"Hmm," Chang Xi nodded, and lightly laughed seeing how their outfits’ colors matched, "Your brother-in-law didn’t co; he fell a bit ill from traveling, still lying at ho."
Then, curious, she asked, "Why do you call him brother-in-law?"
Back when Luo Qianqian was using the alias Ye ng, she always referred to Ye Liang as ’brother’.
Luo Qianqian curved her lips into a smile, "Too many brothers, too many sisters-in-law, but very few sisters."
That was indeed a fact; Luo Qianqian had one blood brother, one stepbrother, one cousin, and four other male cousins—making seven in total, and she was about to have seven sisters-in-law. If there were any more, she feared she would start mixing them up.
"Exactly, aren’t we closer? We’ve even shared a room to sleep," Chang Xi chuckled, patting Luo Qianqian’s shoulder, "Have you been eating properly? You look frighteningly thin."

He then passed the microphone to the girl beside him. She released the man’s arm and took the microphone with both hands, "Thank you everyone for attending my coming-of-age ceremony. I am Chu Ting.
