn’t that be courting death?" Qhianqhian chuckled softly and followed his pace.
She calmly accepted the checks; all of her belongings were inspected without exception, then she calmly entered inside.
Looking at Qhianqhian’s bag, which only contained a phone and a flattened wallet with just a few bills, Han Chen found it amusing. Even with inspections here, was it necessary to be so unguarded?
After all, many people here had gun permits.
"Speaking of which, it’s only been a few years and you’ve reached this level. You must have worked hard, right?" Qhianqhian calmly looked ahead, showing no intention of looking around.

"Who is the person behind you?" Qhianqhian asked softly, her gaze becoming sharp.
The Xu Family was behind the State Security Departnt, so what was behind the Han Family, or even Han Chen, that allowed him to go from seeking help at the Luo Family to achieving his current status in such a short ti?
"Heh." Han Chen was startled, then chuckled, stopped, turned around, and looked fixedly at Qhianqhian. "I thought you wouldn’t ask."
"Why wouldn’t I ask?" Qhianqhian responded calmly, "It’s a fine tradition to ask when you don’t know sothing. Why shouldn’t I ask about things unknown to ?"
"Didn’t you have soone investigate?" Han Chen looked calmly into Qhianqhian’s eyes, as if trying to see so answers within them.
Qhianqhian shook her head. "My family is quite busy, no ti to investigate."
It’s not that there was no way to investigate, just no ti to do so.
Han Chen smiled, his face showing no other emotion, "Wouldn’t you find out soon enough? What’s the point of asking now?"
"I need to determine why you are approaching ." Qhianqhian calmly regarded him.
Han Chen bent down, whispering into Qhianqhian’s ear, "What if I said I approached you because of who you are?"
Qhianqhian instinctively rolled her eyes grandly, took a step back, and then pouted, "? I have money, capability, and I’m not bad-looking. It seems there’s no problem with saying that. But..."
"Hmm?" Han Chen stood with arms crossed in front of Qhianqhian, waiting for her ’but’.
"The more outstanding a person, the higher their standards. One should be self-aware." With a slight curl of her lips, Qhianqhian’s face was filled with sincerity.
"I see, looks like I still need to work harder." Han Chen said no more, leading her to a private room door, only knocking when he heard a voice say ’co in’, before opening the door.
The door opened to a room where six or seven people, all unfamiliar, sat. Qhianqhian slightly raised an eyebrow without saying anything, calmly stepping into the room and waiting for Han Chen to introduce everyone.
"This is Qhianqhian." He gave a standard military salute to everyone in the room.
Qhianqhian understood as she looked at the seven people in the room. Among them were two who seed like senior figures, likely in their seventies, three in active military service likely in their forties or fifties, and two who probably were military family mbers.
"This is Elder Yu, Elder Sun, Deputy Commander Chen, Commander Sun, Chief of Staff Wu, Wu Chief’s wife, and Commander Sun’s wife."
As Han Chen introduced everyone, Qhianqhian calmly nodded, "Hello everyone."
Clearly, everyone was dressed for the occasion. Luckily she hadn’t shown up in a plain dress without makeup; although naturally beautiful, it still would sowhat disrespect others.
However, Qhianqhian’s indifferent greeting also made the Commander’s wife unhappy, frowning as she seed unaware of why Qhianqhian could be so impolite, not only keeping them waiting but also without any courtesy, not greeting everyone individually.
"Qianqian, have a seat." Elder Yu smiled warmly at Qhianqhian, appearing completely unruffled by her casual way of greeting.
Following Elder Yu’s gesture, Qhianqhian sat down on one side, unmoved by the attitudes of others.
Han Chen also quietly sat beside Qhianqhian, looking towards Elder Sun with a smile, "This is my god-grandfather, the behind-the-scenes person you ntioned, offering guidance and help for my seamless progress."
Qhianqhian looked surprised at the smiling elder, raising her eyebrows in astonishnt.
"Haha, young lady, don’t be afraid. I an no harm. I know your identity and know you’re the granddaughter of Elder Luo." Old Master Sun laughed heartily, gesturing towards Commander Sun, "This is my son, and Han Chen, this kid, is indeed capable, otherwise, he wouldn’t have been taken under his wing."
Qhianqhian rolled her eyes grandly, feeling no sense of revelation, only more confused.
Why didn’t she know the people behind the scenes???
If they were people she didn’t know, why even bother investigating her?
