"Then rember to call ." Hayley Cole reminded Jas Reed, and after receiving his affirmative answer, she left satisfied.
Once they got into the car, Ophelia Wilson casually asked, "Jas, who is that Miss Cole anyway? How did you know her?"
"The day I took you ho, I ran into her having so trouble on the road, so I helped her out a bit. Didn’t expect to run into her again." Jas Reed spoke indifferently, as if he hadn’t taken the matter to heart at all.
"Her father is Chairman Cole," Jas Reed said, "I only found that out later on."
"Chairman Cole?" Ophelia Wilson’s heart skipped a beat, overwheld by a strong sense of crisis, she jokingly said, "Miss Cole seems to really be into you, my Jas is so charming that even the daughter of Chairman Cole likes you."
"What kind of joke is that?" Jas Reed shook his head amused, "She’s just a playful girl. We’ve already gotten engaged, so don’t joke like that anymore. My heart belongs to you."
"Mhm, I know you’re the best to ." Ophelia Wilson nodded happily, feeling half of her worries lifted.
Jas Reed truly had no interest in Hayley Cole, but while she was confident in Jas, she wasn’t so sure about Hayley Cole.
Won are always spot-on when it cos to other won; she clearly saw sothing different in Hayley Cole’s attitude towards Jas.
Ophelia Wilson said nothing, just gripping her bag which contained all the materials Jas Reed had given her about the director.

"Jas Reed really is a talent." Sophie Wilson clicked her tongue and praised, "If I were Ophelia Wilson, I’d absolutely be head over heels for him."
Kai Bright happened to pass by the study room and nearly tripped.
Seriously, you’re saying in front of your fiancé that you’d be head over heels for another person? What are you even trying to do?
"Uh, Charles, my sister’s just joking, it’s not like that." Kai Bright stepped in, deciding to rescue Sophie Wilson.
Sophie Wilson glanced at Kai Bright, and couldn’t help but burst out laughing, hugging Kai Bright tightly and patting his back, "Brother."
Her cousin truly cared for her.
Didn’t look like he was afraid of Charles Seymour, but still stood up for her—that’s a true brother.
Even if it’s a cousin, he’s a real one!
Absolutely a real one!
Kai Bright didn’t share Sophie Wilson’s heartfelt sentints; when he entered the study room, he hadn’t felt anything amiss in the atmosphere.
But since Sophie hugged him, Charles Seymour’s gaze was as sharp as knives, constantly piercing him.
"Sis, let go first. Let’s talk properly." Kai Bright raised his hands cautiously, proving his innocence.
What he really wanted to say was... Sis, if you don’t let go, your brother is going to be skewered by Charles Seymour’s sharp glare.
He really didn’t want to die in such an inexplicable way; it’s too unjust.
"Oh." Sophie Wilson released Kai Bright and sat back down, then soone extended a long arm, pulling Sophie Wilson into his embrace, to declare his claim.
Kai Bright helplessly glanced at Charles Seymour, truly having no romantic interest in his cousin, even though they’re distant enough to legally marry. He genuinely doesn’t have a shred of feeling for his cousin Sophie.
"I wasn’t speaking nonsense just now. If I were Ophelia Wilson, I really would be head over heels for Jas Reed, loving him wholeheartedly without regrets!" Sophie Wilson redirected the topic with a smile.
