After a scrumptious dinner, Julian Campbell returned ho contently.
As soon as he walked into the yard, he overheard the chef talking to the housekeeper: "...I’ve never seen anyone as talented as Mr. Seymour. The dishes he makes are truly delicious."
"That’s different," the housekeeper replied with a smile, "Mr. Seymour is cooking for Miss Wilson, it’s filled with love, how could it not be good?"
Both of them laughed, happy about the sweet relationship between Mr. Seymour and Miss Wilson.
However, Julian Campbell felt a little unhappy hearing this news.
"Excuse ..." Julian walked over and asked, "Was tonight’s dinner cooked by my uncle?"
The chef, seeing it was Julian, quickly replied, "Yes, tonight Miss Wilson wanted to eat sweet and sour pork with pineapple and spicy shrimp, so Mr. Seymour specially ca back early to cook for her."
Julian: "..."
He suddenly turned around, went inside, and rushed upstairs to find his uncle!
The chef was left a little puzzled by Julian’s actions, looking at the housekeeper blankly, asking, "What happened?"
The housekeeper also shook her head in confusion, she had no idea.
"Uncle!" Julian barged into Charles Seymour’s study, glaring at his uncle in indignation and asked, "Did you have the chef cook for because you didn’t want to eat your cooking?"
Charles responded very calmly to Julian’s question, asking mildly, "Can you handle it?"
"Uh..." Julian scratched his head, it seed he really couldn’t.
"Were those dishes enough for three people?" Charles continued to ask.
Julian awkwardly pursed his lips, it seed they really weren’t enough.
"I had the chef make sothing you could eat and liked, what’s the problem?" Charles kept asking.
Julian shrank, shrank, shrank... trying hard to retreat into a corner, realizing he might have been making a fuss over nothing.
"No... no problem..." Julian weakly murmured.
This answer satisfied Charles.
"But, Uncle..." Julian swallowed, mustering up courage, he blurted out with determination, "What you’re saying makes sense, but I still feel like you didn’t want to eat the food you specially made for Auntie!"
He never doubted his uncle’s care for him, but compared to Auntie... he really had to step aside.
Charles looked at Julian.
Julian straightened his chest, showing he would not succumb to the "evil forces."
Charles asked in a calm tone, "So what if I am?"
Julian: "..."
That’s just plain bullying!
And then, Julian whimpered as he ran away.
Charles shook his head and continued to look at company emails.
To ensure Sophie would live comfortably in the future, he needed to work hard so that she wouldn’t have to worry about spending money.
Feeling aggravated, Julian drove not ho, but to the Seymour family’s old house: "Old Mr. Seymour, Old Mrs. Seymour."
Once inside, Julian looked at the elderly couple with excitent and said, "I’ve got a big piece of explosive news for you, you have to brace yourselves."
"It’s good news, not bad." Julian reassured them in advance, afraid of scaring them; if anything happened, he couldn’t bear the bla.
"What is it?" Old Mr. Seymour asked curiously.
"My uncle is..." Julian’s excited statent was calmly cut off by Old Mr. Seymour, "the chairman of Peace Group."
Julian’s eyes widened in shock: "Old Mr. Seymour, you knew already?"
