Upon reaching a door, Jim Perry directly twisted the doorknob and walked in.
Ethan Seymour looked at the doorplate, a bit puzzled. Wasn’t he supposed to take them to the chairman’s office?
Why lead them to the eting room instead?
"Their chairman must be here." Jas Reed naturally noticed Ethan Seymour’s confusion and explained in a low voice.
Ethan thought for a mont and understood.
Of course, Peace Corporation was about to sign a contract with Clark Corporation, so why would the chairman of Peace Corporation be in his office? He’d definitely be here.
Realizing this, Jas and Ethan walked into the eting room behind Jim Perry, and upon seeing the people inside, both were taken aback.
They recognized everyone inside.
Mason Wilson, of course, didn’t need an introduction, and the two people sitting there were clearly Aiden Clark, the chairman of Clark Corporation, and his son Daniel Clark.
Clark Corporation’s people were here, but the chairman of Peace Corporation wasn’t.
What did Jim Perry an by this?
Jas Reed and Ethan Seymour were surprised, and Aiden Clark and Daniel Clark were even more astonished, weren’t they?
The Clark father and son exchanged glances, seeing only confusion in each other’s eyes, not understanding why Seymour Corporation’s people ca to the signing between Clark Corporation and Peace Corporation.
"President Perry, what’s going on?" Mason Wilson asked.
As a mber of Peace Corporation, he naturally needed to understand what was happening.
Jim Perry smiled and said, "Mr. Reed from Seymour Corporation is very dissatisfied with the final decision our company made, so he ca over wanting to talk to the boss about switching to his family."
Upon hearing this, Mason Wilson looked at Jim Perry as if he were a fool.
Even if the Clark and White Families weren’t options, Charles wouldn’t choose Seymour Corporation.
He knew how much that brat holds a grudge.
Wasn’t it just because he flicked Sophie on the forehead that day, and then his workload suddenly increased? Don’t think he doesn’t know that it was Charles Seymour’s revenge!
As a future father-in-law, he’s willing to let it pass without arguing with the kid.
The look Mason Wilson gave made Jim Perry laugh and cry, helplessly saying, "Mr. Reed said if I didn’t bring him, he’d report for taking bribes."
"Huh?" Mason Wilson looked at Jim Perry in disbelief. Would he accept bribes?
That’s crazy, isn’t it?
Jim Perry wasn’t short of money, why would he want Jas Reed’s things?
Jas Reed never imagined that Jim Perry would blatantly speak out about this matter so openly. He felt a pang in his heart; this wasn’t what he had planned.
Aiden Clark and Daniel Clark found it even more baffling, simultaneously feeling increasingly contemptuous of Jas Reed.
It turned out, while everyone was striving to cooperate with Peace Corporation, Jas Reed was secretly making these moves.
But using this to threaten Jim Perry... was indeed too low-level.
Did Jas Reed think he had everything wrapped up?
Didn’t he see that Jim Perry hadn’t been the least bit nervous from the start? Jas Reed’s calculation was probably off.
"What’s going on?" Mason Wilson asked Jim Perry. During his ti working at Peace Corporation, he had witnessed the efficiency and sharp thods of the people here.
He had also marveled before, saying that Charles Seymour really knew how to find talent.
At that ti, Jim Perry looked at him with an extrely complex expression and sighed, "After working under the boss for a long ti, everyone gets polished."
Back then, Mason Wilson felt both amused and helpless, always feeling that Jim Perry and the others idolized Charles Seymour too much.
