However, she considered that it hadn’t been long since Jas Reed and Ophelia Wilson broke up, so she suppressed that impulse.
Sophie Wilson smiled and blurted out a string of direct best wishes: "May you be together forever, grow old together, and have kids soon."
Hayley Cole didn’t see a trace of unwillingness on Sophie Wilson’s face. She seed to smile genuinely, which made Hayley Cole very uncomfortable.
"Sophie Wilson, you’re so fake!" Hayley Cole concluded irritably.
Sophie Wilson: "!!!"
Wait, how was she being fake?
Was Hayley Cole seriously brainless?
Not just brainless, but a complete ten out of ten!
"I congratulated you on your marriage, and it’s wrong? Do you want to curse you instead?" Sophie Wilson was honestly baffled by Hayley Cole’s thought process.
This is an absolutely incomprehensible thought process for normal people.
"Sophie Wilson, are you just insanely jealous of right now?" Hayley Cole said smugly, "Are you scared?"
Sophie Wilson stared at Hayley Cole in horror.
Obviously, Sophie Wilson’s reaction pleased Hayley Cole, making her face look even more smug.
Sophie Wilson being scared was exactly what she wanted.
"Yeah, I’m scared!" Sophie Wilson nodded in acknowledgnt, "Miss Cole, you really should get that brain checked out, don’t ignore a problem and avoid dical advice!"
Hayley Cole’s eyes widened as she couldn’t help but start cursing, "Sophie Wilson, who are you saying has a brain problem?"
"I an you." Sophie Wilson confird to Hayley Cole.
"You’re the one with the problem!" Hayley Cole cursed.
"You’re not the one with the problem, and you think I’m scared? You getting married with Jas Reed, what’s there for to be scared of? Does the world end or the earth explode when you get your marriage certificate?" Sophie Wilson asked contemptuously.
Her montary fear was just from encountering a lunatic on the street.
Who wouldn’t be scared of a crazy person who’s lost their mind?
"Sophie Wilson, stop pretending here. I think you’re absolutely scared." Hearing Sophie Wilson say this, Hayley Cole mocked her with a sideways glance, "Your Charles Seymour is always bullying my Jas Reed, isn’t it all just because he’s got a bit of cash and so connections?"
"Connections?" This ti Sophie Wilson was genuinely puzzled, "Who does my Mr. Seymour rely on?"
"Isn’t it just his uncle!" Hayley Cole ntioned this and glanced at the Jas Reed beside her, "Why is there such a big difference in treatnt when both Jas and Charles Seymour are nephews?"
"Hayley, let’s go." Jas Reed pulled at Hayley Cole, seemingly not wanting her to continue.
But Hayley Cole was holding back her anger on behalf of Jas.
Now, running into Sophie Wilson, there was no way she would let this anger pass without confronting it.
Let’s not forget, not too long ago, Sophie Wilson had used her tricks to embarrass her during a bidding event!
And the things from before, she rembered them all, not a single one was forgotten, nor would they ever be forgotten.
"No way! You don’t usually speak up and just endure it, but now you’re my husband, I can’t let anyone bully you like this." Hayley Cole shielded Jas Reed like a mother hen protecting her chick, using her shoulder to brace against the outside storm.
"Besides, what’s there to be proud of about that uncle? Can he be more powerful than my dad?" Hayley Cole sneered, "My dad is still the chairman!"
"In the future, even if he wants to cozy up to Jas for support, Jas doesn’t need him. Jas has , and I have my dad!"
