"Sophie, you should take this back," Old Mr. Seymour said. Sophie only then noticed the box at his feet, with "Miss" carefully placed inside.
Sophie burst out laughing, "This is a birthday gift for you. Why are you ’returning’ it? I must inform you that there are no returns or exchanges on goods sold here."
"You child," Old Mr. Seymour was amused by Sophie’s playful remark but insisted, "This item is too valuable. Take it back quickly. I understand your good intentions, but this is unnecessary."
"That won’t do," Sophie raised her head haughtily, "This is my respect for you. If you don’t accept it..."
As she spoke, Sophie suddenly sniffled a couple of tis and looked pitifully at Old Mr. Seymour, her voice carrying a faint sob, "Is it because you don’t approve of being with Charles?"
"Oh, what nonsense are you talking?" Old Mr. Seymour got worried at once. Where could he find such a wonderful granddaughter-in-law?
"The wedding is already set, how can I go back on it?"
The mont Old Mr. Seymour said those words, Sophie, who had seed wronged and ready to cry, imdiately broke into a brilliant smile, "Exactly, Grandpa, we’re all family. Why be so formal with ?"
Sophie smiled and picked up the box, "Co on, let escort you two over there, or everyone else will get anxious waiting."

After sending Old Mr. and Mrs. Seymour to the car, Sophie and her group finally returned to their car. As for Patrick, he had left earlier; he certainly wouldn’t delay a family reunion.
"Once we get ho, I’ll go visit my parents," Sophie, nestled in Charles Seymour’s embrace, decided to tell her parents everything to stop them from worrying.

Sophie looked up at the composed Charles and couldn’t help but pinch his cheek, teasingly asking the man with the bun-like cheeks, "Mr. Seymour, aren’t you curious?"
"You can’t even rember it yourself. Even if I was curious, you wouldn’t be able to explain it," Charles’s cheek was gently pinched, yet he spoke with clarity.
Sophie pouted, staring at Charles in frustration, releasing her grip in exasperation, "Having such a smart boyfriend isn’t fun at all."
He guesses everything correctly, honestly leaving no sense of achievent.
"It’s fiancé, not boyfriend," Charles solemnly corrected Sophie’s mistake in her words.
Sophie: "..."
Is that the point?
Sophie looked at him speechlessly, while he stared back seriously, paying great attention to her "mistake."

Over on Jas Reed’s side, initially, they were in a disadvantageous position, but the final outco was quite good. The companies collaborating with the Seymour Corporation, for the most part, agreed to cooperate with Ophelia Wilson, creating an atmosphere that was quite positive.
