"Why haven’t you changed clothes yet?" Sophie Wilson waited for ages downstairs but didn’t see Charles Seymour coming down, thinking he might be up to sothing, so she went upstairs to have a look.
One glance at him, and Sophie got quite a scare, hurriedly taking two steps forward and touching his forehead: "Why is your face so red? Do you have a fever?"
It was warm, but not scorching.
Sophie Wilson frowned and started pulling Charles Seymour’s hand to drag him downstairs: "Co on, let’s go to the hospital."
But she didn’t manage to pull him.
Sophie turned her head and saw Charles speaking very calmly: "I’m fine, just a bit hot, a shower will do."
Sophie blinked a couple of tis; she really didn’t know that a fever could be cured by taking a shower. What kind of latest treatnt is this?
She looked down at the hand holding her wrist, the palm in contact with her skin was also burning hot, even sweating.
And he says... it’s nothing?
"You..." Sophie still wanted to persuade Charles to go to the hospital, but then her gaze swept to a bulging spot on his body, suddenly realizing what it was, and a wave of heat unexpectedly ignited her face, burning hot.
She didn’t need to look in a mirror to know her face must be incredibly red.
Charles, noticing Sophie’s gaze, looked at the unusual spot on himself, and said very calmly: "It shows I’m healthy, ensuring the quality of our future marriage."

Sophie wished she could slap Charles across the face; what kind of mindset did this bastard have to speak so calmly about this, as if he were reading an instruction manual without any emotional fluctuation?

"I’m going downstairs first!" Sophie shut it down directly, flinging Charles’ burning hand aside and darted off downstairs like a hungry wolf was chasing her.
Charles touched his own chin, a faint smile erging on his lips, hmm, Sophie was embarrassed.
This particular fellow never knew what sha was, anyway, in his view, Sophie was bound to be his wife sooner or later. Letting her realize his "capability" early would lay the foundation for their future happiness as a couple.
Returning to the room, as he was taking a shower and dealing with his "fever" issue, soone was still very pleased, thinking that Sophie should realize how strong her attraction to him was.
Since Sophie understood his intentions, then the proposal in a few days should go smoothly.
Even though they already had mutual affection now, Charles was still a bit nervous about proposing. Caring too much can make you worry, even about sothing almost certain, fearing any mishaps.
Downstairs, Sophie was slapping her cheeks, continually cursing that particular fellow in her mind, thinking about what on earth he was thinking?
Why, while she was downstairs preparing supper, was he upstairs letting his imagination run wild?
If he’s going to let his imagination run wild, why that direction? What is he thinking exactly?
Sophie put her hand on her forehead, truly embarrassed to death.
In her previous life, she hadn’t been in a relationship at all, and even when she survived, she was only fixated on so stupid idiot until death.
Now, Charles’ reaction was so big, for Sophie, the excitent was truly overwhelming.

Her heart raced, blood pumped faster, and the heat just wouldn’t go down, her heart thumping like there was a little bunny inside, constantly bouncing around.
"Add a dish of cold bitter lon tonight!" Sophie called out to the kitchen; damn it, she felt like both of them needed to cool down.
