Having said goodbye to everyone, Luo Xiying and Bai Yixian, followed by Luo Qianqian, Qin Nuan, and Xu Tianyi, boarded the train bound for Capital City. Considering the health of Luo Qianqian and Luo Xiying, Qin Liang decisively used his privileges to upgrade their seats to sleeper cars.

"Co back early and do well on your exams." Qin Liang placed the cold apple in Luo Qianqian’s hand. "Be good." He gently patted Luo Qianqian’s head.

Luo Qianqian nodded, enjoying Qin Liang’s bland tenderness and feeling even more envious of Qin Nuan for having such a sweet brother.

Qin Nuan sniffled, managing a strained smile, "Boss, you should head back now. I’ll be back soon." Qin Liang and Wei Guang had driven them there, while Chang Xi stayed back at the hospital to take care of Li Zexi, mainly because she disliked tearful farewells. Though there was no crying at all.

Qin Liang watched them board the train before he and Wei Guang turned to leave. Wei Guang asked softly, "Boss, does Little One have any sequelae?"

Qin Liang paused, looking at the slowly departing train and pursed his lips, "No."

As soon as Luo Qianqian reached the bunk, Luo Xiying lifted her into bed and gently covered her with the blanket. "Rest well, call if you need anything." This compartnt was shared by Qin Nuan and Luo Qianqian. Naturally, Qin Nuan wouldn’t let the injured Luo Qianqian sleep on the top bunk. She conscientiously placed her belongings on the upper bunk and pulled a box of milk from her bag, inserting a straw. "Have so, you can’t eat much now. Don’t go hungry."

Holding the milk, Luo Qianqian looked at Qin Nuan sitting beside her and chuckled lightly, "What, afraid I might lose hope?" Seeing the tense look on Qin Nuan’s face, Luo Qianqian felt touched. "Since I’ve co back, survived, and didn’t die, I won’t seek death on my own."

"I know." Qin Nuan sighed, "Do you know what you look like right now?"

"A zombie?" Luo Qianqian gave a bitter smile, having not looked in the mirror but could guess her current appearance; pale, haggard, with dark circles.

"You look more like a vampire," Qin Nuan shook her head, her eyes expressing pity, "Pale, utterly without color, haggard, dark circles, weak, like those vampires who haven’t drunk blood for days and have been in the sun."

Luo Qianqian smiled, showing her little vampire teeth, "I too, have vampire teeth."

Qin Nuan smiled and patted Luo Qianqian’s head. "Your uncle’s friend treated you really nicely, even brushing your teeth and washing your face for you. When I was little, neither my dad nor my brother treated like that."

"I had no choice. My usual hand couldn’t move, and the other was on an IV." Luo Qianqian stretched out her hand, looking at the red scars, and grimaced. "Nuan Nuan, I think I’ve got a Heart Demon."

"Pfft..." Qin Nuan had just picked up another box of milk and luckily swallowed the milk before spraying it all over Luo Qianqian’s face. She looked at Luo Qianqian with a face full of doubt, "Have you lost your mind? Heart Demon??? Jiuyin White Bone Claw? Entering Demonhood? White-haired Witch?"

"What are you thinking about?" Her husky voice carried a hint of resignation, and she didn’t continue the topic. "It’s good that I’m back. I’ll arrange for you to et him so other day. I can only provide technical support for the rest, I’m helpless in other aspects. You know, I still have exams..."

"Speaking of which, I suddenly rembered sothing." Qin Nuan nodded, but in the next second, a gossip-hungry expression appeared on her face, "What’s your relationship with that young man outside?"

Luo Qianqian said wordlessly, "What do you think?"

"Are you dating early?" Qin Nuan clicked her tongue, still adopting an experienced deanor to advise, "You’re still young. Whether a man is good or not has to be observed over ti. Don’t foolishly throw yourself into it and then co crying to later."

Luo Qianqian was even more speechless, "How old am I? We haven’t even defined our relationship."

