Noticing Sophie’s gaze, Charles looked over innocently and asked, "What?"
His bewildered look made it seem as if he truly didn’t know what was going on, but the question was...
Sophie squinted dangerously, "Mr. Seymour, has anyone ever told you that you’re quite an actor?"
Charles looked even more puzzled, displaying a look of pure innocence.
Sophie’s forehead vein throbbed in frustration—who was the jerk that just scratched her palm with a finger?
This is called harassnt, isn’t it?
Sophie clenched her hand, gritting her teeth, "You think I didn’t notice? Couldn’t feel your little antics?"
Charles then suddenly understood, calmly saying, "I was just moved, the way you protected just now was really impressive."
"It made unable to resist wanting to..." Charles’ voice turned deep and alluringly husky, "do sothing."
Now it was Sophie’s turn to be confused. She blinked blankly, asking innocently, "What do you want to do?"
Charles’ eyes darkened instantly, like an unfathomable deep pool ready to devour her soul, "What do you think?"
"I don’t know, that’s why I’m asking you," Sophie said with pure innocence as if butter wouldn’t lt in her mouth.
Unfortunately, her act didn’t fool Charles, who rely smiled and stayed silent. Instead, he held her hand, while they saw Old Mr. Seymour, Madam Seymour, and Julian off.
As for Mason and Clarissa, they were sent by a driver.
At this mont, Charles could barely resist the urge to sprout wings and fly back ho.
Sophie was completely unaware that she had already been marked by a certain soone who had transford into a wolf. She was still savoring everything from the engagent party.
As for Ethan and the others... were they really worth the ntal energy to rember?
Charles watched Sophie with a warm smile lingering on her lips and asked with a slight raise of his eyebrow, "What’s up?"
"The engagent party..." Sophie elongated the words as she spoke.
Charles’ eyes lit up a bit, asking, "Were you satisfied?"
"The food was exceptionally delicious," Sophie said with excitent, which made the driver tighten his grip on the steering wheel.
Luckily, the driver had strong nerves, preventing the car from swerving dramatically.
Such a grand engagent party, with every detail exquisite, yet in Miss Wilson’s mind... it was only the food that stood out?
The driver hadn’t finished his inner monologue before hearing his master’s low laughter, "I’ll invite Master William to our ho to make it for you every day."
Driver: "..."
He felt that ever since his master started dating Miss Wilson, his ntal resilience had increased significantly.
All the dog food they were feeding him... he sincerely thanked his master and Miss Wilson for their nurturing!
He now had only one tiny question—was Master William soone who could just be invited whenever?
"Do you think Master William would bend for money now? That you can easily invite him to be your chef?" Sophie burst into laughter at Charles’ words.
"Master William has a family," Charles said coldly.
A chill ran from the driver’s tailbone to his head, almost making his scalp explode.
His master... couldn’t be planning to threaten Master William, could he?
Sophie chuckled, pinching Charles’ cheeks and turning his face side to side, "Don’t say it so seriously like you’re about to kidnap Master William’s family to coerce him."
Driver: Is that not what it is?
"I would persuade his family mbers, have them convince Master William," Charles said earnestly, "I am quite a reasonable person."
