After speaking, the host concentrated on eating.
He didn’t care about the situation between Jas Reed and Ophelia Wilson; it was their own matter, and he, as an outsider, only needed to do his job.
Having finished hosting, all that was left was to eat, eat, eat.

Her friends complinted her: "We’re eating, it’s absolutely delicious. Never thought I’d get to taste a dish from Master Jackson; Chaya, we’ve truly benefited from your good fortune."
"Oh, Chaya, your jewelry is so beautiful." Another friend couldn’t resist praising Chaya Davis.
"This..." Chaya Davis touched her earrings, beaming widely, "My daughter bought them specifically for . I said they were too expensive, but she wouldn’t listen and insisted on buying them. Can you believe a place like that is within our reach?"
Chaya Davis deliberately ntioned the brand of the jewelry, causing her friends to exclaim in surprise: "Gosh, that jewelry brand? It’s so expensive, tens of thousands!"
"Chaya, you’re practically wearing a house on your body."
Listening to her friends’ envious exclamations, Chaya Davis felt over the moon internally, despite her blank outward expression, casually shrugging: "Oh please, the villa I live in now costs far more than this set of jewelry could afford."

Although she wasn’t entirely pleased with Clarissa Taylor, it was clear now that Clarissa was vastly better than Chaya Davis.
"Mom, what are you looking at?" Erie Wilson tugged at Old Mrs. Wilson in puzzlent.
"Nothing," Old Mrs. Wilson replied, returning with a smile.
"Still, isn’t it strange? Why didn’t anyone from the Seymour Family co? Could it be that they don’t approve of Ophelia and Jas’s marriage?" Erie Wilson was always "straightforward," saying whatever was on her mind.
However, not far from her were Ethan Seymour, Charlotte Reed, and Ophelia Wilson and Jas Reed.
Erie’s words made Ophelia’s heart skip a beat; she wished she could slap her across the face.
Would it kill Erie not to speak?
She had felt sothing was off all along, noticing that apart from Jas’s parents, no one else from the Seymour family was present.
