"I’m just pointing out your mistake, when did I ever..." Old Mr. Wilson didn’t want to admit to what Sophie Wilson said, but unfortunately, Sophie wouldn’t listen to his hypocritical nonsense and interrupted directly.
"Old Mr. Wilson, actually, the person you should be currying favor with is , not trying to suck up to Mr. Seymour by reprimanding ." Sophie pointed at herself, bragging, "Did you forget what I showed at the engagent party?"
Old Mrs. Wilson was montarily confused, but Old Mr. Wilson’s face turned pale all of a sudden.
Seeing this reaction from Old Mr. Wilson, Sophie knew he rembered, and nodded heavily, saying, "That’s right, Mr. Seymour transferred everything to my na. In other words, the Peace Group now doesn’t belong to Mr. Seymour, but to !"
Old Mrs. Wilson gasped, her legs went weak, and she couldn’t stand as she collapsed into a chair. The imnse impact made the chair legs scrape against the floor, producing a harsh noise.
Still, no sound was as strong as the shock in Old Mrs. Wilson’s heart.
"So, if you want to be associated with the Peace Group, it depends on whether I agree, not Mr. Seymour." Sophie bragged as she looked at Old Mr. Wilson, then turned her head to ask Charles Seymour, "Am I right?"
Charles Seymour nodded emphatically, giving a clear answer, "That’s correct."
"Look, did you see that?" Sophie looked at Old Mr. Wilson with a smirk, raised her index finger, and shook it at him, clicking her tongue, "So, Old Mr. Wilson, from the start, you used the wrong thod and found the wrong person."
Old Mr. Wilson felt alternating waves of hot and cold, extrely uncomfortable, with his mind buzzing like tens of thousands of flies crashing around, unable to regain his usual level of reasoning.
"Sophie Wilson, is this how you treat your elders? Who spoiled you?" Old Mr. Wilson scolded angrily.
"I did." Charles Seymour’s voice was as cold as if it had pierced up from a bottomless icy abyss, making Old Mr. Wilson shiver and instantly cooling his rage-heated brain.
Old Mr. Wilson quickly looked towards Charles Seymour, but upon eting his dark eyes, which seed like they contained the black flas of hell, he timidly looked away.
How could this Charles Seymour, so young, have such a terrifying aura?
Old Mr. Wilson muttered in his heart, but thinking of the Peace Group created by Charles Seymour, he understood.
To have built the Peace Group, a business empire, in such a short ti, it’s no wonder Charles Seymour had such a strong aura.
Old Mr. Wilson quickly cald himself, then looked at Charles Seymour with a smile, saying, "Mr. Seymour, what I an is... handing such a big group over to Sophie doesn’t seem right, does it? After all, she knows nothing, what if she bankrupts the Peace Group?"
"Hmm." Charles Seymour nodded slightly, thoughtfully saying, "As long as she’s happy."
Old Mr. Wilson almost spat out a mouthful of blood.
Could Charles Seymour be any more of a spendthrift?
"Isn’t this nonsense?" Old Mr. Wilson was furious, "Does Old Mr. Seymour know how you’re ssing around? Aren’t you worried Old Mr. Seymour won’t like Sophie in the future?"
Charles Seymour looked at Old Mr. Wilson quite oddly, and asked, "You’re overthinking it; my grandpa really likes Sophie."
