"Luo Qianqian, don’t think you’re anything special just because you’re from the Luo Family. You’ll get married off one day too! A gentleman’s revenge can wait ten years!" Xu Xiaoxiao couldn’t contain her anger when she looked at Luo Qianqian, and since Grandpa Xu didn’t take her side, she could only make threats.
"You needn’t worry about . If the man I marry can’t protect , why would I marry him?" Luo Qianqian scoffed. "You’re right, a gentleman’s revenge can wait ten years, but I’m petty and hold grudges."
"Oh, who dares to speak ill of Qianqian at my doorstep?" Luo Yanhao’s unrestrained voice ca through, truly surprising Luo Qianqian. She hadn’t expected her second brother to be back.
"Isn’t that Xu Su? Why don’t you co in?" Luo Xisi appeared at the door dressed in military green, brightening Luo Qianqian’s eyes.
"Uncle, Brother, Second Brother!" Luo Qianqian was so excited to see the familiar faces before her she could hardly contain herself. "Where’s my little uncle?"
"Your Fourth Uncle is not in the sa unit as us, I don’t know where he’s off to now." Luo Xisi stroked Luo Qianqian’s hair, not missing the swelling on her face.
With an awkward expression, Xu Su greeted him, "You’re back, Luo Xisi. You look even more robust."
"What’s going on?" Luo Yanhai didn’t have the patience for pleasantries and imdiately pulled Luo Shufan aside to talk.
Luo Xisi, on the other hand, took his wife aside. His face was getting darker by the mont, and his glance at Xu Su grew increasingly fierce.
Seeing that his brother and uncle had gone to handle the situation, Luo Yanhao picked up Luo Qianqian and faced Xu Su while saying, "Did you miss your brother? Have you been bullied? Now that brother is back, I can help you get revenge."
Luo Qianqian, already eighteen and over six feet tall, was in Luo Yanhao’s arms, allowing her to look down on Xu Xiaoxiao and even Xu Su, who seed much less imposing at five foot nine.
"Luo Qianqian, don’t think having your brothers back ans you can show off!" Xu Xiaoxiao was sowhat tongue-tied when she looked up at the tall Luo Yanhao.
Xu Su almost wished he could slap his own daughter. You didn’t say earlier that now, with everyone back, you’re worried they’d co after you for accountability, are you?
"Show off? Does my sister need soone’s backing to do so?" Luo Yanhao looked at Xu Xiaoxiao with a mocking expression. "And what right do you have to point fingers at my sister in front of ?"
"Ahem, Xiaohao, that’s Grandpa Xu’s granddaughter you’re talking about." Jia Ning was moved by her son’s protective nature, knowing he had grown up and was defending his sister – sothing he had done since Luo Qianqian was brought ho to the Luo family, never going easy even when fighting his brother.
"How many sisters do I have? One Qianqian is enough," Luo Yanhao said, disagreeing with Jia Ning, but then he turned with a mischievous grin, "Mom, are you planning to give another sister?"
"Exactly, one Qianqian is enough. If we had a sister who always stirs up trouble and looks for conflicts, wouldn’t we be exhausted?" Luo Yanhai, after understanding what had transpired between Luo Qianqian and the Xu family, recalled his mother’s ssage. Since he was already on his way back, he hadn’t inquired further, but now it seed he’d have to seriously deal with that Xu Tianyi when he got back.
"Look at what you’re saying, my Qianqian is sensible and adorable, she wouldn’t cause trouble," Luo Yanhao said, noting his brother’s angry stare at Xu Su and instantly realizing his sister’s bruising must’ve been Xu Su’s doing.
"So obedient and sensible, yet there are still people who deliberately provoke her." Luo Yanhai glared at Xu Xiaoxiao, and years of military discipline made her cry out in fear as soon as their eyes t.
"Ahem, Xiaohao, Yanhai, you should visit Grandpa first before coming back. He’s been waiting for a long ti." Luo Xisi, noticing Old Master Luo’s amused gaze, knew their timing for the return was perfect, greatly pleasing the old man.
"Brother, you go first," Luo Qianqian said obediently, standing on the ground and smiling at her brothers.
Knowing they had returned and should first pay their respects to the Old Master, Luo Yanhai and Luo Yanhao nodded and headed his way. They presud that with their return, those two wouldn’t dare to lay a hand on them anymore, but things took an unexpected turn.
"Slap slap" Luo Qianqian was slapped twice by Xu Xiaoxiao: "Don’t think you’ve got a backer just because your brothers are back. This is what you owe !"
Luo Qianqian couldn’t help but let tears fall when slapped unexpectedly. Her brothers, who hadn’t yet reached the Old Master, turned livid, and even Old Master Xu stood up in a rage, walking over to Xu Su and slapping him, "What a daughter you’ve raised!"

"Boss." Old Master Luo stood at the door, looking at Luo Qianqian’s little face, also feeling heartache.

Luo Qianqian shook her head; it was a loss of face indeed, to have such a child was truly a curse. As she shook her head, the movent tugged at her face, and she let out a slight hiss, drawing the Luo family’s sideways glances. Luo Qianqian quickly shut her mouth and ran to Old Master Luo with an obedient look: "Grandpa, Qianqian knows she was wrong, don’t be angry, I accept the punishnt."
"You were wrong," Old Master Luo said coldly: "Can’t you dodge a bit? How can a young lady like you afford to spoil your looks? Old Ma, are the eggs boiled yet?" After speaking, he knelt down with a pained expression to check Luo Qianqian’s face.
Luo Yanhai and Luo Yanhao were shocked by this preferential treatnt, as they rembered their own childhood when they got hurt in fights and brought wounds ho, Old Master Luo would say losing was shaful, winning and getting hurt was also shaful. "Grandpa~" Luo Qianqian sweetly called out to Old Master Luo: "Big uncle and the brothers have just arrived. Don’t you think they should eat sothing first?"
"Aren’t they big enough to take care of themselves?" Old Master Luo glared: "If they’re hungry, they can go to the kitchen."
Luo Xisi dejectedly headed to the kitchen. With Old Master Luo showing authority, he dared not provoke him.
"Eggs." Yue Tingyu handed Luo Qianqian a peeled egg: "Little girls ought to train properly. If you just confront others like this, what if they have a knife? Wouldn’t you be disfigured?"

"Brothers, are you hungry?" Luo Shufan saw that the entire family was paying attention to his sister, while the brothers were still standing, and the big uncle had already gone to eat, so he had to ask.
