Sophie Wilson and their group were still inside the parking lot, continuing to walk further in.
As they approached their car, Sophie paused when she saw the person ahead, a sarcastic smile curling on her lips.
Charles Seymour glanced over, but pretended not to see, holding Sophie’s hand and continuing forward.
Ethan Seymour, who had purposely waited there, watched as Charles drew closer, and then Charles walked past him without so much as a glance, treating him like thin air.
Already feeling utterly embarrassed, how could Ethan possibly endure this?
"Charles Seymour!" Ethan bellowed angrily, the parking lot was already empty, and his voice reverberated, full of montum.
The sudden outburst startled everyone in the parking lot.
Unfortunately, Charles, having already walked past Ethan, was completely unfazed, as if Ethan’s roar hadn’t happened.
Ethan snorted with anger, turning to grab Charles.
"What are you doing?" Old Mr. Seymour had already approached, shouting angrily.
What, bully his grandson right in front of him, thinking he’s dead?
"Dad, I called him, he ignored ." Ethan’s anger was mixed with endless grievance, as he turned to accuse Old Mr. Seymour.
Old Mr. Seymour glanced at Ethan, and mocked, "It’s not the first ti he’s ignored you."
"Dad!" Ethan couldn’t believe his father would say such a thing, wasn’t this too humiliating?
"Alright, go about your business, stop blocking the way here." Old Mr. Seymour said impatiently, it had been a rather joyous day, and this encounter truly dampened the mood.
"Dad, this isn’t over!" Ethan finally found an opportunity to unleash his pent-up anger from the entire night, and it erupted instantly.
"Dad, you’re just too biased! You even attended Charles Seymour’s engagent party, but not Jas’s!" Ethan accused angrily.
Old Mr. Seymour laughed upon hearing this, asking him, "Who ever told you I would attend Jas Reed’s engagent party? Why would I skip my Seymour grandson’s engagent and instead attend that of the Reed clan’s? I’m not senile yet!"
Old Mr. Seymour’s words embarrassed Jas imnsely, this old dodger in his heart only cared about Charles, right?
"Then why did you still pick an engagent date for Jas?" Ethan incredulously questioned, "If you didn’t want to attend, why were you so eager to choose the date for Jas’ engagent before?"
Old Mr. Seymour laughed after hearing this, his aged laughter filled with deep mockery, making Ethan incredibly uncomfortable, prompting him to ask, "Dad, what are you laughing at?"
"When did I ever pick an engagent date for Jas Reed?" Old Mr. Seymour’s words left Ethan staring at him in shock, asking incredulously, "Then last ti when I ca, you and mom were..."
"Of course, picking a good engagent date for Charles!" Old Mr. Seymour’s words, like a thunderbolt, left Ethan utterly confused.
Old Mr. Seymour, holding onto this for so long, finally could vent his anger: "How could you think I would pick an engagent date for soone who drove my daughter-in-law to death and left my grandson heartbroken?"
Old Mr. Seymour’s words made Charlotte Reed and Jas Reed’s faces burn with embarrassnt, what exactly was this old dodger trying to do, saying this in front of so many people?
