"Aunt, have you practiced before?" Julian Campbell squeezed through the crowd, curious and whispering.
"Yes." Sophie Wilson nodded, confirming it.
As for what was in her mind... it seems soone ought to know.
"I’ll head back to tidy up first." Sophie ran a hand through her hair and said.
Even though she could pull off those action scenes, she was still covered in gri and sweat. Without a shower, she’d be uncomfortable all over.
"Alright, alright." Julian didn’t waste words, escorting Sophie to the car and back to the hotel.
"Aunt, let tell you, that Jas Reed is no good." In the car, surrounded by his people, Julian spoke freely.
"Jas Reed’s mom was the one who drove my uncle’s mom to her grave. Jas is my uncle’s half-brother." Julian revealed Jas Reed’s identity directly.
"Don’t be fooled by his gentle appearance; he’s truly insidious. He and his mother have bewildered my uncle’s father, who pays no attention to my uncle and sent him to a training camp early on."
"They would’ve preferred if my uncle died in there, just so Jas could inherit the Seymour Family’s assets."
Julian was earnestly warning Sophie, afraid she might be deceived.
Sophie stroked her chin: "Actually, I think they may deceive Charles’ father, but he and Charles are ultimately father and son..."
"Oh, co on, Aunt! Don’t be so naive, alright?" Julian was desperate, afraid Sophie would suffer a loss, "You don’t know how my uncle’s father is spoiled by the family, how could he possibly outplay Jas and his mother?"
"If things really blow up, it’ll still be my uncle who suffers. His father is already dazzled by Jas and his mother and wouldn’t side with him."
Sophie laughed and said, "What I an is, if Charles’ father truly rembered Charles as his son, no matter what others say, he wouldn’t treat him like this."
"The reason he’s influenced by those around him is simply because he thinks Charles isn’t as important as Jas and his mother. A father like that... isn’t worth having."
Sophie’s words left Julian with his mouth agape, seeming like... the naive one was actually him...
Aunt is so cool!
After returning to the hotel, Sophie enjoyed a comfortable shower, lay down, pulled her laptop onto the table beside her, and opened the video to watch soone working.
Yeah, it’s just that sticky!
At first, when that soone video-called her, he was quite stiff while working under her watchful eye.
But... over ti, he got used to having the video on, with them doing their own things without interfering with each other.
Sophie was studying the script, writing down her insights and understanding, analyzing the characters, and noting subtle psychological changes.
Once she had thought through all of this, she could portray the character better.
Sophie was remarkably dedicated to this role, feeling she matched the supporting female character perfectly.
Engrossed in studying the script, Sophie wasn’t aware that Charles Seymour, who appeared expressionless and seemingly focused on his office work, was inwardly stirred by a few QQ ssages.
"Uncle, Aunt is amazing! She doesn’t need a stunt double at all!"
"That stunt double is a retired pro, and even he’s stunned!"
"Oh my gosh! Uncle, did you know Aunt is this fierce?"
"So cool!"