"You still know you’re young? Tell his information, I’ll keep an eye on him for you when you’re not around," Qin Nuan said eagerly as she looked at Luo Qianqian.

Just then, a cold voice ca from outside, "You could just ask directly."

Looking at Xu Tianyi holding the cleaned apple, Luo Qianqian’s cheeks instantly turned crimson.

Xu Tianyi, not minding Qin Nuan’s gaze at all, sat beside Luo Qianqian’s bed and gently peeled an apple with a knife.

Qin Nuan was not embarrassed in the slightest, after all, her psychological age was obvious to her. Luo Qianqian was the only friend she acknowledged after coming back, and naturally, she was concerned about her friend’s lifeti matter. She directly asked, "What are your intentions toward my sister?"

"Since when did you beco my sister?" Luo Qianqian blinked her eyes, an innocent look on her face. Her hoarse voice rang in Qin Nuan’s ears.

Qin Nuan stomped her foot. "Aren’t you younger than ? Don’t you consider one of your own?" Seeing Luo Qianqian nodding in confusion, she decisively continued, "Then aren’t you my sister?"

Luo Qianqian nodded her head, feeling bewildered. If that was the case, didn’t she have brothers and sisters from all corners of the world?

"I will wait for her to grow up, beco the person she likes, and accompany her till our descendants are around us, growing old together slowly."

Xu Tianyi smiled slightly, his words, steady and without fluctuations, stunned the two people in the room. Luo Qianqian’s eyes widened. How old are you to dare say such things?

Qin Nuan’s mouth twitched. Was this feeding her a bunch of dog food?

"Naïve." Qin Nuan retorted, not willing to show weakness. Did he think he could so easily marry away the person she acknowledged? Impossible.

Looking calmly at Qin Nuan, Xu Tianyi then cut the apple in his hand into small pieces, placed them on a plate, and, like pulling off a magic trick, pulled out a pack of toothpicks from his pocket, ticulously sticking them into the pieces of apple, and placed them beside Luo Qianqian. "Eat." He then stood up, handed Qin Nuan a clean apple, "Ti will prove everything, companionship is the longest confession of love." Then he turned and left.

Qin Nuan bit into the apple resentfully, complaining to Luo Qianqian, "Why do I feel like I’ve been looked down upon by a kid?"

Luo Qianqian touched her nose, seeming like she wasn’t considered a child in Qin Nuan’s eyes? Looking at the apple cut into small pieces, she defended Xu Tianyi, "He’s mature for his age."

"Hey, girl, you haven’t even confird your relationship with him, and you’re already speaking up for him?" Qin Nuan’s face was full of amusent.

Luo Qianqian shook her head and picked up a piece of apple. "He’s a pretty good person."

"Is this giving out a good person card?" Qin Nuan pretended not to know and raised an eyebrow.

Luo Qianqian helplessly said, "I pursued him. I even told him that once I find my brother, I’ll be with him... "

"Wow..." Qin Nuan’s eyes widened. "A woman chasing a man only needs to get through layers of yarn; the ancients didn’t deceive ."

"...Who do you want to chase?" Luo Qianqian, feeling helpless and very tired, yet not wanting to sleep, asked.

"? Ah, I’ve beco disillusioned with this world that changes loyalties as easily as flipping one’s hand, not a single man is good..." Qin Nuan shook her head, looking at Luo Qianqian with an aggrieved face: "I feel like an old granny, full of doubts about the world."

"I’m deeply honored." Luo Qianqian ate an apple piece, then smiled: "The skeptical you still believing in , that’s my honor."

"Can’t be bothered with you..." Qin Nuan was speechless.

That night, Qin Nuan, extrely tired, went to sleep. Luo Qianqian, however, still stayed up, unwilling to close her eyes; she really didn’t want to continue experiencing that blood-red hell.

The next day, seeing Luo Qianqian who looked even more frail and haggard, even her dark circles getting bigger, everyone was perplexed. Was it because she wasn’t adjusting well to the new environnt?
