"Mhm, mhm." Lucy Wells naturally had no objections. The two of them each bought a pair of little bunnies, then held hands and continued shopping.
The shopping cart behind was being steadily pushed by Kai Bright.
Thinking about him in the training camp, wasn’t he... right?
Now, he has transford into a bag carrier, cart pusher, driver, and various other support roles. The contrast is indeed significant.
However, he actually found it quite enjoyable.
Kai Bright touched his chin and sighed lightly, helplessly. Was he really falling in love?
Having bought a bunch of stuff, it was naturally impossible for Lucy to carry it all ho on her own. After driving Lucy ho, Kai Bright transford into a strongman, carrying all the things Lucy bought in his hands and escorted her upstairs.
To avoid any awkwardness for Lucy, Sophie Wilson of course followed them upstairs.
"Sophie, co on, co on." Emma Wells, very familiar with her daughter’s good friend, warmly greeted Sophie as soon as she opened the door.
"Hello, Auntie." Sophie walked in with a smile, greeting Lucy’s grandma who had just co out of the bedroom, "Hello, Grandma."
"Oh, hello, hello." Old Mrs. Wells smiled and nodded repeatedly, "Co in and sit, sit. I’ll get you drinks."
"No need, Grandma, I’m so familiar with Lucy." Sophie smiled and stopped Old Mrs. Wells. No way she could let soone of such age serve her drinks.
"Who is this..." Emma Wells looked at Kai Bright. This young man was truly handso.
"My cousin, Kai Bright." Sophie replied with a cheerful smile, "Lucy and I went shopping, we needed soone to carry the bags, right?"
"You sly kid..." Emma Wells laughed as soon as she heard this, directly using the young man as a laborer?
But looking at Kai Bright’s response, he was smiling all the ti. He really had a good temper.
"Hey, just in ti, it’s dinner ti, don’t go. Just eat here with us. I’m cooking ribs tonight." Emma Wells invited them.
"Sure." Sophie agreed without hesitation, she’d eaten here before.
"Thank you." Kai Bright politely said.
"No trouble, no trouble at all, it’ll be ready soon." Emma Wells said with a smile, "Take a seat, Lucy, entertain Sophie and them."
Emma Wells was a swift person; she went into the kitchen, started washing and cutting dishes, and soon had a few more dishes prepared.
Sophie helped with bringing out the food, and just as the al was served, she received a phone call, "Mhm, mhm, okay."
Sophie smiled and said, "Auntie, my boyfriend needs for sothing, I’ll have to leave first."
"Oh, don’t. Why not have your boyfriend co over and join us for dinner? There’s plenty of food." Emma Wells quickly said.
"No, Auntie, I need to go with him sowhere." Sophie said with a smile, and seeing Kai Bright stand up as well, she quickly pushed him back down, "I’m leaving, why are you standing up? Stay and eat, Auntie’s cooking is really good."
"Yes, yes, Kai Bright, don’t go." Emma Wells quickly said.
"This..." Kai Bright looked a bit embarrassed, his shy deanor making Sophie quite exasperated with her cousin’s bashfulness, feigning death.
"Right, don’t let Auntie’s good intentions go to waste." Sophie smiled and turned to Lucy Wells, "Lucy, I’ll leave my cousin to you."
