"It’s nothing, it’s nothing..." Lucy Wells was almost dazzled by Kai Bright’s handso smile, so she quickly bowed her head and continued bandaging him.
Kai Bright squinted his eyes slightly, looking at Lucy Wells with flushed cheeks and ear lobes, feeling a bit sentintal. What an easily embarrassed woman.
anwhile, Sophie Wilson frowned after hanging up the phone and asked Charles Seymour, "What’s going on with my cousin? How did he get hurt to the point where he needed to take soone hostage for help?"
"The mission has a little trouble, he can’t reveal his identity." Charles Seymour wasn’t surprised at all; the matters Kai Bright dealt with were always like this, requiring identity concealnt.
"I wonder how my cousin is doing." Sophie Wilson said worriedly.
She had been consoling Lucy all along, but the truth is, she was most concerned about Kai Bright.
Lucy was startled by Kai Bright’s sudden appearance, but Kai was indeed injured.
"I asked, and he’s fine." Charles Seymour reassured her, "With his abilities, he won’t have an accident that easily."
Sophie Wilson sighed heavily, pressing on her aching forehead, "My cousin is just too careless."
"After he cos back, I plan to intensify his training." Charles Seymour promised, "I’ll try to ensure he avoids getting hurt in the future."
"Yes, make sure to train him well. His missions are so dangerous; he must be properly trained." Sophie Wilson said, "Isn’t there a saying, sweat more in practice, bleed less in battle?"
"That’s right." Charles Seymour affird, "After he cos back, I’ll make him sweat more."
Kai Bright, who was far away in a remote location, had no idea that his dear brother-in-law had upgraded his training course several levels because of his cousin’s concern.
Sophie Wilson looked at Charles Seymour, poked him with her finger, and said, "You’re more capable than him."
"Yes." Charles Seymour was absolutely unreserved about this.
In front of the woman he loves, what man would admit he’s not as good as another?
Moreover, he actually is more capable.
"Am I capable?" Sophie Wilson asked with a smile.
"Very capable." At this, Charles Seymour’s eyes darkened as he thought of Sophie Wilson back then, feeling as if an invisible hand squeezed his heart, twisting it painfully until he almost shivered.
Back then, no matter how painful or how injured he was, he’d never felt pain like this.
"Hey, do you think I’ll be more capable when I regain my mory?" Sophie Wilson asked with a smile.
"You will." Charles Seymour added, "You’re already very capable."
"Of course, I’ve even snagged you; how could I not be capable?" Sophie Wilson said contentedly, snuggling up to Charles Seymour’s arm.
"The day after tomorrow, I’m going to the airport to pick up Lucy." Sophie Wilson said, "This ti, she was quite frightened."
"Shall I take you there?" Charles Seymour asked.
"Why would you take ? I’m driving myself. You should busy yourself with work at the company. If you’re there, Lucy might not feel at ease. It’s better if you n don’t intervene when girlfriends talk." Sophie Wilson said with a smile, "Focus on work, don’t keep running around."
As if she didn’t know that he often had to take work ho and finish it at night just to accompany her.
Even if he didn’t mind the fatigue, she felt sorry for him.
"Okay." Charles Seymour nodded, feeling extrely happy inside that Sophie cared for him, feeling his heart ache for him.
"Alright, hurry up and go to sleep." Sophie Wilson pulled Charles Seymour in for a peck on his lips, gently patting him to hurry and go to bed.
