Now reading: Chapter 324 Slightly Drunk from Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate, a Romance novel by Yue Yi Ming.

Sophie Wilson slowly withdrew her gaze and asked Charles Seymour in confusion, "What’s with my cousin..."

Such a woeful way to run off, why does he look so much like... that bullied little wife?

At the thought of this analogy, Sophie Wilson inexplicably felt a chill, with goosebumps threatening to rise.

"It’s nothing, don’t worry about him," Charles Seymour replied nonchalantly, "Let’s go over everything again to make sure there are no mistakes, lest when the ti cos..."

Before he could finish his sentence, suddenly the vision before him darkened as Sophie Wilson lunged forward.

Startled, Charles Seymour quickly reached out to catch her firmly, his voice rising involuntarily, "What are you doing?"

Lunging like that, what if she accidentally fell?

"I like you," Sophie Wilson laughed and gave Charles Seymour a big kiss on his thin lips.

Just like that, all the anger Charles Seymour had inside dissipated with a poof.

"From now on, don’t lunge at so suddenly. What if I don’t catch you?" Charles Seymour insisted on saying what needed to be said; he didn’t want to see her get hurt.

Snuggled in his arms, Sophie Wilson asked curiously, "How could you possibly not catch ?"

In her bright, sparkling eyes, only his clear image reflected, her complete trust making Charles Seymour’s heart beat powerfully, full of a pure sweetness.

Her trust was so sweet it left him a bit tipsy.

"No need to review, we’ve already discussed how to handle Grace Wilson, there surely won’t be any mistakes," Sophie Wilson said with a smile, then raised her hand and pinched Charles Seymour’s cheek, making the corners of his lips involuntarily curve up, causing her to burst into laughter.

Charles Seymour’s cheek was gently pinched by her, his eyes slightly bending as he looked at her "mischief" with endless amusent hidden in them.

"Dear Mr. Seymour, aren’t you always so amazing, having full confidence in everything you do?" Sophie Wilson raised her eyebrows at Charles Seymour, relaxing her hand to allow him to return to his handso deanor, "Why so nervous this ti?"

As soon as she finished speaking, Sophie Wilson thought of Charles Seymour’s reserved nature and raised her eyebrow to quickly add, "Is it because of my situation that you’re being so cautious?"

She’s now learned to be clever, not waiting for him to say it but bringing it up first to save this guy from holding it all in.

"Yes," Charles Seymour nodded.

Then, his lips were sealed.

At this point, how could Charles Seymour possibly be polite?

The roles reversed, conquering the territory, these are things he’s quite skilled at.

Finally kissed until dizzy, Sophie Wilson silently wailed in her heart, wondering how the heck he mastered this technique?

Does this also depend on talent?

Looking at Sophie Wilson snuggled in his arms with flushed cheeks, sulking quietly, Charles Seymour’s eyes were full of silent laughter. His slender fingers gently brushed through her long hair, the soft strands twining around his fingers, tickling him, extending all the way to his heart.

He just wanted to hold her like this, forever.

The largest conference room in the five-star hotel had already been set up.

There was nobody on stage yet, but the dia was all present.

The major dia outlets had their fixed positions while other outlets used various thods to claim the remaining good spots. After all, the press conference that Grace Wilson was about to hold was a big news item, everyone wanted to snag the most advantageous vantage point.

Since it was a weekday, the online buzz wasn’t as high as during peak tis, but there were still quite a few people online today.
