Watching Luo Qianqian leave the school, Elvis looked utterly perplexed, "Are you going to my place?"
"No, I have a place to stay around here," Luo Qianqian shook her head, but in the next second, she stopped and awkwardly turned to Elvis, "Are you coming along?"
Elvis looked as though it was only natural, "Of course, I even skipped class for you." He spoke earnestly, as if filled with a sense of righteousness.
Luo Qianqian awkwardly touched her head, "Usually, there’s one, or maybe two kids living there, so it might be a bit dirty. Don’t get your hopes up too much."
After all, she had witnessed the tidiness of the environnt where Elvis lived that morning. Rembering her last visit there, where trash could pile up to fill the room, she inwardly shook her head.
"Kids?" Elvis seed quite interested in the word, probably because Luo Qianqian was just a kid herself.
"Yes, my little brother, picked him up." He was really picked up, found for free, always overflowing with misplaced sympathy.
Elvis nodded, "A little boy, a bit disorderly is normal. I understand."
Luo Qianqian laughed foolishly, without any hesitation, as Elvis hadn’t even asked her for a reason and had taken her back to his place that morning. Besides, Qin Nuan would be coming over soon too.
"So, as long as you’re not too shocked, it’s fine." Luo Qianqian said and then turned around, heading for the destination.
Elvis followed with ease. When they got there, Luo Qianqian still took a couple of deep breaths, inhaled deeply once more before she took out the key and opened the door.
Then she was stunned. Had she gone to the wrong place???
Seeing Luo Qianqian frozen at the doorstep, Elvis quickly pulled her aside, fearing the odors inside might have overwheld her.
However, as soon as he peeked inside, he was also taken aback. What was going on???
The room was filled with nurous pink, red, and white balloons covering the floor. Additionally, there were two giant teddy bears sitting on the couch, one with a bow tie and the other with a bow, positioned at either side of the sofa.
"What’s going on???" Luo Qianqian was utterly bewildered. Don’t tell her that such a little devil like Lu Simiao knew about the Qixi Festival?
"Why are you just standing at the door? Co on in!" Qin Nuan quickly arrived, and the first thing she saw was Luo Qianqian and Elvis standing stupidly at the doorstep.
She pushed them both into the room, and before they knew it, both of them fell on the floor inside. Qin Nuan also appeared at the doorway, her mouth agape at the sight inside the room: "Is this the work of that little devil or my elder brother?"
She knew well that Luo Qianqian didn’t have the ti in Siberia to ss around like this, and found herself helpless. What was the situation now?
Was it that Comrade Qin Wen failed to report the situation, or was it that little friend Lu Simiao was in puppy love?
"We’d like to know too." Luo Qianqian struggled to get up from the floor but didn’t have ti to deal with the balloons. "I need to check sothing first; you guys start cleaning up."
Luo Qianqian headed straight into the study. It was a place Lu Simiao wouldn’t enter, so it wasn’t affected by whatever had happened.
Skilled, she turned on the computer, directly navigated based on her previous search for Xiu Ran, and then raising her voice, called out, "Nuannuan, where was that small valley from last ti?" as she flipped through Xiu Ran’s file, stopping at the section listing his ho address, her gaze sharpening.
Qin Nuan was startled for a mont, then blurted out the address from mory, Luo Qianqian curled her lips, it was indeed just as she had thought.
With such a bottomless pit behind him, it’s no wonder Xiu Ran was too embarrassed to ntion it. In that case, was the last donation also deliberately orchestrated by Xiu Ran?
"Is there a result?" Hearing Luo Qianqian silent, Qin Nuan hesitated for a mont before directly entering the study.
Elvis was looking at the greeting card on the table, which only had writing on it. Colored pencils were set aside, apparently ready for more drawing. And on the handmade card, it read: "Sister, Happy Qixi Festival, may you be happy forever."
Your forever brother: Lu Simiao.
Elvis raised his eyebrows, celebrating Qixi Festival for Luo Qianqian? Wasn’t that a bit absurd? Not to ntion they would have classes tomorrow, and young students don’t even have half-day sessions. Qixi Festival is not like the Mid-Autumn Festival when there’s a holiday.
The two people in the study also had serious faces: "Do you an, because we didn’t donate, she ended up in this situation?"
"I’m afraid so." Luo Qianqian pointed to the address on the file for Qin Nuan to see, who was also stunned.
"Can’t be, right? We only donated a few hundred yuan initially, didn’t we? That doesn’t make sense." Qin Nuan shook her head repeatedly. That amount of money couldn’t even cover a good al for a few of them at a restaurant.

Maybe, that person appeared very early?
Luo Qianqian contemplated for a mont but didn’t plan to check the surveillance. After all, if the initial encounter showed no hints, it ant tracing Xiu Ran’s exact path from his arrival, which would be too ti-consuming.
"Perhaps it was because of previous concealnts that it was embarrassing?" Luo Qianqian wasn’t very clear about Xiu Ran’s thoughts, but one thing was certain, sothing had happened before they took the money that was embarrassing to ntion, and then, after they found out, Han Chen appeared.
"Who doesn’t have a past?" Qin Nuan didn’t think much of it. Speaking of the past, although nothing significant had happened recently, spiritually and emotionally, she’s experienced much more and naturally wouldn’t bla soone just for a little secrecy.
But thinking about it, her reaction was a bit over the top after the money was gone, wasn’t it?
Maybe it was the distrust and suspicion within the dorm that led Xiu Ran to his current predicant?
Luo Qianqian shut down her computer: "So what do we do now? Go or not go?"
Elvis, hearing their conversation, just raised his eyebrows. No matter the consequences of this matter, the decision was now in the hands of the two girls in the study. He had no reason to interfere, nor could he.
"Youth is wonderful, isn’t it?" Elvis sighed softly, and notably, this sigh was clearly heard by Luo Qianqian and Qin Nuan, who looked at each other for a mont and then nodded firmly to each other.
Qin Nuan: "Exactly, we’re still young. There’s no reason to hold onto a small mistake forever."
Luo Qianqian: "Then let’s go. After all, it’s been a long ti since we’ve had such a thrilling experience. My heart is restless; if I keep quiet, I fear my body’s response will decline."
Knowing that what lies ahead is unknown, it might be just a scare or perhaps fraught with danger, the unknown is the most terrifying. Yet, the two of them still exchanged a smile.
They had long experienced life and death. Even if it were just a dream, what they now possessed was sothing to be envied; youth is a one-way adventure.
Not to take risks, wouldn’t that an they’d aged?
