The next morning, Qin Nuan hitched a ride to the Luo Family’s ho with Qin Wen, who normally had weekends off, but had to leave unexpectedly for a work commitnt. After warning Qin Nuan not to go wandering off with Luo Qianqian, Qin Wen drove away without another glance at the gesticulating Qin Nuan.
Returning from his run, Luo Yanwu laughed as he saw Qin Nuan being cautioned by Qin Wen, noting that sibling relationships around the world shared the sa dynamic.
"Good morning," Luo Yanwu greeted warmly. "Qianqian ntioned your birthday is coming up soon. What gift would you like? I’ll get it for you," his tone clearly teasing.
"If you’re being so generous, I won’t turn it down. I’ve been eyeing that new product... which will probably sell well during the Qixi Festival," Qin Nuan started off as if accepting since it was offered, then subtly reminded Luo Yanwu about the Qixi Festival.
Obviously wary that Luo Yanran might forget, and Luo Yanwu might also forget to buy a gift for Cong Rong, it was truly a concern.
"Thanks for the reminder," Luo Yanwu smiled. Last night, Luo Qianqian had already reminded him, but he took this reminder to heart as well.
"Forget about my gift, as long as Qianqian rembers, that’s good enough, hehe." After all, in the Luo Family, only Luo Qianqian and she were very close.
"Alright," Luo Yanwu didn’t say much else. After all, this was his brother’s girlfriend and wishing her a happy birthday was enough. Who hasn’t had birthdays in the army that were simply celebrated with an extra bowl of noodles?

After chatting briefly with Luo Yanwu, Qin Nuan entered the house. Yue Tingyu and Old Master Luo had gone out to buy groceries, as they always ticulously picked what to cook whenever their granddaughter was ho.
Familiar with the house, Qin Nuan poured dog food for Baozi and then went upstairs without knocking, entering Luo Qianqian’s room only to find her sitting on the bed, hugging a pillow, her eyes weary.
Startled, she quickly stepped forward to adjust Luo Qianqian’s face, looking into her slightly reddened eyes, about to call for soone when she heard Luo Qianqian speak, "You’re overthinking it, I just stayed up late thinking about things."
"Thinking should not keep you from sleeping," Qin Nuan frowned tightly, her face full of disapproval. "Is it a relationship problem? Trouble with Xu Tianyi? Did he cheat? Or can you not contact him?"
With Qixi Festival approaching, Qin Nuan could only think of romantic issues.
Who knew Luo Qianqian would roll her eyes, "Do I look like soone who would care about that sort of issue?"
"Then what are you thinking about?" Hearing that it wasn’t a romantic setback crushing her heart, Qin Nuan felt relieved, sat beside the bed, leaning the pillow against the headboard for Luo Qianqian to lean on.
"Our dorm is in a state of division right now, all because of distrust, right? That’s what these events are designed to do, right?" Luo Qianqian said, "But what’s the use of us suspecting each other? How does it benefit anyone or distract attention from others? Should we only suspect people in the dorm?"
"Are you saying that soone wants to harm you, and to reduce suspicion from outsiders, they make us doubt and mistrust each other?" Qin Nuan was dumbfounded, although there had always been incidents of people targeting Luo Qianqian, each ti they had managed to get through without harm. Moreover, if it ca to a direct fight, Luo Qianqian might not necessarily lose.
"Moreover, with these things happening, it’s obvious that soone in our dorm is helping, so they still have a motive," Qin Nuan continued.

And her brother has been ill for more than just a couple of days now, maybe she hastily asked for leave to avoid sothing?" Qin Nuan said earnestly, but soon she looked sowhat discouraged: "I really want to say that, but her suspicion isn’t even as great as Zhang Yun and Xiu Ran’s."
"Hehe, do you know what I’m afraid of?" Luo Qianqian shook her head, a look of bitterness on her face.
"Is it that Cong Rong might be using your third brother?" Qin Nuan naturally understood Luo Qianqian’s implication and sighed: "Her suspicion is light but not completely absent, similar to Cao Yingying, possibly deliberately leaving. After all, for such a big issue, her going back wouldn’t really help." Her face showed an indescribable discomfort; after all, they were roommates she had lived with for a year.
