Ethan looked at the silent Jas Reed beside him and asked in a low voice, "Are we going over there just like this?"

The receptionist shook her head in embarrassnt, "I’m sorry, sir, but without an appointnt, President Perry is unavailable."
"Wait a mont," Jas Reed said with a sinister tone, then he took out his phone and called Jim Perry.
"Mr. Reed, I thought we had made everything clear," Jim Perry remarked as soon as he picked up, blocking any possible persuasion from Jas Reed. Although he appeared like a gentleman, it didn’t an he lacked temper.
"President Perry, I’m right here at your company’s reception. I think it’s best you let in for a talk; otherwise, I believe President Perry wouldn’t want your chairman to know about your ’close relations’ with ." Jas Reed intentionally emphasized "close relations," carrying a hint of threat.
"Alright, then please co in, Mr. Reed," Jim Perry chuckled. It was unclear from his laughter whether he was intimidated or had compromised.
Jas Reed didn’t care about this; he simply hung up the call, all he needed was to be allowed in.
Just as Jas Reed hung up, the phone at the reception rang. The receptionist picked it up, "Okay, okay, I understand."
After hanging up, the receptionist smiled at Jas Reed and Ethan, "Gentlen, please follow ."
The receptionist led the two inside.
Ethan felt a sigh of relief in his heart as he looked at Jas Reed; indeed, Jas had a way.
As long as they could get in, they would have room for negotiation.
