Hayley Cole suddenly ca back and then ran away again. Mia Cole couldn’t keep this matter from Hazel Bennett.

"She took all her luggage?" Hazel Bennett, after listening to Frederick Cole, felt bitterness welling up in her eyes.

"At Jas Reed’s house." Frederick Cole knew so details, though he hadn’t investigated specifically.
"Hayley really has been won over by Jas." Hazel Bennett said sorrowfully.
"Should I..."
"No need." Hazel Bennett interrupted Frederick Cole, shaking her head and saying, "Approaching Hayley now would only make her act even more extre; let her calm down outside for now."
"What if..." Hazel Bennett paused, struggling to speak, "If Hayley truly has no mother-daughter bond with , then I’ll accept it."
Frederick Cole knew that for Hazel Bennett to say such words was like cutting into her heart with a knife.
This decision wasn’t made today but accumulated over many years, day by day.
It seems the atmosphere at ho subtly influenced Hazel Bennett, making her no longer as weak as before, finally realizing that so things need to be let go of.
"What if she goes astray?" Frederick Cole asked. This question was truly too cruel for Hazel Bennett, shocking her into sitting up straight, staring blankly at Frederick Cole.
Frederick Cole said nothing more, just looking at her steadily, waiting for her response.
Instantly, the atmosphere in the room turned silent and oppressive, making Hazel Bennett feel her heart beating irregularly, thumping rapidly, seeming as if it might shatter.
"If that’s the case..." Hazel Bennett’s voice trembled, beyond her control, "Whatever happens, happens."
"I can’t control it; let the authorities deal with it." Hazel Bennett painfully covered her face, speaking with difficulty.
She hadn’t refrained from disciplining Hayley Cole, even Frederick had tried, but she was truly resistant to being managed.
Whenever things went wrong, she would threaten suicide; what could she do?
Could she really force her own daughter to death?
So, she could only persuade Frederick to let it go, not to intervene.
She actually believed that, given enough ti, Hayley would slowly change, that having family at ho caring for her would change her mindset.
Unfortunately, she was wrong.
"If she is willing to ask for help from ho, I’ll do my best to assist her." Frederick Cole said, "As long as it’s not sothing unforgivable, we’ll support her. Even if she faces difficulties, we’ll take care of her."
Hazel Bennett covered her lips, tears circling in her eyes.
She understood Frederick’s intentions; it was to prepare her for the worst in advance, fearing that she wouldn’t be able to cope later on.
"I know, I know." Hazel Bennett nodded repeatedly.
Why did Hayley have to be so stubborn?
Why wouldn’t she see how good the Cole Family is to her?
Currently, Hayley Cole is imrsed in the joy of newlywed life. Of course, since Jas Reed expressed that he needs so ti to adjust, they haven’t moved in together yet.
