Lily Warren reacted quickly, nodding repeatedly: "Yes, it’s a sudden discomfort."
She was genuinely feeling chest discomfort—made upset by Sophie Wilson.
"Dad, you go ahead with the eting, I’ll take mom to the hospital," Grace Wilson dutifully suggested.
"Okay, go ahead." Stephen Wilson nodded, "Have the driver take you."
"Alright, I understand. Dad, you all carry on, I’ll call if there’s any situation." Grace Wilson finished speaking and helped Lily Warren out of the eting room.
Naturally, they encountered company staff outside the eting room, and the staff asked a couple of concerned questions.
Grace Wilson smiled and said, "It’s nothing, my mom is just feeling a little unwell, I’m taking her to the hospital. No need, you guys keep busy, I can handle it."
This dutiful daughter Grace Wilson assisted Lily Warren away, and so employees who had good relations with Grace were already given a heads-up to spare no efforts today to dean Sophie Wilson!
They promptly found a topic to discuss.
"Mom isn’t feeling well, and look at Supervisor Wilson imdiately taking her to the hospital. Even though Supervisor Wilson is busy, he knows to take his own mom for a check-up, what could our second miss be so busy with? Refusing to leave the eting room."
"Right, it’s not like we ever heard of her doing any work. How important is she exactly that the company can’t run without her?"
These few seed to be speaking up for Grace Wilson but were actually making sure everyone in the company knew just how power-hungry Sophie Wilson was.
Why would soone insignificant insist on staying in the eting room?
Fighting for family assets and ignoring her own mom, what kind of person is that?
With this comparison, the company staff’s internal balance tilted directly towards Grace Wilson.
So staff even enviously looked at the people in Grace Wilson’s team; they knew Supervisor Wilson had secured two major deals, and their team was in line for a windfall.
Other teams could only helplessly keep busy, looking for other clients.
More than an hour later, the eting room doors opened, and managers from different branches walked out beaming with joy.
"President Wilson, you truly have a wonderful daughter!"
"How could President Wilson’s daughter not be impressive?"
"We will now go back and get everything in order, definitely not holding back the company."
The flattery from everyone made Stephen Wilson beam with pride: "Future work will rely on everyone; this deal must go off without a hitch."
"Rest assured, President Wilson, we definitely won’t ruin our own prospects!"
They weren’t fools, who wouldn’t understand that executing this deal well could open up new opportunities for their company?
Who would want to ss with their own inco?
"See, the ability of our Supervisor is evident to all." The speaker was Alia Cooper, Grace Wilson’s deputy and the one who was in the know earlier, "You guys had better keep your eyes sharp and not follow the wrong person."
"If any of you are interested, you can apply to join our team; after all, with the two hotel projects, our team is really going to be quite busy."
Alia Cooper’s words made the faces of other team supervisors not look so good.
If their mbers were all poached by Grace Wilson’s team, would there even be a need for their team?
If their team disbanded, wouldn’t these few supervisors also face demotion?
However, since Grace Wilson secured the major deals, they could only pick up so bits and pieces of residential projects here and there.
