Kai Bright shifted his arms and legs; holding the sa posture for too long had made his body sowhat stiff.
"Charles isn’t up yet?" Sophie Wilson, not seeing Charles Seymour, asked curiously.
"He’s up, in the kitchen." Kai Bright pointed with his hand, also adding that it was quite scary to see him in the kitchen.
"Him? In the kitchen?" Sophie Wilson turned and headed towards the kitchen. She had stayed there for quite so ti and had never seen him in the kitchen. What was going on today?
Before she reached the kitchen door, Charles Seymour had already co out, carrying a tray with several plates on it.
"Why are you carrying it yourself? Call to help." Sophie Wilson reached out with concern to take the tray.
"It’s fine." Charles Seymour slightly dodged, not letting Sophie Wilson help, as the housekeeper would bring out the other things.
Seeing there was nothing else, Sophie Wilson followed and sat down in the dining room, while Charles Seymour placed several plates in front of her.
After taking a bite, Sophie Wilson’s eyes lit up, "Hey, our chef’s skills have really improved!"
It was noticeably more delicious than before.
"I made it." As soon as Charles Seymour finished speaking, what should have followed was a warm atmosphere, but it was imdiately broken by a fit of harsh coughing.
Charles Seymour turned around irritably, glaring at the troublemaker.
Kai Bright really wished he could find a hole to disappear into at that mont.
He finally understood why Charles Seymour reacted that way earlier; all that was prepared by Charles for Sophie, and then he ate it.
"Cousin, what’s wrong?" Sophie Wilson asked worriedly, "Want so water?"
Kai Bright shook his head repeatedly, indicating she shouldn’t worry about him.
Really, don’t mind him; didn’t you see Charles Seymour’s terrifying look again?
Well, you couldn’t really bla Charles Seymour; he was the one who ruined the atmosphere.
After Kai Bright stopped coughing, he said with a laugh, "Charles, I didn’t expect you to be so skilled? All these years being brothers, I never had the chance to taste your cooking. That’s really biased, only cooking for Sophie."
As soon as he said that, he could clearly feel Charles Seymour’s gaze finally gaining a human warmth.
Kai Bright secretly let out a sigh of relief, thankful that he reacted quickly enough to smooth things over.
Charles Seymour turned his head to look at Sophie Wilson and calmly said, "If it’s good, eat more."
"Okay." Sophie Wilson nodded happily and asked curiously, "How co I never knew you could cook?"
"Just learned it." Charles Seymour replied nonchalantly, which really startled Kai Bright.
Oh wow, you just learned and can already cook this well?
Is he even human?
"Wow, we both have such a talent for cooking!" Sophie Wilson exclaid excitedly; indeed, the two of them were quite a match.
Kai Bright: "..."
Really, cousin, your talents are definitely not on the sa level.
After the al, Sophie Wilson went upstairs to rest. Just as Kai Bright was about to sneak away, Charles Seymour grabbed him by the collar and dragged him to the dojo in the basent for a serious talk.
"I’m dying..." Kai Bright rolled around on the ground, groaning in pain.
Unfortunately, the act of playing victim had no effect on Charles Seymour. He turned away and left, moving so swiftly and decisively that he didn’t even leave a cloud behind, leaving Kai Bright feeling utterly disheartened.
"All for just eating a breakfast ant for Sophie? Was it that serious?" Charles Seymour was gone, and Kai Bright stopped feigning, slowly getting up from the floor.
