The car slowly stopped by the roadside, and when the driver’s door opened, the owner stepped out.
In his thirties, his looks were average at best, but with a body that showed he worked out regularly, not an ounce of extra fat.
Most strikingly, the suit he wore looked high-end, a suit like that paired with such a luxury car scread two words—rich man!
The car stopped right in front of Lucas Payten’s car, and when the two cars were placed side by side, Lucas Payten’s car looked like a plucked quail, as shabby as could be.
Lucas Payten gritted his teeth, feeling extrely annoyed.
Tonight was supposed to be his mont to shine, but he was overshadowed by this suddenly erging luxury car, truly embarrassing.

"Eva, if Sophie and the others don’t want to ride, then let them be, no need to force them." Lucas Payten advised with a smile.
"Alright, Sophie, since you want to take the bus, go ahead. Lucas and I will leave first, thanks for the treat today." Eva said arrogantly, turning to open the car door.
"Sir." The suited man called, opening the luxury car door.
Amid the stunned and incredulous gazes, Charles Seymour nodded slightly, greeting Sophie’s colleagues: "Sophie and I are leaving first."
Then, he naturally protected Sophie’s head, letting her get in the car first, and then walked to the other side to get in himself.
The wealthy man’s driver returned to the driver’s seat, shut the door, and with a graceful start, the car drove off lightly, leaving Eva and Lucas Payten standing stiffly in the night breeze, frozen in their action of open car doors.
"Wow, Sophie’s boyfriend is so rich!"

Eva slamd the car door shut and turned her head, running off in sha and anger.
Lucas Payten quickly closed his car door and chased after her, desperately shouting, "Eva, hey... why are you running? Wait for !"
Those colleagues who had previously stood up for Sophie let out a boo.
"Let them show off earlier, this slap was too satisfying!"
"Serves them right! A car worth over a hundred thousand and you’re flaunting it. Is that even worth one wheel of Sophie’s boyfriend’s car?"
The male colleague seriously explained, "If it’s the base model, it might barely be worth a wheel. But looking at Mr. Seymour’s car, it doesn’t seem like the base model."
With a driver, how could it be the base model?
