Sophie Wilson looked at Charles Seymour, then glanced down at the docunt in her hand. With a slight smile, she put it away and handed it to Charles Seymour.
Charles narrowed his eyes dangerously. She actually dared to give it to him.
"Why are you glaring? Help put it away." Sophie raised an eyebrow and glared back fiercely, "Rember, you’ll be working for in the future. Make sure to earn well, hear ? Or else I’ll fire you."
A faint smile appeared in Charles Seymour’s eyes: "Accepted it?"
"Of course I accepted it. You’re entirely mine, so why should I feel embarrassed about this?" Sophie huffed, speaking as if it was only natural.
After all, this guy could even give her his life, let alone sothing as trivial as material belongings.
Hearing Sophie say this, not only was Charles Seymour not upset, he was quite gratified.
"Mhm, let’s eat." Charles was extrely happy and served food to Sophie Wilson.
Today’s events truly wrapped up perfectly, though there was a tiny flaw.
Of course, that small flaw didn’t affect Charles Seymour’s good mood. The atmosphere in the romantic and cozy private room was just right.
anwhile, in another private room of the sa restaurant, things weren’t going as well.
"Jas, why hasn’t the person arrived yet?" Ophelia Wilson had been sitting for quite a while. When had she ever waited for soone like this?
"It’s not ti yet." Jas Reed was comfortable staying seated and urged Ophelia Wilson with a word.
Ophelia impatiently pursed her lips and glanced at her watch. There were only five minutes left until the agreed ti. This was too much, not showing up yet?
"Sorry for being late." As the door opened, a tall man appeared at the entrance of the private room. His elegant scholarly deanor made Ophelia Wilson montarily dazed, as if seeing a noble prince from ancient paintings step out in a flowing robe.
"President Perry." Jas Reed quickly got up, took two steps forward, shook Jim Perry’s hand firmly, "We were early. President Perry, please, please have a seat."
Jim Perry nodded with a smile and sat down, each gesture exuding an air of nobility.
Even Jas Reed, coming from a prestigious family, paled in comparison to Jim Perry. The gap between them... Ophelia Wilson quickly stopped her thoughts. To continue thinking in this manner was disrespectful to Jas.
"Is this Mr. Reed’s fiancée?" Jim Perry’s gaze fell on Ophelia Wilson, tightening sothing within her.
Though she truly loved Jas Reed, under Jim Perry’s gaze, her heartbeat lost its usual rhythm, beating like a lovestruck young girl, thumping wildly.
In the entertainnt industry, she’d seen countless handso n, yet Jim Perry still electrified her.
"Yes," Jas Reed introduced with a smile, "My fiancée, Ophelia Wilson, the daughter of the Wilson Corporation."
"Ophelia, this is Jim Perry, President of the Peace Group."
"I’ve long admired President Perry’s reputation, I didn’t expect him to be so young and handso." Ophelia Wilson said sincerely.
The three of them, all accustod to social settings, enjoyed the al to their hearts’ content.
After eating and drinking their fill, they finally parted ways.
Ophelia Wilson and Jas Reed eagerly escorted Jim Perry out. As the door of the front private room opened, the smile on Ophelia Wilson’s lips grew sowhat rigid. Why was Sophie Wilson here?
Ophelia initially intended to pretend not to see Sophie, but unexpectedly, Jim Perry took two quick steps forward and asked politely with a smile, "Hello, are you Miss Sophie Wilson?"
