"Certainly!" Jas Reed stated confidently, "In terms of strength and comprehensive capability, I dare say our Seymour Corporation absolutely surpasses the Clark and White Families. However, your company chose not to select our Seymour Corporation. I believe there must be so human interference in this matter."
Jas Reed’s words were just short of directly pointing out that Mason Wilson was causing trouble.
The people from the Clark and White Families exchanged glances, secretly amused.
Jas Reed was visibly furious; otherwise, he wouldn’t have said such things.
However, thinking about it, they could understand.
In order to cooperate with Peace Corporation, Jas Reed really "put in a lot," only to discover in the end that the one he initially abandoned turned out to be the most useful. Not only Jas Reed but even they might find it hard to accept.
"Mr. Reed thinks I was ddling in it?" Mason Wilson frankly unveiled the matter, virtually tearing the face-to-face relation with Jas Reed.
The Clark and White Families were secretly taken aback, not expecting Mason Wilson to say that.
They had business dealings with Mason Wilson before; he was always known for his steadiness in conduct and rarely being sharp.
"This, I am not quite sure, but I rember this partnership wasn’t initially under Mr. Wilson’s responsibility." Jas Reed’s face wore a fake smile, "I wonder why Mr. Wilson could take over this project halfway. For such a big project, you typically wouldn’t change the person in charge midway."
"This is an internal matter of my company and doesn’t seem to need Mr. Reed’s concern," Mason Wilson said with a smile on his face, though his words were distinctly assertive.
Jas Reed didn’t expect Mason Wilson to say that, his eyes flickered coldly, and then he sighed helplessly: "Uncle Wilson, about Ophelia and I..."
"Mr. Reed, we’re at the company, discussing business. I believe our Peace Corporation’s decision was indeed appropriate. After all, we’re looking for a partner, not soone who constantly blurs the line between public and private matters, bringing personal emotions repeatedly into business discussions." Mason Wilson’s words left Jas Reed’s face twisted between shades of green and white, looking quite unpleasant.
Mason Wilson disregarded how Jas Reed felt and turned to the representative of Clark Corporation, saying, "Mr. Clark, let’s go prepare to sign the contract this afternoon."
"Alright," the representative of Clark Corporation had no objections.
With such a good deal, it was of course necessary to quickly inform the chairman that their Clark Corporation had secured a partnership with Peace Corporation.
"Mr. Wilson, are you really not going to reconsider?" Jas Reed gritted his teeth, holding back his anger as he questioned.
All his efforts over such a long ti were ruined by Mason Wilson just like that?
He was unwilling!
He was not resigned!
"Mr. Reed, this is the company’s decision," Mason Wilson continued to smile, yet the smile didn’t reach his eyes; it was perfunctory.
Jas Reed clenched his teeth, making a creaking sound.
The location of Peace Corporation was absolutely in the pri district of the business circle, with understandably expensive real estate prices.
The hotels being set up here were of high standards.
Old Mrs. Wilson deliberately booked a banquet hall, inviting many business friends they worked with, as well as friends from the Seymour Corporation, to hold a celebration banquet for Jas Reed.
Generally, celebration banquets are held in the evening.
Even the cooperation signing with Peace Corporation was scheduled for the afternoon.
