```
"Hey, custor, the flowers were sent by you; it has nothing to do with ." The flower delivery guy was panicking, and Cong Rong had also hurried over.
After hearing what the flower delivery guy said, she was totally confused, "The flowers were sent by you?"
Elvis nodded, "Isn’t Valentine’s Day coming up? In the West, you give chocolate, in the East, you give roses for Valentine’s Day, right? And for Christmas, you give apples." He chuckled lightly, "I specifically chose white roses because they really match her."
"White?" Cong Rong was taken aback, the roses she had just seen were clearly red.
Her gaze sharpened, "How many did you choose?"
No sooner had the words left her mouth than she saw the flower delivery guy’s face turn a strange shade, and her suspicion was further confird.
"Twenty-five, symbolizing ’I wish you happiness,’" Elvis said nonchalantly.
Cong Rong narrowed her eyes, "It seems that we need to call the police."
"No, no, no, it was another custor who sent them, we haven’t prepared that custor’s order yet," the flower delivery guy was imdiately flustered.
The look in Elvis’s eyes turned cold, "So, you’re saying if she hadn’t asked anything extra just now, you would have blad ? From what I see, you seem to know that sothing was going to happen? Is that why you left in such a rush?"
The flower delivery guy gave a bitter smile, who would expect this person to rember a minor employee like him? And to ask about the flower delivery?
Isn’t he just a foreigner?
"I only knew soone paid to help deliver the flowers and the letter, I know nothing beyond that." After saying this, the flower delivery guy remained silent.
Cong Rong paused for a mont, "Call the police."
Elvis nodded and took out his phone to dial the ergency number, his grip on the flower delivery guy not slackening in the slightest despite his slim build.
After the call to the police, Elvis’s expression turned serious, "Qianqian passed out after making contact with the flowers?"
Cong Rong shook her head, "She didn’t even touch the flowers because she was suspicious, it was the letter that she had co into contact with."
Elvis frowned, "That doesn’t make sense. He was holding the flowers the whole ti he brought them, wearing normal clothes without any protective gear. The letter must also have been carried on his person; it shouldn’t have been left untouched. Why does it look like nothing happened to him?"
The flower delivery guy looked helpless, but he also had no intention of running away, as he was deeply tangled in the affair, "I’m a legitimate employee, I wouldn’t tarnish the reputation of our shop for a bit of profit. Plus, the flowers were delivered by the boss this morning, and we only arranged them today. The letter was left by the custor who ordered the flowers yesterday."
Cong Rong looked unconvinced, but right now, Luo Qianqian’s situation seed more urgent. Who could have known that in the next mont, Qin Nuan would call with a tone full of helplessness, "It’s okay now, she probably fainted due to exhaustion."
Exhaustion? Cong Rong didn’t believe it, but after repeated confirmations, Qin Nuan was still very certain, leaving Cong Rong no choice but to reluctantly inform Elvis and then leave to visit Luo Qianqian.
Although Elvis let go of the flower delivery guy, the police who arrived soon after took them back to the station for a statent.
Quite coincidentally, the arriving officer was an acquaintance of Luo Qianqian, Qiu Yu.
The piles of roses in front of the dormitory building were taken as evidence, creating a sense of unease among everyone.
Later, the letter was also taken away as evidence, and Xi Ming went to the police station with them for an investigation, while Fang Rou looked at Luo Qianqian’s peacefully sleeping face with a slight frown.
Cong Rong and Qin Nuan whispered outside the dical office.
"This is clearly not just normal sleep, okay?" Cong Rong, looking at Fang Rou sitting by Luo Qianqian’s bed, furrowed her brows tightly.
```

Qin Nuan gave a wry smile, "Don’t worry, it’s nothing serious, just a nap."

Qin Nuan knew a little about the situation, but according to Fang Rou, it seed to be just a warning or sothing, and not ant in bad faith.

What had been used was just a common, volatile liquid sleep-inducing drug.

When Luo Qianqian opened the envelope, the liquid inside the thin plastic packaging at the seal was torn, causing Luo Qianqian, the closest to it, to inhale a large amount of the volatile gas and fall unconscious.

Qin Nuan couldn’t understand what Luo Qianqian had done to warrant a warning, especially since it was supposedly done without malice.

If there had been malice, she really didn’t dare to imagine.

"Nuannuan, you know sothing, don’t you?" Cong Rong wasn’t foolish and naturally understood that Qin Nuan was hiding sothing from her.

Without denying it, Qin Nuan nodded her head but said nothing.

Qin Nuan didn’t want to talk, and Cong Rong didn’t ask further, only frowning and saying, "Should we notify Qianqian’s family?"

Qin Nuan shook her head, "Let’s not, there’s no need to worry them. Qianqian doesn’t want her family to know."

But even if they all kept silent, would the Luo Family really not know? Obviously, they would.

At this mont, Luo Xihan was staring at the ssage on his phone, frowning deeply. He knew his son had gone to take sothing from a location, and that it was at Qianqian’s school, but how could it be that right after his son left, Qianqian had an incident happen? And not just any incident—she passed out, which even involved the police?

Lately, his eldest brother had been busy with military maneuvers, and his youngest brother had been preoccupied investigating sothing, leaving no ti for family matters. As the mainstay of the family, he naturally had to care for every mber of the family.

Especially the youngest, Luo Qianqian, whom the family always doted on, unable to bear even scolding her, turned out to be capable of standing on her own two feet outside.

He had also noticed that there were people watching Luo Qianqian, even soone protecting her, which baffled him. They were all very clear about Luo Qianqian’s background because of the previous incidents involving Luo Shufan and Luo Qianqian secretly changing her na. How could the family not protect her? How could they allow her to be bullied?

However, it was only right for Luo Qianqian to grow up, to think and judge independently, to discern who among those around her had ulterior motives and who was sincerely well-aning.

With this in mind, Luo Xihan made a call to his wife, asking her to check on their youngest son with her father, then hung up the phone.

He couldn’t reveal what had happened to Luo Qianqian.

The family’s affection for Luo Qianqian was such that they treated her like a precious gem. Not to ntion the children’s feelings for their only sister, even his wife and sister-in-law. They used to go shopping and would buy piles of new clothes, bags, and shoes, but now they might not buy anything for themselves and instead would buy new clothes or so pretty trinket for Luo Qianqian.

If they knew about these things happening around Luo Qianqian, wouldn’t they cause a scene at her school?

Not to ntion what the grandparents would do; they once had such a heated argunt over attending a parent-teacher eting for Luo Qianqian that their faces turned red. If they knew what Luo Qianqian was dealing with now, wouldn’t they make a fuss at the school until a separate dormitory was arranged just for her?

Although he sowhat desired to do the sa, he understood more that these were experiences that she had to go through for her growth.

"Qianqian has it tough too," he sighed softly, then his attention was diverted by his secretary knocking on the door, "Co in..."

At this mont, Luo Qianqian really didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Was this ssing with her? So she was supposed to faint in all sorts of ways and positions? She wasn’t Sleeping Beauty, okay?

Even Sleeping Beauty didn’t go through it over and over, okay?

She opened the envelope, and on it was a line of writing. Before she fell into darkness, it was only this line that she managed to see.
