"What on earth is Sophie Wilson trying to do?!" Grandpa Wilson was trembling with anger, nearly smashing the laptop in front of him.
"Grandpa, my identity..." Ophelia Wilson looked at Grandpa Wilson with difficulty.
"Don’t worry, I said you’re my granddaughter, so you are my granddaughter!" Grandpa Wilson said firmly, while glancing at Jas Reed, "Jas, Ophelia is the granddaughter I’ve cherished since she was little. Even if she isn’t my son’s biological child, in my heart, she’s as dear as family. Do you understand?"
At this mont, Grandpa Wilson’s attitude was really like an elder using all his strength to protect his kin, steadfastly standing as a strong support for his granddaughter, even knowing she is stronger than him.
Jas Reed nodded heavily, sincerely saying, "I understand, Grandpa Wilson. Rest assured, my feelings for Ophelia have nothing to do with whether she is part of the Wilson Clan."
"Grandpa, Jas..." Ophelia was so touched that she almost cried.
The three of them were so genuine in their expressions, yet only they knew if what they thought in their hearts matched what they were showing.
"Actually, this matter is also my fault," Jas Reed said helplessly, "I didn’t know my brother would handle things so..."
Even at this mont, Jas Reed couldn’t bring himself to use malicious words on Charles Seymour, always maintaining his gentlemanly deanor.
"Forget it, how could this be your fault?" Grandpa Wilson waved his hand, "Let’s just leave this matter as it is."
"Ophelia, it’s getting late, you and Jas should go back," Grandpa Wilson said, "I’ll stay in the hospital with your aunt."
"Grandpa, let stay with Aunt, you and Grandma go back," Ophelia offered considerately.
Grandpa Wilson shook his head, "Your grandma won’t be at ease. It’s okay, if we get tired tonight, we’ll return to the hotel to rest."
Seeing Grandpa Wilson’s insistence, Ophelia and Jas Reed couldn’t say anything else. They could only leave the hotel together with Grandpa Wilson, and after dropping him off at the hospital, Ophelia and Jas Reed finally drove away.
In the car, Jas Reed was once again full of affection towards Ophelia, while Grandpa Wilson returned to the hospital room, signaling Benjamin Walton at the door, who quickly stepped out.
Once they were far from the hospital room, Benjamin Walton asked, "Dad, what’s going on?"
They had all received calls earlier, saying there was an incident online.
He couldn’t leave, so he had Grandpa Wilson and the others go to a nearby hotel to get online and see what was happening.
"Erie’s matter was exposed online by Charles Seymour," Grandpa Wilson said in a deep voice.
"What? He has the audacity to sar Erie!" Benjamin Walton beca anxious upon hearing this, "Dad, we can’t let this be, we need to get a lawyer and sue Charles Seymour."
After hearing Benjamin’s words, Grandpa Wilson sighed heavily with a peculiar expression, "We really can’t sue Charles Seymour over this."
"Why?" Benjamin didn’t understand.
"Because Erie took the dicine herself," Grandpa Wilson pressed his throbbing forehead.
"What?" Benjamin couldn’t believe his eyes as he stared at Grandpa Wilson.
"There’s evidence online, proof of Erie buying the dicine, and witnesses from the ti," Grandpa Wilson would undoubtedly protect his daughter, but the online evidence had no weak spots, making it impossible to refute.
